A woman is soliciting for prayers as she's set to be operated on again in the stomach due to intestinal obstruction. Facebook user Ndi Beatrice who shared the woman's plight online - revealed that doctors have operated on the patient 21 times and are planning to operate the 22nd time ‎after failing to treat the problem.

Ndi Beatrice who thinks the problem has developed from physical to spiritual, wrote;

PLEASE AM BEGGING FOR PRAYER ON BEHALF OF MY CHIEF IN THE HOSPITAL, SHE HAS BEEN OPERATED 21 times,and now the pains is so serious again in the stomach,intestinal obstruction, the doctors are planning to operate her again for number 22 times,please let pray let the will of God be done....

A Nigerian couple, Ajibola and Adeboye Taiwo who welcomed a set of sextuplets in the United States after 17 years of marriage - are still thanking God for the multiple blessings even after one year. The pictures of the healthy and fresh looking babies were posted on social media to mark one year of their miraculous delivery.

Ajibola Taiwo gave birth to sextuplets last year at a Richmond hospital, three boys and three girls. It was the first time sextuplets were born at VCU Medical Center, according to reports.

The babies were born on May 11 with the help of a 40-person medical team. Ajibola gave birth at roughly 30 weeks and delivered by Caesarean section.

The couple had tried to conceive a child for nearly two decades. They were described as being “overcome with joy when they saw four heartbeats” at their first ultrasound in November.

Some days ago, it was reported that a transparent stone with an image was found at Alagbaa, Wofun area of Ibadan, Oyo state. It was gathered that the location of the 'precious' stone, Iyana Church, has been turned to a tourist center - with people gathering in their numbers to see the supposed image which is claimed to be that of Jesus Christ for themselves. According to reports, there is tension in Akwa, Anambra state capital after a young man identified as Dosky was gunned down by some unidentified cultists earlier today. It was gathered that the attackers said to be three in number - stormed the deceased's residence and shot him at point blank range after trailing him from a barbing saloon where he went to have his hair cut.

The deceased was left to die in the pool of his own blood after the attack.

The killing is said to have caused unrest among Awka residents and students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University as a reprisal attack is expected to happen...

A Nigerian guy identified as Ayo Bamidele is in the limelight after sharing his brief success story on Twitter. The young man who lives in New Jersey, USA - revealed that his mother had to beat after he revealed he was going to study Political science against her choice of Medicine or law.

Now, he has a Bachelors Degree, a Masters Degree with distinctions, and he also got a full time offer with Microsoft.

He shared his story via twitter. Below is what he wrote;

Five years ago, I told my mom I was going to major in Political Science knowing she wanted medicine or law. She pulled over and gave me a quick two piece combo. An unidentified lady who reportedly lost her memory has been found at Ajuwon/Akute road in Ogun state. According to pastor Chidi Egwuh who met and took care of her, the lady who looks sane - has no idea of where she comes from due to memory loss. Her pictures were posted on Facebook in a bid to locate her family or people who know her.

The government has got to take this serious before another tragedy occurs. National Helm has obtained a video footage showing armed men walking around and smiling with their weapons in Birnin-Gwari area of Kaduna State. The troubled region has seen unprovoked attacks, killings and kidnappings in recent times including killing of over 70 villagers.

Heavily armed bandits in the Birnin Gwari axis of the state have killed over a hundred people, including 12 soldiers and five policemen.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Army staff, Lt Gen. Tukur Buratai has ordered officers and men of the Nigerian Army to wipe out armed bandits unleashing mayhem on the Birnin Gwari axis of Kaduna State within three weeks.

The Army chief, who flagged off the 2 Battalion Forward Operation Base (FOB) charged the military to go on the offensive against the bandits.

Don't know how true this story is but according to unconfirmed reports trending online, these two men are claiming to be the biological father of a baby after their lover gave birth in Idunowina District, Ugboko, Edo State. A Facebook user, Monday Ogbeide shared the story online and insisted it's a true story that happened on Sunday, May 13th - two days ago.

Wonder shall never end. It happened at Idunowina this afternoon, this two men are claiming d ownership of this innocent child as biological father. The question now is that who is d actual father. Well, the woman standing in between them with the baby can answer that.

The attention of the appropriate authorities has been called to the alleged corrupt practices being carried out by officers at the Nigeria immigration Service checkpoint along Maiduguri - Damaturu road in Borno state. According to reports, the officers are collect various amounts from citizens that do not have a National ID Card without giving them receipt for the payment.

Many online users who have witnessed the issue - confirmed the report as they revealed that the ''fee'' collection has been going on for years now without doing anything about it.

A Facebook user, Sharafuddeen Adam shared the news online. Below is what he wrote;

This shows a Nigeria lmmigration Service checkpoint along Maiduguri - Damaturu road specifically around Jimtilo. The officers are collecting N500 from those that do not have a National ID Card without giving them receipt for the payment. The vulnerable are the poor who use commercial vehicles. Those in private vehicles are not considered by these officers.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Government should make more centers for issuing National ID Card so that every one will have access to it without hardship.

2. EFCC, ICPC, The National Assembly and Borno State Government should take proper measures to stop this corrupt practice.

The leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife, were today arraigned before the Kaduna state High Court sitting in Kaduna. The duo were surprisingly forcibly moved from their DSS detention center in Abuja under the cover of darkness and brought to Kaduna for the case. The Sheikh had refused being served some weeks earlier, but the authorities forcibly arraigned notwithstanding.

When the case was called, the Kaduna state Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Bayero Dari, announced appearance for the prosecution. At that point, the presiding judge asked where those standing trial were. Barrister Dari said they were within the court premises.

They judge then asked they should be brought in. Sheikh Zakzaky and the wife were then led into the court hall by DSS operatives, and they took their seats as the case continued.

Barrister Opaluwa and Barrister Maxwell Kyon announced appearance for the defense on behalf of Femi Falana, SAN.

Bayero asked for more time to enable the prosecution serve the other two persons standing trial with the Sheikh. On their part, the defense lawyers made an oral application for bail and an unfettered access to their clients.

The court asked that the bail application be brought formally and granted the request of the defense of unhindered access to Sheikh after an adequate notice is provided of at least three days.

The application of the prosecution to allow the Sheikh and his wife to continue being in the custody of the DSS was granted.

The case was adjourned to June 21, 2018 and the Sheikh and his wife were consequently returned to Abuja.

A man who was involved in an auto accident which almost claimed his life - is filled with appreciation after he was rescued by some noble citizens while laying helpless in the big gutter at Onitsha Expressway in Anambra state. Reports have it that several road users and motorists ignored the man after the accident which occurred in the night.

Noble Citizens took it upon itself to save his life, picked him up, rushed him to the hospital. Though about four(4) different hospitals rejected him due to the amount of blood that was rushing out of his head, he was finally treated by Toronto Hospital at Upper Iweka.

The married man with a child - is now hale and hearty and can't stop thanking Noble Citizens for saving his life.

The Imo state University, IMSU, final year student who was killed by gunmen on her 23rd birthday has been buried amid tears. The 400L student of Banking and Finance, was laid to rest Friday, May 12th at Abakuru in Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo state - with family members, friends and students present.

Recall that Late Ibeh kelechi Assumpta, a final year student who is expected to graduate by August this year was shot dead by unknown gunmen while celebrating her birthday on Wednesday, 21st March at Douglas in Owerri, the state capital.

The President of the department, Mr. Victor Adiele in a tribute on behalf the school Management said "We send our hearty and warmth condolence over the death of our colleague Ibeh Kelechi Assumpta, her death was a big shock to us and we are aggrieved knowing fully that our colleague is no more".

"We pray that God Almighty will grant the family of IBEH, the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss", he added.

A soldier who was wounded on the battlefield while batting the deadly Boko Haram insurgents - is seeking for help as his situation continues to worsen. The soldier was was injured in the stomach region and has been now forced to walk around with a plastic bag. His case was posted on social media in order to urge the army authorities to look into his issue.

It is said that Emmanuel and his wife have not been living well for over a year now due to this lady.
