Toluway: As early as that? I don't trouble myself trying to predict what Mr market will do next. Identity a stock with good value, set my entry price and when that happens I just buy provided there is fund available. Of course, the stock might loose some percentage in the near time but I will definitely be fine as long as the company is keeping up with my projected numbers when results are released. |

The market has a way of bringing back people to their senses. Just a little tweak and everybody is humble An opportunity for value investors to pick some good stocks at relatively fair price. Bought back DF today and also added more units of UCAP to my bags. |

onegentleguy: When I read comments like this, I just smile. ...Well I respect ur opinion my dear. I've always hated the very lazy approach of this administration. ...This present government is a misfit and I honestly disgust everything PMB. But hear this my dear; The only thing that will stop PMB from not been ur president come 2019, is if he fails/decides not to contest.
NOTE: Like I said, I would never wish for that but take it or leave it, its gonna be a sad reality. U may wish to bookmark this post for the sake of posterity. I concur with you my brother. The only person that can stop PMB in 2019 is buhari himself. That is the sad reality |

Investnow2017: I see some wisdom in this reasoning. It seems to me this is the right formula to apply in a situation like this to jijo right. Though somewhat risky, but for short term escapade, it seems reasonable to have this perspective. I am all for earnings in choosing my stocks as I cannot afford to put my money in an unproductive assets. At this stage of my life, I will be a fool to change my winning strategy to follow others just because Mr market is hysteric . However, I have to admit that we have many ways to the market, anybody is free to choose the one he thinks is good. |

currentprice: now i begin to worry about the mkt, all the fundamental stock have surpass currentprice system fairprice even FBNH. except access & uba
i don't play with my guide fairprice
though some said it is bull period so numbers doesn't matter. i wonder why the like of wapco , FO , PZ, UNILEVER, GLAXOsmith etc yet to double
with stock breaking fairprice, pullback is imminent soon, very very soon than what you expect,,, "BE WARN"
na like this we take pass DF message
note; not saying nse has reach high of the year. no but pullback is imminent for mkt breathing toward the result
post is not for long term investors , it for those willing to sell high for repurchase of more unit later
I guess you are looking at earnings to arrive at your fair price. The most popular now is book value and on that account people can argue that the likes of Diamond, fcmb, fbn are still cheap at current price. Are they right? Mr market think so for now : are they wrong? only time will tell. |

onegentleguy: Did u say sentiment? ...It's alright. ...We will sentimentally move on until we get close N1.5 then a break before N2 But I just wonder why the same sentiment is not driving with the same force even better fundemental and bigger coys like International breweries, Afriprud and Cadbury to mention just a few. The truth is that the sooner we all realise that it is not only fundamentals that can drive up a coy especially in this clime, the better for all of us. ...Just see how FBN has left behind him a far better coy like ACCESS. Some things are better left unsaid, but I'll advise anyone who cares to listen, to 'keep an eye on the price' ...our objective should only be channelled towards making more within any given timeframe. ...and no less than that.
Btw, we still continue to SKYE up the CAVERTON airline. ...we are friends with Mr TIME
NOTE: DD always advised pls. Share price is not all about FA. We have seen this before, a company with no verified address gained more than 200% in a month. I am not betting against Skye bank share price as we are in a bull era. Anything is possible. When and if they release their results we will know how far. Enjoy the bull ride. |

kokobaba: Similar to what is also driving Skye bank. Has huge exposure to the oil sector as well. If oil price gets to $80, then Skye will probably get to N2. just my opinion. due diligence advised What is driving Skye is purely market sentiment. The bank is probably having a -ve shareholders fund. They are yet to release result for more than 2 years. Caution should be the watchword here. |

They don't even tell anyone what they are buying until after they are done buying and the stock is doing well, That territory is for men of experience with gut. If you are still asking people what to buy, I will advise that you diversify a little bit. |
