Logic Mind: if you start attacking anybody that says he hates nigerians, then you got a real mission in your hands.
even nigerians hate other nigerians.
when i went through the plane manifest, only the igbo sounding names elicited some emotion in me. i couldn't care less about the others.

What are you on about? That is a sad statement you made there.I don't care what tribe the deceased are from because i was not raised like that.Every human life is valuable to me.

*yawn* what do you expect when you vote a baboon into power? He does not have the intellectual capacity to govern let alone create jobs.He belongs in a zoo.The fact that he used the term "scientific farming" instead of "mechanized farming" should inform you that he is dumber than dumber and has no business in leadership. As a nation who claims to be a haven of intellectuals ,we have actually shown the world that we are fools who choose the worst amongst us to lead us.Welcome to the original definition of a banana republic where uneducated and unintelligent greedy thugs run the show.

What do you expect when you have a thieving pretentious thug as your president? Nigeria is a country where evil prevails over good and a failed experiment that will implode very soon.A good example is Dr Sign Fireman a shameless conman who gets police escort every Sunday from his house to his church.

The reality of it is that while the eko atlantic is a welcome project ,it will not really benefit the masses.Everything in Nigeria is always done for the big men and the corrupt politicians.Land will not be affordable in EAC and the cost of housing will be ridiculously high if what currently obtains in Lekki is anything to go by.I wish them luck but unless the prices of the homes there are reasonable i will pass.

PoliticsRe: Fed Govt, General Electric (GE) In $10b Power Deal by playmode(m): 5:11pm On Mar 26, 2012
Wallie: Contract and train Nigerians like they’ve been doing over the last several decades with nothing to show for it? How can you keep doing the same thing and expect different results? Even the government knows that help is needed to break the current cycle!

1. Between 1999 and 2007 Nigeria spent $15 billion on power. Can you please show me the result?

2. It is estimated that Nigeria will need about $10 billion yearly to meet the current power needs. Where exactly is the money going to come from? Out of which budget? As it is, the current government is getting rid of the fuel subsidy because it is putting a strain on the economy and you want them to make a $10 billion yearly investment? How much exactly do we earn from oil, yearly?

3. Lastly, I would say “what's more pathetic is seeing people who take overly simplistic views on issues!”
I will ignore your last statement for the sake of having a civil conversation. Are you saying that since GEJ has been in power , he and his cronies have not stolen as well as wasted more than $10billion dollars on irrelevant things e.g ?

Are you saying there no “QUALIFIED” Nigerian professionals that can be trained to perform well in the power industry?

Where will the money come from you ask, where does the money this cabal embezzle come from?

Like i said in my statement, it does not require rocket science just commitment. There is nothing simplistic about my view except that in Nigeria even the simplest things can be made to look like the most complicated thing on GOD’s earth. That is the Nigerian way. Small countries with little resources in Africa light up their country 24hrs a day but Nigeria will all it’s resources and intellectuals can not light up 25% of homes in the small towns.

We have one of the largest gas reserves in the world but our Lecturer President and his Professor Minister can not do anything with it. To them it is rocket science to use our Gas reserves to light up people homes.

We hire all these undeserving professors year in year with no result. Well the fact is there is no real commitment to the cause , just a hogwash tactic to keep fooling the sheepie masses. If I were in charge of the Ministry of power ,I will make visible and effective strides within 6 months. Action speaks louder than word and press conferences. We see all the BS stories and the dribbling has gone on for too long.

Gej and his team are a bunch of idiots who have no clue about how to change a tire talkless of fixing power, a student from yaba college of technology will provide better ideas than this Professor in power.
PoliticsRe: Fed Govt, General Electric (GE) In $10b Power Deal by playmode(m): 3:34pm On Mar 26, 2012
It is always so sad to see so called educated Nigerians go gaga over such news. Let me ask you guys one question ,how hard can be to build a power plant that we need to ask foreign firms to build one for us?

Generating power is not rocket science! All it requires is commitment, funds and a trained staff. The Nigerian Government makes a lot of money every year that if we want to build one new power plant per year we could do it. I am sick and tired of all this BS stories. We don't need GE or any other company to pay for our power plants. GEJ simply needs to contract an experienced company to build one for us and train the Nigerians who will run it.I also agree that any agreement involving Americans never bear any fruit, just some propaganda to get us all hopeful.

Our leaders just make Nigerians look stupid on a daily basis , we can not do anything for ourselves except we involve a 3rd party. We are still talking about 10,000 Megawatts when we actually need 170,000 Megawatts to effectively power Nigeria. We will never have change until we decide and commit to change. Shame on us.

I have always known that Oyedepo is a scam artist.Whether the news is true or not ,the fact that he has four private jets just shows how "criminal" and obscene the man is.I had the displeasure of attending his church's annex in South Africa and all i can say is that his followers are mildly put, stup!d.This is a church where so called church elders sleep with wives of their followers and deception as well as fornication is the order of the day. Most of the members in the church are known 419 fraudsters, drug dealers e.t.c The pastors are aware of this but are not bothered as long as they pay their tithes. One well known drug dealer even bought a brand new car for the pastor of the South African annex and the pastor accepted the car.

It is days like this that i really wish i was not born a Nigerian.I mean WTF? I know Nigerian police are silly but not that silly.

*Sigh* Honestly i give up on Nigeria,i have exhausted all hope that that country will ever function again. While i have no sympathy for this dumb cop,i do have sympathy for his family who have lost a loved one.

Stupidity aside ,the corrupt leadership of Nigeria is responsible for this mess.My prayer is that all the Evil politicians including this dumbo president of ours meet the same fate.I am seriously tired of what is going on.If i were to be in Jonathan's presence right now ,i will gladly put a bullet between his eyes.

Our leaders are a disgrace to us all. This video has gone viral on youtube and Nigerians are once again the laughing stock of the world.I hang my head in shame because apart from our food and music there is nothing to be proud in naija.

Now let us look at how this fatal blunder could have been averted.

1 : Once the suspicious sack was discovered ,they should have codoned the area off.
2 : Due to what is known about IEDs everyone (civilians) within that area should have temporarily arrested and their
   cellphones checked by forensic analysts.
3 : A signal jamming device should have been activated to jam cellphone, radio and remote control signals for over 1km
4 : All security personal should have been ordered to stand as far away as possible and carry armor plated shields which
will protect them from shrapnel should the bomb go off
5 : Bomb specialists should have been dispatched to remote control a bomb detection/disarming robot toinvestigate the bag.

If all the above had been done ,the death of that officer would have been averted.Worst case scenario the bomb detection robot would have been the only casualty.Secondly chances are that the culprit could have been found if the forensic analysts were able to link the cellphone, radios or remote control confisticated from any of the civilians that were temporarily arrested to the signal receiver found on the bomb.

Boko haram remains a serious threat but only because our silly president jonathan does not see it fit to fully equip the bomb squad in Nigeria ,an area that has been constantly plagued by violence and bomb blasts.Nigeria is not a nation but a jungle which has a government albeit a corrupt and heartless one.

Naija and inferiority complex grin

SA will laugh their azz off, if they get to read this news.

While we are hoping to topple South Africa, they are hoping to topple Korea.

Two strokes for the same folk.

Can we continue to give ourselves this false sense of hope?

Though the dream is realizable, but at the moment, I will rather classify it as a tall dream.

Tall in the sense that there is no engine to power the growth on the ground.

We keep on setting goals with no concomitant target or indicators to measure how far our goals have advanced.

I predict that we will run bankrupt in the next decade, the way the country is going
Don't dem o jare! Instead of mumu jonathan to go and deal with the issue of SA police invading our embassy he is busy dreaming of how to overtake SA.

Alien tech used to thin population: Claim

Alien technology is being used to thin the earth's population, the great-granddaughter of former United States president Dwight Eisenhower claims.

Laura Eisenhower was speaking on the sidelines of a UFO, science and consciousness conference in Johannesburg.

She said natural faults in the earth were being manipulated to produce catastrophes like tsunamis and earthquakes using Haarp technology or bio-weapons.

According to the website www.haarp.net, Haarp technology is a focused and steerable electromagnetic beam used to heat the upper atmosphere and bounce elecromagnetic waves back to earth.

Eisenhower said this was part of a secret agenda by a number of governments to decrease the earth's human population in favour of colonies on mars and the moon.

"Extraterrestrials have been working with governments for a while," she said, adding that treaties with the other-worldly beings were signed every 10 years.

This had remained fairly well hidden through mind-control and manipulation.

Contact with extraterrestrials was merely the result of an expanding consciousness that there was life beyond earth, said Eisenhower.

"As consciousness expands, we invoke and become more in contact with our universal family."

She said she was recruited by an agent in 2006 to take part in a mission to a Mars colony.

However, she was able to break free from the mind control techniques.

She said people had been teleported to Mars since the 1970s and that the size of the population there was continuing to shift and expand.

PoliticsRe: Former Nigerian Olympic Athlete Arrested For Murder In South Africa by playmode(op): 11:24am On Nov 20, 2011
The Big Dog with a savage bite

HE IS regarded as one of Pretoria's most dangerous men - the "go-to guy" if you want someone's legs broken or need protection via his company, Big Dog Security.

Earlier this month, former Nigerian Olympic athlete Ambrose Monye was acquitted of murder after beating a man to death. Now he is back behind bars in connection with the murder of young mother Chanelle Henning.

Monye has long been on the police's radar for his alleged involvement in drug dealing. But his latest brush with the law looks set to bring down the empire he has built over the past decade he is believed to have been in South Africa.

He competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games in South Korea.

Security industry sources told the Sunday Times that the muscular strongman went nowhere without his burly bodyguards and struck fear in the hearts of those who crossed him.

It's unclear when exactly he came to South Africa. He married a South African woman, Pontsho Khosholo, in 2001. Once a member of Tshwane's Metro Police, Khosholo has since died.

Investigators involved in the Henning murder probe are now trying to piece together how Monye ended up in South Africa and acquired South African citizenship, and if it was all done legally.

One of the main issues is his age. His ID number suggests he is 37 - which means he would have participated in the Olympics at 14 - but it's believed he is much older.

He is understood to own several properties, but not in his own name, and frequently travelled abroad.

He is described as aggressive and was acquitted on a charge of murder after beating a 48-year-old motorist, Neville Olivier, to death in 2009.

He successfully argued in court that he acted in self-defence against Olivier and his three friends.

One private investigator said Monye was known for having "a short fuse", saying: "He once rented a property in Pretoria and, in a fit of rage, damaged the property extensively and ripped out the airconditioning system , he is as strong as a beast and very dangerous."

Monye is registered under the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) as a Grade A officer - the highest possible qualification - meaning he can hold a directorship in a private security company.

While his company was meant to protect, he has had numerous brushes with the law. However, a number of assault and other cases against him seem to have gone nowhere.

A Pretoria-based private investigator said it proved "Ambrose bought himself protection in the police, [as] money was no object for this guy".

Celebrity private investigator Mike Bolhuis described Monye as the "kingpin of Pretoria's underworld".

"While a lot of the usual suspects in Pretoria's gangland have gone quiet over the past few years, Monye has simply gone from strength to strength. I know he has influence in the police and is untouchable," said Bolhuis.

Monye admitted being a muscleman for his clients and, in a sworn affidavit in April this year, said he acted as "protection" for 1980s Afrikaans TV presenter Visser du Plessis.

Du Plessis is now a diamond dealer in Pretoria, and Monye claimed in his statement that he was once his personal debt collector and bodyguard.

Du Plessis scoffed at the claim this week, saying: "I've only met him once, five years ago, and never used his services. But I do know of his reputation."

Controversial lawyer Peet Viljoen, who was recently struck from the roll because of fraud allegations, also admitted to knowing Monye.

He described him as "a very dangerous man".
