alen4smith:C'mon. I hate when someone pretends to be stuuuupid, especially when they are very smart. Orji Uzo Kalu is the looter in chief. The real kind of people that Buhari should be putting in jail if he was sincere about fighting corruption. Is it just a coincidence that Kalu , under EFCC prosecution for N5b fraud, not only moved to the APC, but becomes one of the staunchest campaigners for Buhari's re-election ? And viola!!, Just like magic, his corruption case is closed. Even a child can see through the hypocrisy of Buhari, his lack of personal integrity and aiding and abetting corruption. |
ba7man:Tell me who is happy in Nigeria right now. |
In the media Buhari is fighting corruption. In ASO Rock Buhari is dining with corruption. Who is being decieved ? |
bamidelee:There is no concise way of trying to explain Ajeokuta Steel Complex as the biggest white elephant project in the history of the world, and the sheer folly of trying to revive it by a NEPOTISTIC government has proven to be good at absolutely Nothing. |
ba7man:I assume that you're just about 9yrs old, just able to read and write, but still incapable of critical thinking. Try this mental exercise , and see if it can provide some mental clarity for you. NEPOTISTIC government + incompetent president stuck in a 19th century mental time loop + 40yr old OBSOLETE Steel Complex with no technological efficiencies + $10b wasted in 40yrs + fiercely competitive industry + 21st century global market realities = Another Avoidable Waste Of Resources and Disasters Just Waiting To Happen. |
sarrki:Resurrecting a dinosaur is the gigantic mistake Nigerians made in 2015, and whose consequences everyone is still suffering. Now, the dinosaur is trying to resurrect yet another Extinct dinosaur to once again drain our national resources. The Ajeokuta Steel is the biggest white white elephant project in the history of the world. For almost 40 solid years, at the minimum $10b wasted, local and foreign debts invited. Yet not a single steel rollout. Now, the administration that is the personification of Nepotism, corruption and incompetence wants to resurrect a 40 yr old obselete steel complex in the 21st century. Performing the same act over and over again while expecting a different outcome is the clinical definition of Insanity. First of all, steel production is an industry of a bygone era. It is globally competitive that Most countries, even industrialized nations have given up the industry because only few countries have been able to adopt the technological efficiencies needed to produce steel profitably. Even in USA, the most technologically advanced nation, the nation's only major steel producer is on life support , requiring the government's imposition of huge tarrifs on imported steel as it's only hope of survival. Secondly, the era of government ownership of important industries is long long over. Of course, we forget that our president is a man that time forgot, still stuck in 1978 mental time loop. In Nigeria we have a federal government that has never been good at anything. In Nigeria, we are cursed with successive governments that could not and still cannot run a refinery, couldn't run a petrochemical complex, couldn't run an airline, couldn't run a rail line, couldn't run a shipping line, couldn't run a car assembly plant, Can't run a coal mine, couldn't run an Aluminum smeltering plant, can't run airports, can't run a police force, can't protect the citizens from daily massacres, can't even give a citizen a driver's licence within one whole year. This same federal government wants to revive and run a 40yr old steel complex (that already swallowed more than $10b over the past 40yrs) in this 21st century ? I can't stop laughing. One doesn't need to be a prophet to be able to see where this is heading, the mathematically precise inevitable catastrophe that lies in front of this misadventure. |
sarrki:If you had been born IPOB, you wouldn't be a BMC Zombie, cleaning up and carrying ASO Rock cow dung for a living, making N30k a month. |
MaziOmenuko:It is an Institutionalized culture because of the repeating pattern of rape and abuses that follow Nigerian soldiers everywhere they go within and outside Nigeria. |
johnmartus:Shut F up. The buck stops at Buhari's table. He is the president and commander in chief of marauding soldiers that rape starving women inside detention camps and IDPs. When will you silly people ask Buhari to take responsibility for anything ? If Buhari cannot take responsibility for issues that arise during his stewardship, then why is he president , and what is Nigeria doing with such a useless president ? |
BakireBulmaker:Of course. It's like building on a swamp( the state of power generation in Nigeria prior to OBJ). You can spend millions on dredging and the foundation, and yet no building in site. But Do you really expect these Zombies to think ? |
sarrki:Unbelievable . The infant mind of a Zombie. |
front2line:Here is another Zombie allergic to facts. How many times will it be repeated that the actual amount spent on these projects was $3.7b not $16b ? ![]() That $3.7b grassroots investment in the power sector was not only unavoidable, but is the very foundation upon which GEJ administration and the current Buhari administration stepped upon to improve the power situation in the country. Governance is a continuity. It is not an imperial conquest where you tear down everything from your predecessor. It is obvious that Buhari is extremely ignorant of how even basic governance and administration works. The only thing he understands is nama come, nama go. |
LordStranac:Lol |
Originakalokalo:Sharrap Dia. What do you know of God? Is being left-handed of God too ? What makes you blokes think that being gay is a personal choice that people make ? Is being left-handed also a choice that people make ? It amazes that while Christians commit every imaginable sin during the week, go to church on Sunday to ask for forgiveness, they unthinkingly arrogant themselves the prerogative to pass judgment on another sin of others, foolishly claiming that it is not of God . The hypocrisy is just amazing. |
Shedrack777:Makes a lot of sense. We seldom take a hard look at candidates for elective office. We prefer to join the bandwagon of party loyalty. Yet , it is the same set of bad political actors devoid of an ideology that jump from party A to party B just for self interests. For example, even though I think APC is a party of thugs and liars, I voted for Tinubu twice for governor, voted for Fashiola twice for governor, and will vote Ambode again for a second term. These men had shown examplary leadership in turning Lagos around from being the dirtiest, most unsafe and most disorganized megacity in the world to what is the now at least the safest city in Nigeria. No doubts there are genuinely progressive elements within the APC, but unfortunately, the party conceded it's progressive underpinning when it decided to baptize and whitewash Mohammadu Buhari for President. APC can still regain its progressive genealogy from the former ACN by simply allowing Buhari to be voted out of office and consigned to the dustbins of Nigeria's political history. |
jimrog:Kindly name a few abandoned projects that he has completed. No country that I know takes loans to supposedly pay N5k monthly stipends to select citizens. Loans are usually taken to invest in infrastructure, create jobs and spur economic growth. |
BlackAfrican:Comprehension Comprehension! The report indicates that Nigeria's debt has already increased from N12t in 2015 to N21t under Buhari. Yet not a single project can be seen to be started and finished in the last 3 years. |
HappyPagan:Jesus supposedly said that for those who have little, it shall be taken away to add to those who have more. I have always pondered on the meaning of what to me would seem very unfair. But in the light events in this era, I kind of get the gist. For those endowed with little brains ( the sheeple), those that have more (the con men) will take from them and add to what they( the conmen) already have. This encapsulates the story of Evangelical Christianity. |
Anwons:What am I reading ? I cannot believe that someone who can write good English sentences would entertain such a grossly barbaric and grossly primitive practice. Pls tell me that you're kidding. Is this a new form of eugenics ? Are people in Nigeria evolving or devolving ? If I call you a resident of Zoo, I'm 100% sure you will curse and rant. |
dre11:WTF ?? The RCCG Cult status is hereby confirmed. |
Tiwaz2:Idiott talk. ![]() Now, where have we heard this nonsense before ? ![]() Until African people stop entrusting their future destinies with leaders whose worldviews are anchored in stone age superstitions outside the boundaries of the laws of mathematics, the continent will continue to be the basket case of the world. Uncle Osibade is no longer selling his Unicorn Meat to his hoards of Zombies. He is now selling goddidit. ![]() Shameless leaders. |
Jaideyone:Governance is a continuity. Each leader continues from wherever the other left off,..the ultimate goal being to move forward for the benefit of citizenry. OBJ laid the foundations for much of what GEJ accomplished. GEJ also laid the foundations most of the infrastructural projects, especially in the areas of rail transportation and power generation currently being touted by the ingrates in power. It is only when dishonest people like you fraudulently resurrected this Jurassic dinosaur, this once failed leader, for his second missionless journey into leadership, that he proved once again, the folly of bringing an extinct dinosaur into a modern ecosystem. The result is catastrophy after catastrophy upon the landscape. Honest people like Timi Franks are not afraid to swallow their pride and admit publicly that they had made a grave mistake. Dishonest folks like you, on the other hand, unable to deal with your nagging cognitive dissonance, resort to all manners of ill logic to rationalize your dishonesty and hide your embarrassment for the Buhari disaster. |
Jaideyone:Liar. Regurgitating the same stale Zombie talking points. A true leader doesn't choose the economic conditions under which and for only which he would perform favourably. Only a coward, an ill- trained child , a person without an iota of integrity, refuses to take full responsibility for anything, his actions and failures. Only an incompetent leader would see $30b reserves left by a previous administration as insufficient. BTW, OBJ has reminded Buhari severally that he , OBJ, inherited only $3b in reserves, $38b in debt, and a completely delapidated economy. Under GEJ, the Nigerian middle class( the standard measure of economic progress) expanded year after year for the first time in more than 30yrs. He initiated massive infrastructure projects nationwide. GEJ ran a truly pan- Nigerian government. He strengthened our democracy. He, more than any other leader, committed the most funding to education, agriculture, national security and health. The economy grew year after year till 2015 when the Jurassic dinosaur came to power and started destroying the economic ecosystem. Only brain-dead Zombies call GEJ a failure in the face of the catastrophic failures of Buhari over the last 3 years. |
chinjo:That's the real question. Sharing our commonwealth like it was his own personal wealth, for a man who admits that he has no idea how to make money. Like Babangida, like Abacha, like Buhari. |
chairman00100:Just pity the kid. He is paid 30k per month to this dirty BMC work. That seems to be the only employment created by the Buhari government. |
Nigeria would have been worse than Somalia had he won the last election.
Anytime I hear stuuupid people regurgitating this nonsense, it leaves me with shock, wonder and sadness. Only very stuuupid and maleducated people have this uncanny and illogical ability to be able to compare present circumstances with a Hypothetical Situation, and use a hypothetical situation as justication or an excuse for the current failures of this administration. I am trying to imagine the level of embarrassment and cognitive dissonance that it takes to be continually regurgitating this illogical nonsense. |
Dalam0n:Comically ironic. |
saaron:Tinubu continues to fall mugu time after time for Buhari and his cabal. The funny thing is that Tinubu is touted as being very clever and politically shrewd and sophisticated. Yet, the certificate-less, medieval oligarchs in ASO Rock continue to use Tinubu's greed for power and self-aggrandizement to make a fool of him time after time. An even sadder irony is that majority of Southwest voters continue to delude themselves that Tinubu is fighting and scavenging for their collective share of the political crumbs falling out of the ASO Rock dining table. ![]() What an irony. |
HeyCorleone:Well Said. |
CSTR1003:Buhari is the sole genesis of Nigeria's problems since 1983 when he committed mutiny and treason against the government and people of Nigeria. Since 1983, Buhari and his gang of thieves plunged Nigeria into a trajectory of never ending political and economic catastrophies. Right now, from a historical point of view, the PDP era from 1999-2015, appears to be the Golden ERA of Nigeria's economic and political progress. What a very very sad irony that the same Buhari, the harbinger of famine and desolation, mysteriously came to further desolate this land . What a pity. |
