PoliticsRe: We Lack The Capacity To Prevent Corruption In Nigeria – Okonjo-Iweala by PointB: 2:29pm On Feb 18, 2015
Thankfully, the institution are now being put in place.

IPPIS, ewallet, FOI are some of the 'institutions' put in place by this GEJ administration to check corruption!

**For those who don't understand what institution refers to!
PoliticsRe: The Gospel Of Change According To "Saint" APC by PointB: 10:57am On Feb 18, 2015
I am surprised the Op didn't see this (APC) hypocrisy all along. Very surprised!

If all there is any party representing, it is the PDP!

PDP has effectively ousted many of their old and deadweight members, who in turn have moved to APC! Effectively, PDP is changing for better, while APC is being polluted by the day!

A party that has Obj, Tinubu, Atiku, Saraki, Germade, and co, surely can never be said to be better than the one with Anenih and Edwin Clark. So what change is APC blarbing about? I think it's change for the worse!

PDP has a few rough edges, while APC is a congregation of the most vile ex-pdp creatures!

VOTE Wisely!

Useless find!

reporter1:
Dude you are trying to rationalize the mindset of crooked people which you cannot. Jonathan walks in the circle of the most evil people in Nigeria. People that would do anything to perpetuate power.

Let me help you with the "merit" aspect. Jonathan is afraid of what Buhari will do if Buhari wins.
Yes oo. People like Obasanjo, Tinubu, and Atiku! cheesy grin

I Hope they don't hunt him down. These people behave like cult members that have taken oath somewhere.

I just pity that imo tout that call herself girl.
Those people only congregate in furtherance of their hypocrisy! Once you start having a mind of your own, you become an outcast! Beyond that, they are usually lily-livered!

Desola:
Abegi shut your garbage guts! We were all here when beaf bought you with peanuts so don't come here forming angel! Anything to do with PDP was cooked from the deepest and the hottest part of hell and you are one of such product!

All of you are paid hacks!
lol, comical as usual.
If there is something I won't forget, it was the knockdown Gbawe gave you when you fell out of line. Barcanista wasn't born then, I'm sure he would have learnt a thing or two from that encounter. What was one of those names he called you - Omo alata, right? wink

Glad to see you've gotten over it; I know how hard it was for you then. cheesy

When a wood insect gathers stick, on its head it carries it!

Barcanista joined the dark side, what does he need with light? I wonder if the APC (folks) can offer him any security guarantee now that he's fallen out with their (APC) nairaland boss!
PoliticsRe: APC Will Slash Tariffs On Imported Cars -osinbajo by PointB: 11:46am On Feb 13, 2015
ebdib:
Please I don't want editorial and newspaper accomplishment.

How many people use those cars?
And by the way do you need to increase import tariff in order to encourage local manufacturers?

That's like robbing peter (in this case the masses) by forcing them to buy cars that are not durable.

@pointb
So in order to prevent a child from having bad teeth you ban all candy stores or increase price of candies so their parents can't afford candies right?
GeJ logic.
Twisted as usual.
Who is talking about the child's teeth?

How is the candy competing with the child's growth? Buhari logic. Clueless as usual!
PoliticsRe: Ibrahim Garuba Wala Rescued 500 Nigerian Schoolgirls From Boko Haram [Photos] by PointB: 8:24am On Feb 13, 2015
The girls I see in the picture looks a tad too excited for me. They don't look harassed, afraid, let alone traumatized. Looks like they are going for an excursion.

Even the 'rescue team' don't look vigilant.

How can I believe this story?
PoliticsRe: APC Will Slash Tariffs On Imported Cars -osinbajo by PointB: 8:15am On Feb 13, 2015
ebdib:
I have one question for you.
How do you protect a ghost industry?
Isn't it logical to first get the local manufacturers up and running first before increasing tariffs?

The GeJ government is an anti people government. Even though I don't support buhari.
How do you mean ghost industry? Where you a ghost when you were a baby?
PoliticsRe: APC Will Slash Tariffs On Imported Cars -osinbajo by PointB:
Obiagelli:
What gains if i may ask? Nigeria is a huge market and infrastructure (power) is the biggest incentive to kick start any sector not increased tarrifs.

We have outrightly banned frozen chicken but it hasn't helped our local production as 80% of what you find in the market today is smuggled in.
I suppose you have evidence to support this claim.

If partisan politics have blinded so much so that you don't even appreciate the fact that Nissan, Kia, Hyundai and co setting up assembling bases in Nigeria is a gain on its own, there is noting I can say to convince you.

But I believe neutrals will understand that fact that those car manufacturers are very much aware of the power situation in the country, and would have done extensive feasibility studies and SWOT analysis before setting up their factories. They would not need a partisan 'Obiageli' to advise them. Similarly, Nigerians who will be directly and indirectly employed by those wouldn't be bothered about how ignorant folks will seek to belittle their gains.

A country that keep looking for diversification shouldn't be reversing revolutionary ideas. This tariff slash pledge is evidence that APC don't have idea how ambitious the country is!
PoliticsRe: APC Will Slash Tariffs On Imported Cars -osinbajo by PointB: 8:07am On Feb 12, 2015
Slashing the tariff is policy somersault that will set the hand of time backward. It will erase the gains of the automotive policy

What a sensible politician will do is to find a way to simulate production, not to encourage importation!

maclatunji:
Looking for PDP manifesto for this Presidential Election, do you have it?
Not really.

But I prefer to hear from the candidates themselves, rather than some coloured articles which the candidates wont bother to read. I mean the one who can actually read, not the semi-illiterate still struggling with school cert (or lack of it).

Hopefully, we'll see them debate!

emmasege:
Of course he would campaign for APC, that's where he would easily blend. He'll be irrelevant in PDP because he didn't go to school. His level of intellect & communication is best appreciated in APC where he has his likes (illiterates & educated illiterates)
Ouch! That's below the belt! cheesy grin
PoliticsRe: Yoruba TV/Movie Super Villain 'Fadeyi Oloro' Campaigns For APC by PointB: 2:29pm On Feb 05, 2015
Lol.

'Fadeyi Oloro' indeed!

Anyway, there is nothing wrong campaigning for a loser; everyone is entitled time wasting!

PoliticsRe: Buhari Not Attending ChannelsTV Debate by PointB: 10:44am On Feb 02, 2015
If Buhari is running from embarrassment, does that suggest there is something he's embarrassed about and can't face or explain?

Does it perchance have anything to do with his certificate forgery and perjury? tongue tongue
PoliticsRe: Buhari Not Attending ChannelsTV Debate by PointB: 10:40am On Feb 02, 2015
I think Buhari has no developmental agenda or lack the cognitive skills to bring them to fore - either way he's bad business for Nigeria.

At this point, Nigerian has settled for continuity!

We reject the unlettered senile one!

PoliticsRe: Court: No Troops For Elections by PointB:
It's all depends on how government choose to implement troop deployment.

Troops don't need to be deployed for election, but they can be deployed due to 'unspecified and classified' intelligence report on potential terrorist operation. That it coincided with election date is simply coincidental! wink

all i keep seeing is "did he asked"

GEJ has given stark illiterates the mouth to meddle in a discourse that is intellectually out of their league.
Stark illiterate she might be, but I believe she's far better a communicator than Buhari!

In any case, I would look beyond her stark illiteracy to her stark warning!
