jornwhite:Yes my brother, I always try to be polite, dont mind her as she wanted to turn the stuff into polite insults Same here, while growing up, money my mom spent for home were written for dad to pay back. And he paid back as much as he could. I also dated working class babe and it was almost same thing. In fact, babe will be working at the same company with u and still expect u to foot the relationship bills. I was wondering if this lady who replied my comment was trying to run away from reality or she is just messing around. I am very sure she can not date a broke guy. In fact, the richer the lady is, the more she looks for a man richer than her or at the same level with her.. But we cant count the number of men who are dating completely broke girls. I know some of us who placed our babes on monthly upkeep money and still fund the relationship. And these ladies still want equal rights and never ready to share bills 50/50! How many we go count? Is it those who will be asking for TF before coming to see their own bf. Or those who rely on guys for almost monthly data sub. Any one shying away from this reality is just a liar. The life in this part of world has already given ladies one step ahead financially as against men. Most of my university female class mates all married as unemployed and broke ladies. Most of them are living fine now as a result of their husband. Some were taken abroad by their husbands, some were started business by their husbands. In fact, almost all my uni female class mates are settled. But the guys, a lot of them are still struggling till date. Some still ask me for little, little help. It is that crazy. The society gave women one or two steps ahead of the man in terms of finance. That brought about the previous culture. However as we are shifting from this, we expect Nigerian ladies to also shift from their numerous benefits in respect to finances else, the male child may die younger. |
jornwhite:Thanks godness someone responded appropriately. I just asked her a simple question: how many rich ladies are willing to date broke guys and marry them sef? How many? I mean, in this part of the world, the size of a man's pocket is what is used to rate him as being a 'man'. Even many ladies who are well to do will simply lockup. Most rich ladies most times go with rich guys. But it is almost a norm for a rich guy to date and marry a broke girl and establish her. This was what started this whole thing and since it is changing, we hope the bills too can change to be shared by both genders. A guy wey just finished wedding, he complained so much how the wedding drained him. I laughed, same way it happened to me. |
pocohantas:Well, Im not whinning! I wish u the best! I'm not here to drag words with u my dear. Have a lovely day. |
Patrick33:Alright bro, thanks. I dont have anyone in Calabar, wil make do with the 333k or 350k for s10 plus. Or if I can get Xiaomi 10 pro, fine. |
pocohantas:My dear, I didnt come here to argue with u. It is a known fact that many ladies even get married without having a job, some were established by their husbands. In many homes across the country, husbands still run most of the bills. In relationship, same issue. I dated my woman from her second year, placed her on monthly upkeep money and took care of her school bills, she finished, married her, enrolled her into training she is running now to establish her once she is done. My two best friends are doing same. Bill sharing is not yet balanced here. We are getting there, so we will get there.. When i married, I paid all the bills my self. The wedding expenses were all carried out by me. One of the guys I know who married few weeks ago, he took care of almost 90 percent of the wedding bills. He is the one trying to establish his wife now after they got married since she is not getting a job. In Nigeria, it is quite okay for a lady to get married while not having sufficient money but not okay for a man to do so. I just gave u why this idea was started initially and since we are migrating out of it, we also need to balance the bills on both genders to reduce the stress on men financially. It is easier for a made man to marry a broke girl but very hard for a made lady to marry a broke guy. U and i know this is fact. These things got to change too. |
Grandeza:Exactly my point. Just that the idea of women being financially considered before marriage is not yet popular. Till date, most men still run 80 percent of the family bills. This need to stop as well because u cant give a lady assets only for her to be married to already made man while ur sons cant marry already made woman. He needs to be already made to even attract an already made lady. These things need to change as well else the pressure on men financially will kill them finish. |
Rajioba1:will Chinese version work here in Nigeria? |
Rajioba1:when is the global version coming out? |
Is this available yet? |
sagieramos:This cant be true! |
Patrick33:Thank u bro.. Made up my mind to buy here in Nigeria. I was told 333k for s10! I wish I can see something less than 300k though. |
Sholaco:bro, no tribe in Nigeria has more successfully women like the Igbos. The igbo women enjoy more empowerment than any other tribe u can think of. Once it is Igbo, it makes noise. Have u checked out the hausas too? |
Well, it all depends on families. My aunt husband is super rich and he has properties given to his daughters and only son and one adopted son. It all boils down to families and many families have been giving properties to women. Now, this whole stuff started way back as men are assumed to take full responsibilities of their families. To be a man, it is more like u are to face the brutality of life, survive and make it and take care of ur family which u are starting.. Unlike women who get married and are taken care of by the man! So, life generally is already in favour of a woman than a man. This was the idea behind this whole concept. It is quite difficult for a man to be financially raised by his woman, he is assumed to do the needful. This way, a woman is already one step ahead of a man financially. That is why people will look at the size of ur pocket as a man when u want to get married while they careless about that of a woman. To help the male child, families usually give them properties to help them stand and start up another family while the ladies get married and are taken care of or assisted by their husbands to stand too. While we are happy this has now be made legal to will properties to women, even though many families are already doing it. We also need to change so many things to reflect modern life. One is the issue of getting married. Pls, the expenses should not be left to a man alone to bear, in fact, it should be 50/50! Also, women should be ready to spend on men as much as men are willing to spend on women. A woman who is well to do can take up a man who is not well to do and grow him too! I mean, these things should happen effortlessly! As much as men are critically assessed financially when getting married, so should be done to women as well. The world is changing and we all need to change. |
f*ck the guy and u may likely keep him as f*ck mate. The only thing that can be fair here is also allow ur current bf to be f*cking u too. |
sagieramos:hmmmm, really? I have read reviews about that phone but the camera is not all that great compared with the price one will pay for the phone. That was why I didnt care to get it. |
Patrick33:Thank you bro.. I searched on aliexpress, I didnt see. Someone recommended how I can buy it from amazon using a third party company to ship to me at cheaper rate. |
Patrick33:Brand new s10 is around 600 dollars in amazon. Sold by amazon. Shipping is 155 dollars. That is around 750 dollars. I'm still okay with s10. The difference is not much between s10 and s10 plus. The shipping is what is paining me. It is too much. |
where did you buy your samsung s10? new or used? |
Patrick33:I am ready to do 270k! I simply need android. I dont like ios at all. I need s10 or note 9 as u said. But i seem not to find s10 around stores anymore. |
scarycuteface:how is it a joke? |
Bitwilky:who get passion for nigeria again? Aside ur politicians who earn pension for life just for serving one term, other nigerians are just dragging to serve the country becus they arent well taken care of. |
tope3x:west africa is a disgrace to humanity! |
4gunners:We are really shameless. This is why when other countries insult us online, I join them o. We are so shameless. There is nothing we can be proud of that we have working well and standard. Nothing! No one respects someone who cant put his house in order. Africans, aside just a few countries in southern africa, the rest are shameless |
How these leaders are so shameless going abroad to treat them selves. Dont they feel some how that these other countries will be seeing them somehow? It is quite shameful. Make me a president, or even a governor, I will turn my state into medical centre. |
EVILFOREST:Thanks |
PlsBanMe:I wish I could. I can still make do with 250k but 350k, no o! |
candyguyofficia:samsung s10 is around that price on amazon for used one... |
ObaKlaz:Yea, Nigerians in particular are obsessed with money. That is the reason corruption can never end. I don't know why we are like this though. It is so in our gene. We respect money before humanity. |
weyreypey:How? |
Or should I consider buying Samsung s10 foreign used ? |
jeff1607:Yes but they are not rushing to Nigeria as we do to theirs. As we speak, Nigerians are all over the world, ready to do shit to make money. When ur citizens work as cleaners in SA, work as Nannies in SA, and u rarely will find an SA citizen doing same type of work here in Nigeria. How do u think they wont bash us? Bro, make we accept our reality. |
jeff1607:Baba, nigeria is bleeped.. Fulanis slaughtered people anyhow in Kaduna. Abeg, we should fix our country first... And how many South africans do u have here? The south africans u will see in Nigeria are mainly those who came here to work as expatriates. This is unlike Nigerians that are everywhere doing even nanny jobs. There is no respect for anyone who behave the way Nigeria behaves.. if we can fix our country, our people will travel less and we will gain more respect. A lot of Nigerians are stranded in Dubai! Na wa for this country. |
