Non of these regional security apparatus will help Nigeria's unity because they are conceived with sinister motives toward some ethnic groups in the country. The Law that established Hisbah Corps was categorical in not allowing them to carry fire arms or any lethal weapons for self defence.

What about AMOTEKUN? What does the law establishing it say, if at all one exists?

3. The Government of Olusegun Obasanjo through the Inspector General of Police Mr. Sunday Ehindero in a press briefing on 7th of February, 2006 declared the Hisbah Law and the operations of the bodies created by the Laws as unconstitutional and illegal.

Is AMOTEKUN even backed by any Law?

4. On 8th February, 2006 the same Inspector General of Police Sunday Ehindero ordered his officers and men to effect the arrest of the Chairman and Commander General of the Hisbah Corps, Mallam Yahaya Farouk Chedi and his Deputy Mallam Abubakar Abdulkareem Rabo. They were arrested in Kano and immediately taken to Abuja where they were detained.

Has any Commander of AMOTEKUN been arrested, despite the fact that they are not backed by any known law and are made to carry fire-arms?

Would the atmosphere not have been more volatile by now if such has happened?

5. The same Government of Olusegun Obasanjo through the Minister of Information, Mr Frank Nweke Jr. in another press briefing made serious allegations that the Hisbah had sought foreign assistance from Libya and Iran for training as a terrorist group.

Programming language: Python programming and/or R, and/or SAS. I recommend Python.

Others: Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, SPSS, etc (You don't have to learn all these for a start)



Finally, i have YouTube channel (CalyxData) which I started, to teach people data science. The channel is new so no too much activities there yet. You could begin your journey there. Data science is the process of transforming data into problem-solving format.

Before data becomes useful, it passes through a phase called data lifecycle. This varies from industry to industry. The cycle could include data acquisition, processing, analysis, modeling etc.

Data science is way bigger than data analysis. In fact, data analysis, business analysis etc are sunset of data science.

Another concept that is very rampant in data science is machine learning (herewith refered to as ML). ML is a process of teaching machine to carry out certain activities through the use of algorithms. For example, I could develop an algorithm to determine whether a job invite is fake or not. Or an algorithm to recognize handwriting. Or an algorithm to determine the kind of food prepared based on the ingredients. Believe me you can have an algorithm that will be 99% correct in predicting these occurrences. Finally, ML is a subset of Artificial Intelligence.

With the Advent of modern technologies, data generation has been astronomic. There are terabytes of data generated per minutes. In one minutes, over 18 million text messages are sent across the world. 3.8 million searches are made on Google per minute. 4.3 million minutes of YouTube video views. About $1million dollars are spent online per every 60 seconds. 41.6 million messages are sent on Facebook. The bottom line is, we now generate ENORMOUS amount of data.

Humans are not very good at saying their experiences or what they want. But if you have data concerning their behaviors, you can almost absolutely tell what they will likely do next.

Companies, like Amazon and tons of others are making billions of dollars through effective utilisation of data. Gor example, through data, you could tell that a person who buys children diapers may likely by toy. Hence over 30% of Amazon revenue comes from suggestions.

Hisbah (which is absolutely criminal in nature. The Sharia law in some parts of the north is less than customary law in power. The Constitution of NIgeria empower any NIgerian to live a circular life anywhere within the country. It's criminal to arrest a non Moslim for drinking or enacting any law for a non Moslim anywhere within the NIgeria state), Civilian JTF (who are heavily armed by the way) and now Àmòtékùn are indication of failed NIgeria system. When tribe, religion and class gets preference in judgement, such a state is heading towards doom. The hypocrisy of Buhari and his Fulani hegemony prompted the need for Àmòtékùn.

The economic value of these marauder herders is very limited. How much bovines will they sell to pay the salary of ONLY primary school teachers in a state? Yet they have caused most of the crises in the NIgeria and responsible for more death than Ebola, without means to disarm them and prosecute them.
