@BOLD: Sure. But this is for Looters who may have escape before they were implicated to have massively looted the treasury. How do we go about recovering the funds and getting them to appear for trial.

NB: Reference to failed Umaru Dikko's experience and we try to avoid such backlash again.
Lol,
So you want to avoid botched Umaru Dikko's kidnap attempt? I thought you lots loved him for that. Let's assume you avoid the Umaru Dikko debacle,

How about the cancelled Metro Line project?
How about repression of media freedom?
How about the extra-judicial murder of Nkem Owoh, Ogendegbe etc?
How about others he unfairly put in prison, among others?

How do you avoid those? The simple answer is NO TO BUHARI!!
PoliticsRe: Looters Who Run Away - What Should Be Done? by PointB: 4:08pm On Feb 24, 2015
@Op,

The first thing that needs to be done in a democracy is to 'prove beyond every reasonable doubt' that the individual in question 'stole'. Subsequently let the law take it course. I believe the laws of the land has penalty for various crimes. Once the court gives a guilty verdict, it will be incompetence of highest magnitude to allow such fellow abscond from justice.

That is how it is done in mature democracy!

If OBASANJO can dump PDP for APC, barcanista has done the right thing to dump APC for PDP...... Mcheeeeew
Obasanjo actually represent one of worst (politically corrupt) PDP members. If Obj, Atiku, Saraki can find comfort within the APC while Marwa, Ribadu move the other way to PDP, what does that tell you?

It tells me PDP is CHANGE and TRANSFORMATION, while APC has become public toilet for rejected, failed and corrupt politicians! Brooms are supposed to cleanse, but the APC brooms are rather pollution enhancer!

It's such a shame!
PoliticsRe: Why The Untoward Attack On Barcanista By APC Agents by PointB: 1:22pm On Feb 24, 2015
I wonder why some APC folks are so petty. The guy has decided not to support APC again for reason of your hypocrisy and deceit. Who will feel confortable supporting APC when the core of the party centers around Tinubu, Atiku, Obj and several fail PDP politicians? How can such and evil congregation be 'change agent'? When the worse of PDP find home and comfort in your gathering?

I bet Barcanista got tired defending the indefensible; and had to act to protect his sanity!

God bless you, my bruv pointB.

Same questions I have always asked: What would happen to some of the very important reforms that are already going on if (and God forbid) Buhari wins.

Has any body ever heard either Buhari or APC address this crucial issue?? Or are we going back to the same reason why nigeria has really never made continuous progress after mote than 55 years of nationhood?? A
Will we be going back to Yar'adua all over again??

This was the most important reason why I wanted the debate to hold. But guess who ran away from it??
God bless you too my brother.

Obviously, Buhari and his party men are playing Nigeria for a fool. They are building what is called 'plausible deniability.' If Buhari does not debate or elucidate his program, it then means that in the unlikely event that he wins, he can't be held accountable. We keep hearing of some APC manifesto, pray which APC state has implemented this manifesto and what difference has it made?

Buhari needs to explain to Nigeria public, via debate what his agendas are, and how he intend to pursue them. Anything short of that is disingenuous and akin to political corruption!

The many contradictions of Buhari .
- He will fight corruption but Tinubu is his friend.
- He will give us security but he was pushed out of office like a chicken by his subordinates.
- He is honest but lies about his qualification.
- He has no N 27 million to buy presidential nomination form but the wife has N 135 million worth of drugs to donate.
- He is poor but all his children schools abroad.
- He will fight terrorism but sees others fight against terrorism as anti-north.
- He will help the youth but is never known to have helped a single almajiri even in Daura.
- He will fix the economy but has not even basic rudiment of economics.
- He will fix education but is unschooled himself.
- He wants to benefit from democracy but overthrew a democratic government.
- He obtained school certificate but cannot produce "the certificate".
May God protect us from this hypocrite.
Above all, he is a half star general who built his entire military career on fraud, falsehood and kwaruption! Tufiakwa............ No wonder honest people like the Great Dim of Biafra avoid him like people avoid leprosy.
A bundle of contradiction and hypocrisy right from the onset, packaged as 'change'! How can an aged, sickly ex-president represent change? Only in Nigeria and only to those equally yoked in deceit and hypocrisy!

Brother, I tell you that Jonathan is the new face of PDP. The old faces that has been since 1999 are now the APC with Buhari as a "front". These same people can't bring any positive change. We can change within the "New" PDP
Glad you realize that before it was too late. I have consistently maintain that my support is for GEJ not for PDP.

Once upon a time, Nigerians yearned for a PDP without the likes of Atiku, Obj, Anenih, Saraki, Bode George, and host of others. As we speak, that dream is getting closer to reality. The least we could do is to support the man who caused it to happen, by refusing to play to the whims of Godfathers and their arm-twisting.

Now realising that PDP reforms mean bad business for them, they have turncoat and join forces with Tinubu, Atiku, Obj. Suddenly APC is now a party of strange bedfellows, a tag synonymous with PDP not too long ago. I only wonder how Atiku, Buhari, Tinubu, Obj, Saraki and co get along in their unholy alliance against the elect!

PoliticsRe: Why Should I Vote For APC In 2015? by PointB:
Gradually the 'Sai Buhari' minions are beginning to ask the right question?

Let me ask them more:

This is campaign season, we have heard severally from the APC VP candidate, whose office and effectiveness is what the president desired it to be - mostly figure head!

What have you heard personally from the one contesting for Presidency? What economic policy has he taken his time to espoused? Or you forget that the man who doesn't promise anything cannot be held accountable?

Flash back to the Yar Adua era. Shortly after Yar Adua won election what did he do? Within a year he's cut off completely from Obj, form his kitchen cabinet and began a systematic reversal of Obj's policiesm, reforms, and programs. What is to say Buhari will not do same?

- Will Buhari continue with rail expansion, linking the state capitals as planned by GEJ?
- Will he continue to maintain federal road as done by GEJ?
- NEPA has been unbundled, sold and fund made available to investors to expand generation. Does Buhari support this of has other plans?
- What will be the fate of Second Niger bridge and Lagos-Ibadan express way?
- How will he tackle Boko Haram and potentially militancy in the Delta?
- Will Buhari maintain Nigeria position of not signing EPA in it's present form?
- Will he carry on with the Osibanjo's idea of reducing tariff on imported vehicle therefore reversing the gain of Auto policy? Or he has other idea?
- What will be the fate of Agric reform, vigorously placed in high pedestal by GEJ regime through the Agric Minister?
- IPPIS is the payment platform responsible for eliminating ghost workers from the federal ministries, what is going to become of it?
- How about the just concluded national conference? Will Buhari work for its implementation? Or would there be another conference?
- Even if he intends to fight corruption, how will he go about it?
- Are you not worried that Buhari certificate problem has not been transparently dealt with?
- And how about FOI, will he push state to adopt it? How?

Sadly Buhari is not talking, he's not saying what he would do! I sense he doesn't have full grasps of the issues he's coming to tackle!
Yet his mindless minions are just shouting 'Sai Buhari' all over the places, while his handlers are shielding him hard questions and debate!

Those APC fans bold enough to asked the right questions are being hounded, as the Op will soon realize!

GEJ has been less than stellar, but history shows us that Buhari is no better, he's actually worse! Be wary, less you jump from warm water in fire!

Again those who reject gentle approach should read:
10 So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking for a king from him. 11 He said, “These will be the ways of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them to his chariots and to be his horsemen and to run before his chariots. 12 And he will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and some to plow his ground and to reap his harvest, and to make his implements of war and the equipment of his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive orchards and give them to his servants. 15 He will take the tenth of your grain and of your vineyards and give it to his officers and to his servants. 16 He will take your male servants and female servants and the best of your young men[a] and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take the tenth of your flocks, and you shall be his slaves. 18 And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”
Fortunately, it shall not be, because Buhari will lose again!

PapiWata:
It is sobering to realize that the Niger Delta occupies FIVE times the number of square miles comprising Viet-Nam's infamous Mekong Delta, a watery labyrinth that proved too much for the technological might of the US military, whose PT boats and foot patrols were ambushed relentlessly by the elusive, wraith-like Viet Cong jungle fighters, many of whom were born and raised literally afloat in those deadly waters and forests.

Boko Hari's boastful claim that he can "contain" the Niger Delta militants when pigs learn to fly, is yet another of the amusing statements credited to that ailing geriatric fundamentalist, Paaaa Boko Hari, as he embarks on his most recent quest for certified failure at Nigeria's presidential polls.
That is why some of us laugh when ignorant folks claim Buhari will contain the militants militarily. The best solution is to sue for peace, not to fight. When one bomb goes off in the Delta, experience tells us that many more will follow, and then it becomes free for all. Our military cannot afford two fronts - terrorists in North and sabotage in South!

Nigeria can survive another four year of fight Boko Haram, but I doubt it wont survive one year with oil from the Delta! Now throw both in the mix and let's see if Nigeria will survive 6 months!

Vote wisely!

Show me, how many developed countries in the world depend on oil?
With proper diversification of the economy, oil will only be an addition. If the agricultural sector alone is properly managed, a country can grow and develop.

So stop being a prophet of doom. Buhari will shed tears of Joy and victory, come May 29, 2015.
Nigeria is diversifying, but it's not yet fully diversify! And I'm afraid Buhari does not have the know-how to lead this diversification:

GEJ has started Agric transformation, Industrialization via Auto Policy. He's pushing for local content, while privatizing power and investing in rail transportation. That's how diversify the economy!

Buhari is promising to pay unemployed and indigent with which money? And how is that diversification?

Am not a prophet, let alone of doom!

But it doesn't require prophecy to see how things will pan out if Buhari becomes president and Niger Delta militants decides to pay the core North back by sabotaging pipelines.

You my friend might even lose your job to the crisis, and may not be able to afford data bundle to post a word of condolence for Buhari who will be weeping then!
