I'm currently using this holiday period to learn Python for programming. Just started yesterday self.

Better start learning a trade and stop this pity story. I know guys on Facebook who dress better in the app than me, get more likes but beg me in real life for money.

That's bullshit and you know it! No other examination body ignores religious obligations, even in the USA, people are given alternative days to write SAT and other exams. You mentioned weekend but how the heck does that correlate with anything? Weekend to you might be the start of the week for others, not everyone is bound by your gregorian calander! Furthermore this is not even about religion but the lack of flexibility the examination bodies in Africa are giving candidates.

Look into how exams are written in Europe, America, canda and so on, you'll see people have flexibility. This flexibility ensures freedom of religion, solutions to emergencies and so on but once again Africans must stand behind mediocrity and embrace the hard knock life.....lol.

Muric has a point but calling WAEC satanic is just foolish! In every country, the examination bodies are to respect traditions and religious systems. I'm sure even in 9ja, if WAEC should fix exams on Sundays, many people would protest vehemently. Besides Sunday is weekend while Friday is a work day.

This is not about religion. Waec is a secular body and in a multi religious nation like ours, it should not be forced to obey the rules of religion.

It's governing principle should be independent. If you as a student wants to work with it then fine if not, no one will force you.

Waec is a secular body. Friday is a work day and it can set the timetable for Friday as it deemed fit.

If a student is too religious and feels he's religion is more important than the exam for that day then he can forego the exam and go for worship. After all waec has and will never force any student to write any Paper at any particular time.
