stuffs2002: People like you are the problem of women.
How do you know the women is happy. How do you know she doesn't cry herself to sleep every night. Even if she is happy and "fulfilled' as you say, what is the percentage of happy and fulfilled' single women like her My friend, to start with, that's a a 61 year old woman - she looks 31. That's the first sign she doesn't cry herself to sleep every night. Stress ages people. If she were married she'd probably be looking like an old hag. She built a solid career as a sought-after political pundit - a very satisfying position to be in if you ask me. Marriage is NOT for everybody. Even relationship is not for everybody. That's what people miss. Nothing is more important in life than life itself. Appreciate the fact you have life and live and enjoy yours the best you can - marriage or no marriage! And BTW nobody is "evening newsoaper". Pure utter bull crap. People find their ideal partner at any point in life, while for some there is no such thing. Marriage is fine, but people should not let themselves be tricked into letting their happiness hinge on any man-made artificial imposition like marriage, or let such prevent them from fully living and enjoying their lives! Doggedfighter no mind Stuffs2002. Let people breathe! |

Luther0luther: Guy, you're in tech, you can always live the dream! You should begin to work out how to secure jobs from the Americas ,working in Nigeria remotely. You will live like a king. Anytime you like, you travel to these locations for vacations ,flex small and come back. Guy, don't believe the hype o! With enough money, you will get that type of life even here in Nigeria.
Finally, if you're single, you can take your chances and see for yourself . If you're married with children, you an also take your chances . At the end of the day, it should be what works for you . You may like it ,you may not.
Life na once! So if you dey feel like to go, no listen to anybody. Ticket don dey your hand, make your move. I do sincerely wish you all the best! Thank you soo much. But if it were that simple don't you think everybody would be doing it? I am not married and I really crave travel and adventure. You can almost say the ground is burning under my feet!😁 |

Kingstanding: Listen, the guy did not mention Germany, Netherlands or Schengen countries ok. He said if you package yourself very well, seek asylum in Canada,US or UK which I'm very sure the guy is right. How can you compare English speaking countries asylum to non English speaking countries. In UK the government don't put asylum seeker in camp for your information. I once lived in Amsterdam in Netherlands i know what I'm saying before relocating to Birmingham city in UK. If you wanna seek for asylum make sure you get visa and seek the asylum in the first country you arrive and better best seek it at the point of entry believe me UK will grant your asylum if you package yourself very well. In Canada you don't even have to do that - that is, you don't have to get visa and seek the asylum in the first country you arrive. See below

It’s not all doom out there…. No one should fool you. Otherwise we would have seen droves of Nigerians abroad return home.
Look around you and count the number of Nigerians abroad that returned to settle…. The answer is right there Not necessarily. Many Nigerians get rich right here in Nigeria |

viodemus: Even during war, Ukraine's fire service, medical team, road and rail network, and electricity is still far better than anywhere in Nigeria.
The moment you leave Nigeria to say uk, us, canada, Australia, new Zealand (very under rated); you will expand in knowledge. If you notice, most of these countries send their own people to various countries to go expand their wisdom.
So, if you have the chance and a plan, go.
Over 45 or 50, it will be hard to fit in, train for a career, and go through the rigors of survival in a new country; except you have support.
Portugal, Bulgaria, Greenland, Iceland, new Zealand, and places like these are underrated. Language Barrier in some of these places, but these are great places that can fast track your success.
Without all that, you can still survive in Nigeria. Well said. New Zealand is indeed very underrated |
