A Complaint is only accentuated better when it is married with a Solution, even if it's not the best solution. I wish we'd complain less and profer solutions more. |
Commuting in Lagos roads and certain states you just have to ask yourself this- Do Bikers (okada riders) actually pass through any form of school to learn the basic rules of riding, driving and traffic generally. With the way the ride, you just know that certainly they only get a bike, hit the road and hope they make it back. You wonder how they confidently drive nonsense and recklessly and still insult you for daring to challenge them. Do they even know that passing One-way is an offense? |
LUCKIE2014:http://touchpoint.com.ng/new/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=43&Itemid=2 ₦¿@§ don't read. You could open a thread but couldn't Google? All the best though. |
RighteousI:So trial and error is your definition of maturity? Sorry to burst your bubble but may be, just maybe they chose to marry early because they married as virgins. But really when did we start glorifying immorality and casting aspersions on good standards? OP clearly you need Jesus. |
Heart turned mercury... Molten! Make a hard core want to cry. (sobs) |
Interesting. I'm not usually open to sharing my personal intricacies with others. Safe to say I have trust issues. Lol So how do you propose I choose these mentors? |
Commend him for visiting kwa?
Where did he visit again?
Dear EU, This Modestus guy don collect Ghana must go bad from Buhari. |
thesicilian:But you dey vex sir. Lol |
hot1sauce:Have you smelled an Indian before? ![]() The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice. |
GavelSlam:Care to elaborate? |
thesicilian:But that hasn't stopped the problem in Ghana. |
What is the Greatest Problem of Nigeria? -Insecurity? Unemployment? Tribalism? Religious Intolerance? Corruption? Perhaps the greatest, yet insidious problem confronting Nigeria is the Lack of our Good Perception of her. Think about it. Every new year kicks off with negative and bleak prophecies from certain so called prophets. Doom prophets as I like to call them. This already launches the year into a bad start. We subconsciously expect it to go south (no pun intended). Then the media paints it's own grim image of a hopelessly corrupt and insecure country to Nigerians and the international community. This further insinuates and exacerbates an already impoverished hopeless image of the country into our minds. We ourselves further promote this gospel of a Hopeless Nigeria in our engagements, our chats, blogs, fora, while doing business, at the news stands, at our favorite mama put, even in the church. They say, As A Man Thinketh, So He Is. Honest question, what does the average Nigerian think of Nigeria? Better yet, what do you think of Nigeria? While you ruminate over that question, think of the exponential effect of the hopeless and grim thoughts of the over 180 million Nigerians that make up our citizenry, not forgetting Nigerians in diaspora among others thinking ever so negatively and pessimistic of her. USA had Kennedy, Black Americans had Martin Luther King Jr, Singapore had Lee Kwan Yew, SA had Mandela. Rwanda presently has Paul Kagame. Who do we have to Give Nigerians the True Picture of What Nigeria Is, What She Could Become? The elections are upon us yet again. We don't need another politician, we've had those and they failed (woefully). We need Visionaries. But who is qualified to be our visionary? |
Gbemishile1:Send her 2000 recharge card for her subscription. She'll be the one face timing you. |
FRSC strikes again. The shamelessness is a curse. |
It's too early to be depressed. You never even go NYSC (Now your struggle continues) ![]() Truth is a 2.2 is not the end of the world, just limits certain blue chip job offers. My advice, learn a soft skill or professional course, especially during your NYSC. Nigerian HR worships certificates so you might want to up ur CV during ur NYSC. That said, cheer up labour market is only hard if you make it so. Build your contacts too, you'll need your friends with job opportunities too. All the best. |
snowden9:This one will divorce his wife for forgetting wedding anniversary oh. Bruh over-sensitive dey worry you. You must be pisces. You can't even blame them cos you brought it on urself. What were you expecting after editing your Facebook date? And did you say you placed a 1 week embargo abi incommunicado on ur gf? I died. Lool That said, it hurts no doubt but for a 28 year old you should know everyone is busy or dealing with serious issues to remember bdays without FB notification. For me my bday is all about self evaluation and making myself happy so others remembering is just literally the icing on the cake. Happy Bday in arrears bro. (From a fellow Pisces) |
BetaThings:What's your point sir? Or just a burning need to disagree? |
WotzupNG:Hypocrites. They complain about all the externalities when what matters is the character. Where were these same critics when their moslem leaders were stealing, looting and robbing the country empty? Why have they not criticizes so vehemently the recent Book Haram attack in Dapchi? The Fulani Herdsmen slaughters? In truth, self righteous people are worse than unbelievers. |
eagleonearth:Taye ba log-in si account aye omobinrin, ti won bawa setan lati highjack ogo omoge na, ibe loti ma nbere. (in Woli Aroles voice) lol |
OK that's one bee-you-tea-full family. But where's daddy na. Why dads keep getting underappreviated? I see ya OluwaTbuzz, to the right, to the right. |
luminouz:Lol |
2buffagain:True. |
Opentokwowledge:Lol are you open to inter-tribal marriage? |
MJBOLT:Well, you've spoken. But you haven't spoken well. The people won't wake up and start doing the right thing. That's why there needs to be sensitization and enforcement of the rule of law. No officers designated with the task of monitoring and collecting fine from citizens for indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the road so pray tell how will it ever stop? Lagos is the definition of Putting horse before the cart cos they only make provision for cleaning dump only for you to heap another pile of dump again. I don't know if anyone notices the uniformed redundant workers that clear the sand from the express roads? Is that not just the stupidest job ever? Their job isn't to make the roads clean, but just to clear sand. Like wtfffff! Just surrounding them you'll see empty cans, dirty gutter, pure water sachets, etc littering everywhere yet all their concern is to clear the sand!. We need visionaries in this country not copy and paste leaders who just copy foreign initiatives without understanding its proper execution. I'm done ranting. No vex. |
OtemAtum:Interesting concept. Do you have any reference, book or site? Where I can get more insight into it. |
Yankiss:Lol o ma trend pa. (He go too trend) |
OtemAtum:I still don't get it. Do you mind explaining what you mean by "knowing God"? |
ipobarecriminals:I concur. Either that or she doesn't want a long term commitment with OP. Either way, she's not ready, don't ambush her, she'll either eventually come around or you'll realise she never wanted the long haul. |
OtemAtum:OK. You believe in a deity/higher power, just not sure which. Am I right? |
butterflylion:Lol yea. I transitioned from a Church goer into a Christian. I used to hear that a lot and it didn't make sense to me until I experienced it. I hope to open a thread about it in due time. The Bible is deep. Christianity is depth. |
