When he asked for help, why didn't people ask him to prove that his child was sick?

Nope....Those who wanted to help helped, those who wanted to scroll past, did so

Now someone came to say he transferred the money into a bet account...Yes, I agree that's suspicious, but does this automatically mean his child wasn't dying?

Can you remember that this same guy first came here to tell us of how someone helped him on this thread, and we thanked the anonymous person?
Did he beg anybody then? Nope

I don't know how we would have felt if that child died, knowing we could have helped but e fit be scam

I shock with the way we take drag the guy sha.

But then, nsogbu adiro grin
Boss I can't speak for everybody, but for myself, I've seen much to feel enough in life... during this period when I was trying to gather house rent, I have like borrowed 250k scattered in people hands, at a point I vow never to borrow anyone money again, the most shocking part is someone that is owing me offer to borrow me some money grin you need 10k, pick up ur phone and call 5 friends, let's see if you won't hear the story of Nigeria amalgamation. One thing life have tot me about staying happy, you will have to off logics often, you have to over look things and let go a lot.... I often tell my friends, I am wit you because I am with you, not that I can't put up with other people, so I don't have that time to check yor loyalty, if u have the intention to k*ll, just know you will succeed, but you didn't k*ll me, u only k*lled urself. So for that reason I do things freely, but once u start making me to crack my head or ask why, I won't sweat such situation again, I'll just off.

Let me share a story of letting go and finding peace, tho it have to go with instinct. On sat, I was Ard foreshore 2 gate when this request came in, she was going to awolowo Rd. I don't care as I just have to put some tin in pocket, on getting to her, she entered the car and ask if I have 1200, she need to pick pizza... me! Look straight, u must have mistaken me for Tojahh? I don't have kobo with me here, she put up all sign's of frustration as me I have already start trip before the whole wahala. She alighted from the car and told me she's coming (tho from r steps, I knew she's up to sometin), waited for 10 mins and called her what's happening? Oh! I forget u r still outside, please end the trip and send ur account grin me! Send text and ask her to get life, this is not the best she can b (as per d signs of weekend olosho was written all over her). So I drove off instead of going to knock at her gate over 400 in bid to teach her a lesson, not too long a request came in from dolphin, had a bit of rough tone over d phone with the rider over asking him destination , but I have to calm down as I get to understand the person behind d phone will b ard 50... He entered the car, destination Awolowo, we end up spending 2 hrs together sitting in my car gisting, he tried all he could to school my and ask me to take my car off uber, the potential he's seeing his worth more than this. I get to learn he have 3 houses and business in ikoyi, Royce, wagon to his name, no b say he say, I saw the cars except Royce. I just got home thinking if I have spend the beta part of my time fighting that girl, nah so person go miss this wonderful chat and re-evaluation.

BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by pope191:
Sometimes I feel most of the things I read here r not real or just for joke, cos it's hard to believe in the world of common sense.

@JPWorld I don't understand your issues with some people here, but I feel love conquers all nd needless they say.

@MadamRad, you've always had my utmost respect and you will always have it, tho they are things I don't agree with in some of your view, but that's my opinion.

There's a need to clear this as Crvrider said about other persons that may need help... So it doesn't matter who help Mr Vision or not as not putting this issue straight may discourage others next time.

I honestly have no business with the whistle blower, I am not just please with the way Mr Vision handled or is handling this issue. I remember asking him to at least drop a name for certainty yesterday, but that was ignored, there is no big man in seeking for help, the moment you start making me to crack my head unnecessarily in bid to help, I'll just put everything to rest and move on (Person no deh small on top em tin).

Secondly @Vision2045, we most know how to do things in life, you came here and mention for everyone to help you, but thank Madam Rad alone, I have no problem with that, probably she shock you with alert, hope you know the rest people that sent money, b it 1 naira are as important as her, so I see no reason to single out in generalisation... Peeps like me is completely broke after paying house rent and still have service charge to put up with, last week wasn't funny, I was at the mech place on Thursday to fix car, enter road on Friday, car still jerking while in lekki, can't work, had to call one of us here that I need to call it a day, cos I can't use this car to work. I took the car to mech place on sat and wasn't able to drive to satisfaction after fixing (Like I'm facing buying another gearbox now), with that burden on my mind, I saw ur post and told myself, there is never a stress free time to help... I don't drive on Sunday's, but just to raise some fund for you baby, I decided to use the proceed of my Sunday hustle for that purpose. All I am trying to say is some people may have sent you their last kobo, you don't know the intensity or how far one can go so save a life.

Now, this is how issues like these r been done, its called accountability, you as a man with honour need to give a feedback on how much you were able to raise +/- and how judiciously you were able to make use of the funds... it's not for today, but for the sake of tomorrow, that thing they call name, always keep it clean. Nobody holy oo

Either the guy is wrong or right, what you are facing now is simply inability to b accountable... a treatment of 300k is not come and take injection and go, at least copy hospital picture only and show, if you are so quick to show us your family pix, why is the need taking this long? I'm not the type that jump into conclusion as I believe they r many sides to a story.

And at Madam Rad, I'll still apologise not to take words thrown at you here into heart, really I feel bad and speechless to see things get this bad... like I said let love lead and always b who the mighty one has made you to b.

I'll edit my mistake(s) later, need for dinner. Felicity0001 where u deh o?

>>Read yesterday on this thread where a driver opened his ungrateful mouth to say "Uber and bolt are being greedy" they should give the govt 10% from the 25% they collect from drivers. smh>>

>>I sumtimes feel we deserve what we're getting in this country based on stupid talks like this >> If this New Policy was made in the USA >> The very next day, 80% of Uber and Bolt drivers are outside protesting >> But in my darling country, Shebi Dem day Na on the 20th, make we dey see watin go happen>>

>>If you think Uber/Bolt is greedy, think about the hundreds on Drivers on the platform who are graduates >> Think about the un-paid pensioners who are drivers >> Think about those sacked unjustly from reasonable jobs who are now drivers >> Think about the thousands of Jobs / Side Hustle they've provided to Nigerians all for 20-25% >> Where was your govt then huh

>> This country is Doomed! EUROPE OR NOTHING
So on point, not supporting Uber/Bolt, they can do much! much!! beta, but eating wit the government in same plate is the worst thing one can ever think off. In a very brief words... Uber/Bolt r business minded folks, the government r desperate hustlers.

Boss the question is who r they? What are they fighting for? What input have they put in so far, to say they want to stand for sometin? The are nothing but criminals in the making. If drivers ignore them, hunger will naturally kill them. Mykab supporting every government actions speak volume, they should focus more on completing trips. I once took a trip on bolt to Iyana isashi. Close to the destination, I turned on my Uber app. Got a request from Iyana school (quite far from me), which is on the other side of the express. ETA topick up alone was 31mins. I didn't bother calling as I continued to my destination on bolt.

Few minutes later, the rider called and he was even going to agbara side. I told him to cancel that I can't go. He said I should cancel that Uber will charge him. But I humbly explained to him that they can only charge him when I get to the destination. He canceled and I got #300. I have to call him back to apologize and applied for a refund to rider, which Uber did refund him.

This is just one of many cases I've had on Uber.

I wasn't wrong bro.

Lol, wetin omoshodi com buy like this grin

@Felicity0001! We b hold u in high esteem, until u fall our hands, but let me not act all holy here. First I have to remove my robe... have I tried such before? Yes! But not on Uber, those days of Bolt and their wicked bonus, if the distance is too long and cancellation will affect bonus, it's start and drive 1km, mostly Bolt is on cash, the day it boomerang and fell on card, I jejely drove the 1km, end trip and call rider, apologies and refund her money. Shit happens, it's best you man up and do what is right, I've grown past bonus, if it works, fine and if it doesn't, fine. I've been in cases I mistakenly start trip and if it's cash and shot trip, I'll notify rider, most cases I will take him/her to destination for free.

But on the second tot, u r going to abule egba and a request of magodo beeped, what's the difference? At that point in time you can't blow more then 400 fuel to ur house, how abt if the request u keep getting takes you to island and you have to wait 5 mins twice to cancel? In dis battle, I've learnt to shift my fight to another day, no one can have it all, we just have to embrace the mystery and move on. Honestly boss u got high on ur supply, take courage to b picking random peeps by 10pm, add all together, 1k! It does not add up or worth it, if u ask me.

I'll advise u transfer the guy money back to him after begging and reaching agreement for him to drop the case... u may win in Uber court, but in the court of reality, u know no excuse justifies ur action. Drop mic #Peace #WhiteFlag
