NGpatriot: The rest of the world is collecting taxes fro Amazon shipments, but when it comes to Nigeria, it is stupidity, Nigeria should be the only mumu country in the world not collecting taxes from Amazon.
Even Americans pay taxes on Amazon goods..
UK collected half a Billion pound in taxes from Amazon, so, are they stupid in the UK?
The stupid comments I read here is deeply embarrassing.
Is this hatred of country or just plain ignorance? Amazon is domiciled in US and UK... U tax what u see, Nigerians r pay duties already from goods shipped thru these NRCs, trying to come up with another useless tax will be solely on Nigerians. Will firs staffs travel to US to get these tax? |

fkj950ax: Which Amazon or which AliExpress.
All they are doing is increasing the cost of transaction of Nigerians. These companies will just add a 6% NGA Tax on transactions originating from Nigeria at checkout. Collate the sum and give NG Govt. It's not coming from their profit. Help me tell those idiots clapping for buhari. |

Eriokanmi: I may not like apc but this is a welcome development. But why did they sleep for so long? It would have been better if aliexpress or amazon have outlets in Nigeria. But laslas na Nigerians go still pay and our impoverishment go continue. Amazon won't be liable for this stupidity from buhari, the worst that can happen is these nrc to stop shipping directly to Nigeria, which will inturn affect us and also increase the prices of thesewares we ship from abroad. Just like we r using vpn to access twitter. We go now use ghana route to bring in phones into Nigeria. |

nrexzy: Glad u know.... In the 90s how much was bread, mineral, etc U dont expect the govt to regulate prices of locally produced food items cos it is done on individual bases... Now lets use this xmas period for instance... Was it the govt that increased the price of food items, transportation etc Was it the people that introduce VAT to almost every commodity? Is it the people that fail to secure their lands and gave the bandits opportunity to start adminisrering governance and collecting taxes from those communities? Is it the people that made security agents mounting road blocks all over Nigeria turning themselves to revenue collecrors? Am talking of 2015 garri was 7cups for 100naira, in less than 3months it went up to 3cups 100naira. What happened? Did nigerians stopped farming suddenly after buhari came in? |
Politics › Re: Buhari To Seun Okinbaloye: I Don't Know How Correct Your Calculation Is by poiZon: 9:04am On Jan 06, 2022 |
nrexzy: U dey US.
U know how many years US dey?? U dey hear slavery wetin u think say em use slaves do And u think nigeria is devoid of slaves? Those herders that they pay 3thousand naira monthly isnt that slavery? Bobo u no wise, stop forming commando because of tarty tausand. In US less than 3percent population are farmers feeding the entire country and also exporting. Agriculture isnt for the poor, a poor man can't invest in agriculture cause it is a long term buainess. Most cash crops r perrenial, others that r annual takes 3 to 4 months to yield. Between those months u need to do serious job and apply neccessary stuffs so u can get the require yield. Don't come here and start forming intelligent when in actual sense u r worse than buhari interms of reasoning. |

nrexzy: Advance economy u say... Have u actually understood how those country economy works or u just follow what u see on social media
The issue we have is that we were so bent on oil alone we forgot to develop and strengthen other sectors of our economy.... Its just too sad to know we technically import almost everything even palmoil So in 2011 when garri was selling at 200naira for 1pail were weimporting it? Was it not nigerians doing the cultivation and processing? What u should be askingis what happened that things went up crazily under buhari. People r still farming, infact the number of people farming now has increased yet cost of feeding is skyrocketing. |

Buhari's ratings are already low in Arewa, he wants to cement his legacy as a disaster. Nothing will happen baba. Infact nlc will have 2 factions, one being controlled n projected by govt to cause division in their union. The govt faction will totally support govt actions and accept any form of palliative thrown at us. After 5days of littering , loitering n toiling around major streets in Nigeria, una go return back to ur homes. Baba will jet out to dubai to attend security submit organised by islamic scholars. |

If u can absolved the fed govt from the rot in the system, i think the state should be given appropriate autonomy to to control and administer its territory. Give them state police, give them their resources to control, give them control over electricity generation, distribution and transmission. Then we can now start blaming states |

wirinet: It all depends on expectations and standard of living, meaning type of house and neighbour you live. Mode of transportation. If you use personal car as the OP proposes, you will spend more than 60k on petrol alone, and we are not talking of car maintenance yet. Nepa bills nowadays is competing with house rent. etc. Life is a journey not a destination. The 80k salary isnt static but will be subject to review from time to time. They r people who earn 500k but don't have their own personal house. They r people who earn 70k but living moderate n comfortable life. |

Jatuski: A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari and the party's Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, to propound a pathway to the party ahead of the 2023 general election.
Hon Obahiagbon, gave the charge Monday in Abuja, in a letter of commendation to the Chairman Caretaker committee and Yobe state Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni.
The former legislator further advised that personal and selfish interests must not override the interest of the party.
"The party interest is more paramount than parochial and self centered agitations from a microscopic few" he said.
He said "the facts are indubitably too plain to be contested Your Excellency, that our great party was largely fractious and tottering at its perilous precipice and brinks, when both destiny and history beckoned on you to provide durable leadership for us all.
"It's the considered opinion of the majority of our party members that Your Excellency has not just only steered the party away from avoidable cataracts and icebergs but that you have also enviably returned our party to its winning ways and glorious path" he said.
The legislator said the inspiring leadership style and consultative approach of the Chairman in addition to the "coruscating humility, visceral connectivity with the rank and file of the party and disciplined inter personal skills has commended itself to all and sundry." Buhari entered the year with confusion caused by a party man. |
