Not everyone in nigeria gives a hoot about your traditions or religion, your religion doesn't have to be mine, just as your culture doesn't, so why should the law that governs you and I, be based on some religion? Which religion exactly? Since we can't adopt a particular one and we are free to practice any?

Can you tell me any country whose laws has no religious or cultural shade in its constitution?

Shame on the 17 southern governors. If anything remotely like this happened in the north, you would see emergency meetings involving high stakeholders. You would have seen several closed door meetings and issuing of threatening resolutions. One or two governors would have fearlessly pointed a finger at the president.
Some would have flown to Washington to issue threats to the unity of the country.
But here we are, facing a systematic takeover, ethnic cleasing, and economic disruption and there is no collective political response from the south.
