ehinmowo:
Typical black man. Wicked souls. Imagine someone telling you to go to farm after spending your professional years in an industry? No. People's welfare cannot concern you, because an average black man is primarily selfish.

Do you know why Ford did not change the name of Kia after acquiring her? You people are complaining about overhead. Don't forget Access Bank also acquired the assets of the banks she acquired. Imagine a branch that was designed to handle 2000 customers per day now handling 4000?
I always laugh whenever people are suggesting that "you should go into farming"..

I can give you 100 reasons why you should not based on a personal experience.

And suggesting that an ex-banker should even try it is a no_no.
Family › Re: Share Your Funniest Experience While Growing Up by ppogba: 7:23pm On Apr 29, 2020
I remember a cherubim and Seraphim family I grew up in Lagos. One day, the father was beating one of the children and when cane landed on the boy's head he shouted 'ELI ELI LAMASABATHANI" translated "My Father, My father why have you forsaken me".

The father and every one around marveled at the promptness and relevance of the quotation that day.

Till this moment, I still laugh at that.

Audio Disbursement.

They will only share the money amongst themselves.

Corrupt government hiding under the integrity mantra.

This is Nigeria where the child of nobody cannot become somebody without knowing anybody.
We claim to be exposed and educated down south yet I wonder atimes if that is the truth.

Any time govt comes up with something we are the first to shout na lie na lie and yet people up north are quick to grab the opportunity.

Just like yesterday, acnhor borrowers program pf the CBN came, na lie na lie we keep shouting and farmers up north are benefiting.

This one has come now with the same pessimistic attitude.

A stood as a guarantor for someone last year and he is still utilising the N2M he got from NIRSAL for his poultry business.

If you are reading this and you are interested, give it a trial and do not let people that are still being breast-fed discourage you.

I once heard of a guy that was robbed and his ATM card was collected along with his pin. Those thieves went on to rob other people but rather than collect any other ATM card, they just made other victims transfer into the first victims account.
So any attempt to trace the transaction will lead to the first victim.

That is the essence of lodging a report with the police "immediately" you are robbed. No matter how small or minute a thing is that is taken off you during robbery, lodge a report i mmediately.

If the guy in your short documentary did the same, he will have less stress with the police.

We do not have room for doing their bit. This is a matter of life and death of thousands of people. We need the best necessary actions taking. Not tomorrow but now.

It is clear that both, including Boss Mustapha who heads the Presidential Covid-19 response team are lost in this. If we give them more time, we might lead thousands to an untimely grave

We have wasted enough time already.
Their "bit" I mentioned could probably involve a lot of sleepless nights, rigorous strategic sessions amongst others. I agree that we are talking about human lives but one thing I know is that, it isn't advisable you effect a change as this in the "middle of the deep sea".

As hyper-active a s Trump is, I am not sure he has pulled the trigger on his CDC chief. Same as Boris, Angela, Macron and even Ramaphosa.
Health › Re: COVID-19: NCDC Releases Summary Of Test Numbers, States And Activities by ppogba: 4:55pm On Apr 18, 2020
TheGoodJoe:
NCDC boss and Minister of Health should be fired by now. They do not know what they are doing. We need to know the spread of tests among all the states. How many tests going on to determine of there is break out in other States.

Covid-19 is deadly when the spread goes on by asymptomatic people. We need massive tests. If they can not convince the Federal, State and local governments to channel all resources towards the Covid-19 war, they should step down immediately.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.
I am not in support of the NCDC boss being sacked but ONE thing I know is that if he were to be from another region, the roof would have been blown by now due to the clamour for HIS sack.

Ethnicity has blinded Nigeria.

Let the Health Ministry and NCDC continue doing their bit.

SGF is very political he also has chief of staff.. chief of staf is very administrative.. infact in simple terms he is the executive administrative secetary to a president, scheduling meetings, booking hotels, planning visits and outing monitoring aso rock, drafting presidential documents and receiving inward document and many more.. Think dude check who is the chief of staff to your own state governor and check weither its political or corporate
No doubt the job entails all what you detailed. But saying anybody without the "handling and management" of office experience cannot function well is not only insulting to the office but also insulting to the candidates.

Talking about state government level, Raji Fashola did the job in Lagos for 8 years and I will like you to tell me where he got the office handling experience prior to being appointed.

Did Abba Kyari got the office handling experience by being the former MD of UBA?

The good news I have for you is that you, my brother can function well if given the role. Do not forget that official position in Nigeria is all about co-ordinating the work force you have at your disposal. I must confess those guys up there have them in abundance. That is why when some people in official position are cornered and questioned without immediate access to the AIDES, you are disappointed with what they vomit.

Kingigbe is too power hungry.. I doubt Buhari would want someone like him, the reason Abba Kyari was selected was cos of his political naivity and Corporate and Board room talent as former UBA MD with track records in the Oil and Gas and top Law Firms like Remi Fani Kayode and co

Kingigbe is a seasoned Politician with little or no experience in office handling or management, it would be suicidal for any President to have a politician as chief of staff

And Lastly, Buhari's style in since the military is to always pick a silent guy to be his second in command, a media shy person that can always take the blame in silence while he forms saint, Tunde Idiagbo his 2ic took Buhari 80s regime to grave, I know Kingigbe would scream out and call press conference if they attempt to use him as fall guy

.
So, according to you, the job of SFG is basically that of office handling and management.
It is also safe to say the same about SSG then.
But if a former ambassador, former minister amongst other positions earlier held is not "experienced" to handle this post, don't you think it will be safe, fast and cheaper to get an office administrator at the nearest magistrate court?.

Please kindly remind me of any former SFG with a previous experience in office handling of management before assuming the position.

There is nothing wrong with debt and many of you have to come to terms with this reality.

The USA that many of you think is heaven, owes trillions of dollars with most of to China.

When someone asks you questions on your own financial status, many of you take it as an insult.

Yet if you look at it, many of tou struggle financially and tou have various excuses for it.

Rightly or wrongly, if you can make an excuse for your situation, it can also be extended to what your government is capable of.

Nigeria is a poor country and the earlier Nigerians understand this, the better it would be for the nation.

We need to increase our output for various goods and services we otherwise import.

You cannot import everything from rice to clothes to cars yet all you export is oil (just 2 million barrels per day with 200 million people depending on it) but expect to have a high standard of living.

Until the youth understand that they live in a poor country and their contribution is required to lift not only themselves but their families and by extension the society out of a cycle of poverty, they would continue to wail in vain.
I had to go thru some of your earlier comments to see if this particular comment of yours is not a flash in the pan,

You have touch critical points herein that only reasonable people can understand.

Indeed Nigeria is a poor country but most Nigerians do not know it. Infact, one will be courting controversy stating it.
