Timelezz:Foolish! I knew when Hellraixer was dormant one other Avatar must be alive somewhere. Few clicks and here you are at the podium delivering dark sermons. ![]() |
analice107:I never said you did. |
bennyann:Very probing! My values here are same as in the real world. bennyann:This is true. It's arguably the most distinguished feature I exhibit here. bennyann:That's true, a clear divergence from the usual. Though it wasn't actually the first - there have been some flashes of some much subdued romantic banter with a couple of other actors which could be termed OK. Entertainment or amusement was the chief factor behind it. But the one in question was of a league of its own. It was more than was bargained for. No one is to blame. Sometimes the wind has a mind of its own and the sailor may find himself in an uncharterd waters. Jerimaiah 8:4 comes to mind: "When people fall down, don't they get up again? When they discover they're on the wrong road, don't they turn back?" ![]() bennyann:The Christian notion that the GODly ought to be less romantic or less gifted in the field of romance must be dispensed with. While we discourage immorality and indiscriminate and disproportionate application of romantic overtures, it is an essential part of good, healthy and sustainable relationship. Its proper application is quite GODly. You must not consider it strange when GODliness blends seemslessly with romance in an individual. You may only frown at its misuse of which I have been culpable. bennyann:Mostly. A little bit of a mixed bag. bennyann:It shouldn't matter. bennyann:Sacarsm noted and understood. Nice being your guest in today's Up and Personal chat show. |
KingEbukasBlog:Of course. And I don't see any reason why it should be hard for you to fathom. Or maybe you need an elementary arithmetic analysis of my total posts or topics on here and how much time was dedicated to romantic overtures with how many ladies. I'm not the good guy but chasing or seducing women is not what I'm known for here. You may want to look beyond my brief and rare stint exchanging romantic correspondence with less than a handful of lucky ladies. There's quite a lot more about postmann. |
analice107:With all sincerity, please accept my apologies. |
bennyann:I'm sorry, but I lost you in the labyrinth of my sarcasm. Of course we've never crossed paths. My profile is an open library like any other nairalander's. Please acquaint yourself and make your deduction. |
bennyann:Any grouse with the claim? I'd like to say we've crossed paths on this platform several times and you have a good statistical knowledge on my nairaland logbook. Isn't it so, dear stranger? |
KingEbukasBlog:Am I the poster boy for nairaland's famed seducer even when been on the reacting end of an erotical invitation of which only an erratic response was granted? A simple invitation was honoured. No ransom given, no ransom asked. No lady was bundled off her moral horse. None was targeted with any weaponised romantic device. It was only a gentleman's obligedness - meeting a lady half way. You paint me a sexual or romantic predator because you probably were pressured by my literary gifts - of which only a fragment was ever deployed for romantic entertainment. |
UltraLeslie1:Ok, if you say so. |

SecondEva:Ah! I missed the party! Happy birthday to lezz! |
refiner:What that scripture is saying in essence is that GOD gives HIS grace to the humble who acknowledges HIM. Not the proud and boastful who believe in their own effort. refiner:You must understand that HE knows us, even our capabilities and what the inclinations of our hearts would be like even while we were in the womb. GOD made a decision on Esau according to who Esau actually was. Esau treated his birthright with contempt by selling it to HIS younger brother. GOD's judgment on Esau was prophetic. refiner:Now, Judas was a thief who was stealing from the common purse of our LORD JESUS CHRIST and HIS apostles. Talk about one with a twisted heart. And HE eventually, premeditatedly sold his MASTER for money. Peter on the other hand received mercy because his heart failed him, fear got the better of him. His spirit was willing but his flesh was weak. He was so zealous and passionate for the LORD that he would even have died in CHRIST's place. HE dearly loved CHRIST. "Simon Peter, son of John, do you love me more than the others?" (John 21:15) Same thing applied to David. He loved GOD and was zealous. While Saul was a persistent sinner, David was after GOD's heart. And David never escaped GOD's judgment when he committed adultery and murder. But GOD knew he was a good man and spared him from death. But GOD dealt severely with him. GOD looks at the heart of men. refiner:You must realise that GOD is stricter when judging HIS own than when judging the unbelieving sinner. Did it surprise you how Judas received condemnation but the thief on the cross with JESUS received pardon and was with CHRIST after death? Those who have been given the grace of repentance and salvation are held to account more than those who are unbelieving sinners. Consider Luke 12: 47-48 "And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn't prepared and doesn't carry out those instructions, will be severely punished. But someone who doesn't know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly." Consider also John 9:41 " JESUS said, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see your guilt remain." |
The moment people see medical certificates as distinct from moral uprightness, they will learn fast that doctors, like any other profession -Pastors, lawyers, judges, law enforcement agents, etc - can breach the trust of their office. They too (doctors) lie under the power of the human nature, to lust and crave after the flesh of the opposite sex. When such fierce desire arises, simple medical ethics that governs doctor-patient relationship stands as a weak barrier against the tide of perversion. Sexually immoral doctors exist. It's a nightmarish truth some peeps won't like to accept. Be wise! ![]() |
maj007:Don't let jealousy eat you up faster than you digest knowledge. I'm not saying the Igbos are Jews or related but going by your point of dismissal on that claim it is important to remind you that the Jews were not faithful in the worship of GOD and have worshiped many strange gods both known and unknown to foreign lands. |
Saintsammurai:Hahahahaha ![]() Does anyone still consider the Nairaland pageantry worthy enough to stick out a finger? Well, not for me. Long time, my friend. |
joseph1832:True. Far many are drunk with political wine than with religious wine these days Tell me, where is the motivation for honesty when we see despicable characters succeed in politic?; I tell you, politics have been the trade of dishonest crooks for a very long time. |
UltraLeslie1:True. |
joseph1832:Big Joe, I want to correct an impression: The masses have been drawn into a deceptive divide with the present political parties and as such played into the hands of the vampires that have sucked every hope of a better life and country for the vast majority of the citizenry. Can we please educate the masses that the present crop of Nigerian politicians irrespective of political affiliation have far more in common and very little that divides them? They're bound by the same ideology of greed, corruption, public fund embezzlement/misappropriation, tribal interest and self-seeking ambition. They're all a fruits of the same tree. There are only two political parties in Nigeria - The Political Elites (TPE) and The Common Man (TCM). When the TPE (current APC and PDP members) fight themselves, it is never for the love of the common man. It's either for their own interest or the masses are being used as pawns to achieve their over all goal which is more power and influence that get them closer to the nation's treasury purse. |
UltraLeslie1:The problem with those complaint lines is they are not regional or zonal. They're central and as such would be very ineffective when a complaint comes from Delta state and who is receiving the complaint is in Abuja. Moreover, the Nigerian police needs to work on their image and public trust. It has been free-falling over the years. NB: you have some urgent message to pick up via voice call! Make it by 7:30 pm |

UltraLeslie1:True to type! You're so proud. |
UltraLeslie1:By formal you mean earning a degree in political related field of study, like you. Please! Proud and arrogant lezz, there are people all over the world who have contributed immensly to the socio-political advancement of their people and humanity in general who never received your 'formal' knowledge of international politics, rather their works make up the studies that are passed down to you and others who earned a degree in political related discipline. ![]() |
UltraLeslie1:You're trying to push me with this your point of assessment... |
UltraLeslie1:My patriotic zeal is stronger than the fear of your expletives. I would have dared you. -But why is the fulani-herdsmen rampage an unsolved issue -why is power generation and distribution so unreliable -why is the quality of our healthcare system and delivery so shameful -why do we have arguably the worst police force in the world -what is the Nigerian army doing on our roads in places where there is relative peace? It cost nothing for any state that have suffered continued fulani herdsmen attacks to ban nomadic cow grazing and implement a fixed grazing system where herdsmen can be easily tracked. But no, no state governor can do that. No state legislature can take the initiative. From Benue to Ondo, from Enugu to Delta, the leaders mind their pocket first before the integrity of the land borders of their forefathers. Make I stop here cos I no wan wash this country for public, esp before the eyes of our jealous enemies. ***MODIFIED We dont need any federal laws to allocate lands in our states to fulani herdsmen. That plan was simply a stratagem by Buhari and his fulani advisers to steal fertile land from the south for their ever-primitive herdsmen. That would have given the fulanis a permanent hold on the so called grazing lands. |
UltraLeslie1:My response to this would sound very unpatriotic. |
UltraLeslie1:Surprises me how you wage successful wars in the name of Nigeria - she is very hard to defend giving the lack of common sense of our leaders. |
Coming from a son whose fathers have raped this country for several decades is mind blowing; Coming from a son whose region is the enemy of civilization and religious zombies is staggering; Coming from a region that have shackled Nigeria with bonds of impoverishment, corruption and underdevelopment Which have forced our young men to become economic refugees abroad. This man, coming from a region that produced the mindless, demon-inspired, terrorist group - boko haram - that have smeared the image of this country far more than any other factors, is simply arrogance without borders. The man forgets he's a foremost descendant of administrative kleptomaniacs; he was delivered on a bed his father never owned. He sits up north, totally oblivious of the fact that corruption, plunder and oppression have been the foundation from which his forebears built their legacy. Someone please tell him that second to boko haram's negative image casted upon Nigeria is all the public stolen wealth stashed abroad by his immediate forefathers which has given Nigeria the image of a banana republic. |
UltraLeslie1:I trailed the blood-path that led to the abattoir where you slaughtered a Ghananian. |
ibkgab001:Datsun is old. It's Nissan and Infinity now. |

just as he said, it was indeed "a literary gift of which only a fragment was deployed for romantic entertainment"
I'm no longer pedantic about those things like before especially now I dey look for woman .
