If there's anything history has taught us, it is that Man has always fought battles. Battle for territory, invasion, marriage, honour, sport, gold and precious stones, ego, etc.

But what is the greatest battle ever fought? Is it the battle between King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans against the immortal army of Xerxes? Or is it the battles between Caesar and the Roman territories? Is it the nuclear battles of the World Wars? Or the battle between Floyd Mayweather and Pacquiao?

Gory and Epic as these battles were, the greatest battle man has ever fought is none of them. No, not even close. . It is not even against one another.
The greatest battle ever fought by Man is the Battle of the Mind. The Battle for the Human Soul.

(Stay with me, it only gets more interesting from here on)

Man is a triune being. Man is a Spirit with a Soul living inside an earth-bound Body.
The human soul comprises of the Mind (Thoughts), Free-Will and Emotions.
God created man and the greatest and most dangerous gift he gave to man was his Free will.

Here in lies the Greatest Battle of Man. The battle between God and Satan for his Soul, his free will.
It would seem that Satan is winning this battle as it stands in our time. The human mind is completely flooded with everything ungodly. Our natural will is Destructive; choosing Darkness over Light, Evil over Good, Profanity over Holiness, Lie over Truth.

The enemy has been very scheming and strategic in his deception. He has not only convinced us that bad is good and wrong is right but he's cunningly conned us to believe that death is life and life is death.
How did he achieve this?
He has changed the narrative. He changed our languages, our names and our diets.

I'm a bad guy. I no be gentle man, i no dey shame, etc are just few examples of how we glorify and celebrate what we should be ashamed of.

I no be good boy., I no nice, I no fit ever for my life be like those born-again, etc. They turned the most glorious attributes and made them despicable, irritating.

I dare say, the most glorious day in a man's life is the day he finds Salvation in Christ and becomes Born again. But today, even the word has been turned to the most grotesque word in the dictionary. It gets even deeper.

The devil has been strategic I reiterate, very strategic. He has put his stalwarts in the powerful places and controls the air waves, the media and dictates what we hear and see. What we decide is good or bad is hence as a result of what they decide.

A good example, any rational human being with even the faintest element of decency in them knows Cee C is possessed girl with all manners of demons eating her up. Yet she has become to many girls, a role model, a standard. And as such some of her characters are already rubbing off on girls and women across the nation.
And you thought BBN was just for your entertainment? No, they've been deciding how you will make your next decisions, how you will choose to exhibit some of the characters of Cee C and other BBN contestants next time you're in similar situations. Be informed.

Thr greatest deception ever is perhaps that you're in your greatest battle ever with little or no awareness at all of the battle.
I will close on this note. How do we win this battle?
The only way to win this battle is first to realise you're in a battle. Then to "decide" who's side you want to be. Will you choose Light or Darkness? Will you choose Life or Death? Will you choose Perfection or Destruction?
Left to you in your present embattled state, you will naturally choose death over life. The deception is in the soothing and even ecstatic euthanasia of the death.
But I pray you listen to that suffocating voice of your inner man, your true spirit gasping for breath. Your true self looking up to you to make the right choice. To return to the original plan, your original purpose, Why you were Created and Born. Good is good, Holiness and Perfection is the best place to be, or atleast strive to be. And no, it's not boring or impossible as the devil has impressed on your mind. On the contrary, it is extraordinarily Glorious.
My natural old self would choose to be stingy and greedy with this Grace I am enjoying, but my re-born self is beyond greed, stinginess, jealousy, etc. All that has been replaced with Peace and Love. So the Good Grace that has been freely given me, is good for all and for the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Choose wisely.

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all. Amen.

The concept of trinity is one that is inconceivable to the senses. But it is just as aptly defined in 1 Timothy 3:16.
"And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit Seen by angels, Preached among gentiles, Believed on by the world, Received up in glory."

If you believe youre a tripartite of body, mind and soul, and you believe that you're created in the likeness of God, then it shouldn't be so difficult to understand the Trinity of God.

Dwelling among us as Christ was the body/physical manifestation of God. God the Father never abdicates His throne in Heaven, He was, He is and Forever will be enthroned. Having Conquered Sin and Death and ascended into Glory in Christ the body, the Spirit of God now fills the earth. Meaning we have been enabled to attain purity for the indwelling of the Spirit of God.

Christianity is deep and every new revelation of the spirit is a like glorious experience.
There's so much to tell you, but I'll rather you let the Holy Spirit show you.
Just seek Him genuinely today. It costs you nothing and you have everything to gain.
Confess you believe in Jesus Christ and let Him do the rest.

Of a truth I tell you, no true Christian is depressed because once you accept Christ as your Savior and Believe He has already Died for Remission of Your Sins and Risen in Complete Victory over Death, brother You are inexplicably endlessly Joyful and Peaceful in whatever condition you find yourself.

I suffered from bouts of depression and anxiety as an atheist and carnal Christian. But today, I can't imagine why I was so blessed yet so depressed.

Psychologist and Psychiatrists are only temporary solution and you know what a relapse is? They cure you today only for you to experience a lower, steeper and heavier depression next time.

So OP, I have little or no experience with other religions but I can assure you, of a truth, Christ is the Truth, Solution, Salvation and the only way.

Christians are not perfect, we're only striving for perfection and holiness. Until then, we will fall, our sinful nature will still cause us to err. But do not judge all by the action of 1 or 10 or even a 1000. A true Christian would actually try to make things right by apologising after erring. So yes, there's a lot of hypocrisy in Christendom cos we're not perfect even though Christianity is perfect.

The truth of the matter is we know the president is right but choosing a foreign press to damage the image of Nigerians is a No-no.

About the prophets, yes they sometimes have visions but don't live your life depending on them. They've led many to their doom.
So if all that scares you is the vision, I'll say there's probably an iota of truth in it cos if you get serious with a woman at the wrong time of your life, when you should be serious about building yourself and being successful, she'll definitely limit your chances of achieving your purpose. Perhaps the vision is a matter of timing.

She agreed and we became friends. Later on we start doing the romance game. Little by little it lead to sex which I deflowered her. She want us to be back to bf and gf status but I insist am not doing that. The game continue goin on and I discovered that she as given me her heart totally. She can do anything for my sake, she can go extra mile just because of me. When I discovered this I begin to worried. Cause I don’t know how I will handle it. Well I act as a man and I called her that we are not dating and that I don’t think we can date, so I told her to reduce the love and caring. Since then she as not been normal, she as been admitted thrice, even till now that am talking to you she is still sick. What makes me come here is that she told me I should come and carry her corpse very soon. I’m really scared right now. I don’t know what I can do..

The intent of this thread should not be misconstrued as a mere shenanigan to win over atheists. Far from it.
It is a genuine realisation of the status of atheism in the scheme of things.

Having once been a proud atheist myself, I was so certain I had found the truth. The truth which put me aloof of all religiousness. It was not only liberating but invigorating.
Not only satisfying but gratifying. I felt atoned with the universe. I felt in control of my destiny. I felt empowered.

Unfortunately, this was the most beautiful lie concocted to subvert the Truth. The same ancient soothing Lie the serpent impressed on Eve in the garden of Eden. The lie that in fact I was a god and didn't need to depend on a God.

It was perfect only in it's imperfection. But it was not Perfection.
It's imperfection lies in its ineffectiveness, especially in the things that matter most.
It doesn't bring Happiness.
It doesn't bring Peace.
It doesn't bring Fulfilment
And it doesn't bring Answers, just more questions.

But with it comes more Corruption and Destruction. What's worse, it takes away Hope.
Unhibited by the Fear of God, you are open to corruption by every sinful nature. You become a slave to the lies and urges and worldly pleasures the adversary keeps insinuating inside your mind. And trust me, you think you're in control but in your sober mood you know you've lost your control.

So atheists, I do understand.
I'm not even preaching now, I just want you to know.
Cos knowledge is everything. And knowledge is only as useful as it is updated. The more you're open to know, the more you'll know.

The law of causality says to every cause there's an effect.
Meaning to every action there's a reaction.

Every atheist is an effect of one of 2 maybe three causes.
-A devastating loss of something or someone so dear.
-A hopeless love for sin that seems beyond control and redemption.
-A personal disappointment in some highly esteemed supposed man of God.

That said, no one should however dwell so long in this state. Rather it's a stage to be sensitive. To pay attention and even then seek to know and understand Christ more.

I hope sinners and atheists do find God's grace and find salvation. Salvation from sin and demonic manipulations.

I remember when I used to argue with Christians, although most of them were not well-drilled in apologetics, I knew my arguments rested well on nothing. For I could not find anything within or outside to ground my convictions.

Exactly. It's meant to be a phase as we question our belief system. But what's next after that? That's the question. We are meant to seek answers. And no one ever got answers by being too proud to ask.
