Herball:Cut the bull dude. What makes you think Bill Gaates gives a flying f*** about Nigeria's existence? ![]() For a start, the $1.8b donated by Gates is for the GLOBAL response, and not Nigeria alone. The money is part of the funds requested by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (total needed fund is $5.5b, btw), which is a consortium of many countries but spearheaded by WHO, UNICEF, CDC, etc. Are you trying to tell me they're all anticipating Nigeria's downfall? na so dem busybodi reach? Sure, I'll be the first to admit Gates apparent philanthropic donations to may not be as altruistic as it. He's well know for his population control predisposition and has elicited controversies in the past over statements made in support of it. but Gates, sponsoring terrorism?? Come on!!! |
jaz:No one takes him seriously. Let him continue wallowing in his delusions. smh |
awepluz:Well, to be sincere, its rather low, and may take considerable time for it to reach 1000. However, let me clealry state that you certainly do not need to have a CD4 of 1000 to live a healthy life; indeed Africans (i.e non-infected) are generally known to have lower cd4 values than their European counterparts. Currently, a CD4 value of 500cells/mcml is considered optimal. |
@OP, pls aviod all these unproven and potentially dangerous herbal preparations being peddled here. What you may have resistant species which usually occurs when initial treatment regimens are not taken as prescribed. Secondly there could be asymptomatic carriers within your household, who, though not ill themselves, can pass the pathogen on to others. A third possibility is chronic typhoid which occurs when the pathogen takes up residence in areas of the body that is difficult for antibiotics to reach. The gall bladder and peyers' patch (a type of lymphoid tissue) are usually implicated and can become a 'depot' from where the bacteria is released from time to time into the general circulation. I assume you mus have completed several courses of the quinolones (ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, etc) which are deemed the most effective class of drugs for enteric fever. In addition to keeping good hygienic practises, I would also advise you see a competent medical practitioner who will take complete medical history and order for an MCS to determine which of the antibacterial agents are effective. You may then be given a full course possibly up to two weeks of one or more medicines. If this doesn't work, then surgery may be recommended by the doctor. All the best. |
There is no cure for migraine, unfortunately. the current drugs only control it |
babestella:I honestly hope you are joking here. smh! |
This is just the beginning. With the decrease in oil proceeds, allocation to states will surely fall next year, leading to more of these news (since most states are literally 100% dependent on allocation for salary payment. we have an over bloated, inefficient, unnecessary and unsustainable workforce. That is the root of the matter. Turing it to an APC vs PDP will not help matters. |
juanmata:da fuq?? you gotta be kiddin me!!!! |
lol! the first 5 kweshuns will disqualify well over 70% naija singlemen ![]() |
maafen:You're assuming that there is only one correct pin, which is not true. At a given period, thousands, perhaps millions of valid 12 digit combinations will work. (i.e the number of possible outcomes is far greater than one). So the probability is not as low as that. |
GenBuhari:This man. . .just keeps getting worse. I would really love to engage you, fact for fact, but I know its futile effort. Your case is clear: denialism of a serious, almost pathological kind. I don't know what your discipline is, though its unlikely to be science or medical related, given the trash you put up as evidence. Does the name Peter Duesberg sound familiar to you? try googling it. He is/was far, far smarter than you are, perhaps one of the smartest denialist of his time. He came up with some pretty strong stuff that left the community scratching their heads for a while; but eventually, all the noise fell like a pack of cards in the face of compelling, peer reviewed, factual evidence. give it a rest dude. |
donbenie:No its not, not yet anyway. |

Citadelbot:Evidently a very well paid one given the ferocity of his anti-APC campaign. FG should start by sacking his kind if they really to conserve funds. ![]() |
lionduke:my kweshun too!1 ![]() |
jnrbayano:eziokwu!! ![]() @Topic, personally I don't find it attractive. Like most peeps have observed, its more common in slimmer ladies, and being a sucker for hips--I mean thick and heavy hips #teamNoGap ![]() |
me I no be economist oooooo, but Fashola's question doesn't look ignorant to me. comma plenty for this whole oyel business. Question: Are we to believe importers are still importing PMS, or crucially, AGO, at the same price now as it was circa May-June, when oil hovered over $100?? Can devaluation effects completely obliterate the reduction in price? If indeed it is there is a reduction in price, why hasn't the regulatory agencies, PPRA etc al, come in? BTW N971b was devoted to subsidy payment this year. . .where that money? SURE - P. . .hia make it leave that one ![]() |
I thought there was an injunction stopping the primaries? |
@all PLEASE IGNORE THE EVIL, IGNORANT, WICKED, UNFOUNDED, DANGEROUS, UNCONSCIONABLE, CALLOUS AND DOWNRIGHT IDIOTIC CLAIMS BEING PEDDLED BY THE CHARACTER GENBUHARI. IT IS TOTALLY UNFOUNDED AND WITHOUT MERIT WHATSOEVER. HIV/AIDS IS REAL ARVS CAN BE VERY EFFECTIVE WHEN TAKEN AS PRESCRIBED. ARVS DO NOT DESTROY THE CD4 CELLS, HOWEVER SOME MAY HAVE OCCASIONAL SIDE EFFECTS. THAT OF COURSE CANNOT RULE OUT ITS OVERALL BENEFICAL EFFECTS. PLENDIL MD, MPH, AAHIVM |
GenBuhari:PLEASE STOP DISPLAYING YOUR IGNORANCE. IT IS EVEIL AND WICKED ![]() |
applelady:God bless you, dear sister. You are absolutely right. HIV/AIDS is real, however usage of the prescribed ARVs can dramatically reduce viral replication and therefore prevent destruction of the CD4 cells (which HIV does). Through feedback mechanism, CD4 cells production will increase, though the rate varies widely in individuals. As very rough guide, one should expect usually 50 - 100 cells/ml every 6months. Pls ignore the falsehood being peddled by GenBuhari |
awepluz:It is possible, do it depends on the baseline prior to commencement of ARVs. What is the baseline value? |
GenBuhari:This old man. . .you have refused to take heed despite warning. BE careful. ![]() |
