Romance / Re: After Years Of Sleeping With His Girl, He No Longer Sees Her As A Wife Material by plendil: 12:53am On Mar 07, 2015 |
happyjuliet: Una go hear? My take is simple. Where the man is a hearltless, randy basstard, the lady is fooolish, brainless and morally bankrupt. She opened her legs willingly, over a thousand times - if OP's claim is to be believed - without any form of firm commitment from the man (marriage, introduction, etc) and now people are crying foul? 2 Likes |

WHATTT DA F&&&k?? IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! Just look at the way the lady parted her lips and seems ready to swallow(!!) some. . .stuff. Seriously anyone who doesn't find that pic disturbing should check him/herself. Like seroiusly check himself/herself |

PassingShot: Honestly the blinding inanity of it is stomach wrenching. Apparently, if OP's logic is anything to go by, the consenting voices from an handful of APC governors granted legitimacy to GEJ's action. #SMH 3 Likes |
Health / Re: Federal Government Spends 8bn To Fight HIV/AIDS In Taraba, Abia State by plendil: 8:30pm On Feb 24, 2015 |
The money is from world bank and its supposed to be accessed only when the Taraba government plays its part, as I understand - so called counterpart funding thingy. BTW there's nothing incredulous about the figures. |
Family / Re: I Can Beat My Wife And Yes, I'll Beat Her. by plendil: 8:15pm On Feb 24, 2015 |
incrediblestev: Well our airheaded female counterparts would have us believe otherwise. "Under no circumstance should a man raise a finger on a woman. Even if she insults him, spits on him or even gets physical, he must NEVER retaliate. He should ALWAYS walk away." See their long mouth. The fact remains, those who view violence as the only way of expressing their discontent with whatever situation should be prepared for the consequences. Its that simple. If the first assaulted party is able to muster the will to walk away without retaliation, good for him. Insisting, however, that that should be the standard, women having the sole right to inflict harm without expecting reciprocation is narrow-minded and hypocritical. Bottom line: Violence of any form is barbaric and should never be condoned or encouraged. Women do not hit your man, men do not hit your women. 7 Likes |

Interesting! It is, of course, his unassailable prerogative to associate with whomever he wishes - that it happens to be the party he so unrelentingly bashed is just an inconvenient coincidence. This to a large extent represents the imbroglio we face in the ideologically-bereft political space in Nigeria. The capricious cross-carpeting of political Yes, I will readily concede: it not a PDP or APC thing. It cuts across all platforms. What irks most is that they expect to be taken seriously after the change. Should they? I personally don't think so. 1 Like |

4C2215131: Intelligent research you say! That you lot actually take the trash OP posted seriously is the truly sickening and deplorable case here. Someone dropped from the moon and dropped ridiculous, poorly researched, baseless assertions as facts, with ZERO SOURCES, and some seemingly educated lads are lapping up the toxic trash. SMH for una! 1 Like |

OP your post reeks of poor, ignorant dangerous propaganda. No1: How exactly does this happen? No2: Do you know what styrofoam is? I doubt. Yes it has been found carcinogenic in animals, I'm not aware of it being used in the preparation of food. No 3: False, baseless, alarmist. No shred of evidence to that effect. No 5; The salt in the in the seasoning, not the actual noodle, tot he best of my knwoledge. No7, No doubt, Indomie, like all carbs can contribute to obesity if taken in excess. However the claim, 'indomie a leading cause of obesity' is as preposterous as they come. No8: Baseless and false. I don tire abeg 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Why Are Apc Supporters On Nairaland Liking And Sharing Foolish Comments .... by plendil: 9:27pm On Feb 06, 2015 |
I must confess, the rate at which the pro-GMB posts garner likes is pretty astonishing. But OP what exactly is a foolish comment? The quote below, for example, got over 500 likes in just about two days!! IS it foolish? When a President didn't understand that a thief is a thief regardless of the worth of the item he stole, what did you expect? You have to understand the psychology: the more a person's post is liked, the more likely he/she is to make a similar post in the future - to get more likes, and the cycle continues. |

Politics / Re: Open Letter To President Jonathan By Army Officers by plendil: 10:58am On Jan 31, 2015 |
Whether from the military or not, this letter surely contains weighty issues that must be verified. Who is this Major General J.A.H. Ewansiha? Can he account for the humongous expenditure in the military over the last few years? These are the questions I expect every Nigerian to be asking, rather than seek to politicise everything thing. 1 Like |
