First, you're assuming that Buhari understands simply economics, which is he is completely clueless of.
Secondly, you assume that Buhari gives a rat's bottom about the welfare of any Nigerian other than his very very poor poor northerners, who are much much less equipped to take advantage of any economic opportunities than their southern counterparts. When the economy grows, those with the most opportunities are the ones who benefit and swell the middle class. In such cases ,as seen from 1999 to 2015, the Igbos, the Yorubas and other southerners greatly expanded their middle class.

Just as in his first Missionless Journey, Buhari's agenda has been to halt the economic progress and mobility of the overwhelmingly southern middle class, and then surreptitiously distribute our commonwealth to his economically ostracized Fulani brethren.

If you doubt this theory or think it's just the opinion of someone who doesn't like Buhari, kindly take your time to re-examine the economic and political agendas of Buhari from 1983-1985 , and then from 2015 to present.

Don't you consider it odd that Buhari wants to supposedly distribute $350b Abacha loot(his friend and benefactor) back to his northern brethren, instead of investing it on education or any other critical part the economy?
More puzzling is that his government is seeking $2b loan to fund the budget at the same.

Past,Present and Future have already happened. "Now" is the only exponential time. Every possible "DESTINATION" has already been happened. Before an individual is born,he/she has already decided on the type of experience he/she will have. These experiences are soley for Soul developments. Stress is a good way to develope and evolves, hence why most Souls choose to be born into poverty. We make these conscious decisions on Soul levels before subjecting ourselves to the human inferior level that wants to be rich at all cost. A poor man is more likely to be more evolved than the rich guy because of less distraction.

The worst thing is to be materially rich and poor on the sole level, and then have to come back to repeat it all over again. The poor guy has a lot of time to find the true meaning of life, meditate, get in tune with nature, channel good vibes, fall in true love etc ......... That is if he chooses.

I fail to see how this makes sense in light of all that we know.
In every country today, poverty and vice show a very strong correlation. Nigerian being the easiest example.

Therefore, I don't know how a poor man , whose entire life is devoted in eking out the barest of existence, is likely to be more spiritually evolved than a rich, contented person who has more time for study, contemplation and deeper reflection.
The poor man is more likely to be distracted his entire life and operate on the baser animal instincts than his rich counterpart.

Which law are you basing your argument on? You think this is Nigeria. People cannot be detained beyond a specific period only if they are thought to be of serious threat to the community, and only a judge can authorize that. A police officer can come up with his/her own law.

Immigration is different from police.

Canadian immigration can detain anyone indefinitely for as long as it is necessary to complete an investigation or to determine course of action.
In some cases, the detenees ask them to deport them instead of indefinite detention. I have witnessed it many many times.

The reason is quite simple. First, he wasn't charged or was on trial for a crime in a court of law. Therefore, the law enforcement agents have no obligations to share evidence with him until he is formally charged.
Secondly, they had to hold him indefinitely for 2 good reasons. First, they could not afford to release him into Canada because he was suspected criminal and deportee. No amount of surety or personal guarantee would be acceptable. Secondly, they could also not afford to deport him until they give him the benefit of doubts pending the completion of their investigations. Thirdly, because of legal challenges presumably from the suspect's lawyer, the immigration authorities were most likely constrained in taking any particular course of action.
