The question I always ask is that why is it that when a northerner cheat southerner, the southerner will keep quiet but when an igbo does same thing, southerner will shout!

Like i said to someone, if Abacha happened to be Igbo, the way the media would av painted the entire igbo by now becus of Abacha's loot would av been crazy! I mean, he has practically sold this country to northern Nigeria. Name it, all lucrative and strategic positions in the country are headed by northern muslims. This is so wrong, so wrong mehn. It has been like this in the past but not this bad.

So, if only southern Nigeria can come together and work politically, we need to ensure that southern Nigerians who work so hard enjoy the country more. As it is, quota system, federal character, lg structures, fraudulent population, the deliberate nature of the north to over populate becus they want to win election at all cost and feed their region with the money coming from southern nigeria, these things must end or we path ways.

OBJ ruled for 8 years. He also got support from other southern regions. He is from south west. GEJ ruled for 5 years and when he was to win again, south west partnered with north to send him away! West should av done everything possible to support their fellow southerner to remain in power.

Now, north can never do this. No matter how bad a candidate is, as long as he is from the north, a ruling north, they will support him.

Southern Nigeria is more intelligent and more hardworking than northern Nigeria. If southern Nigeria can partner with middle belt, we can deny north from ever occupying that position for life and also change the constitution to remove the over central nature of this current system of govt.

The north does not want restructuring, the north does not want breakup. The north alone cant stand it if they dont have support from southern regions. If the entire insist on this north has no option than to accept.

The truth is that, south east is really doing well in terms of development after the civil war and the occasioned government marginalization.

I doubt if any region in Nigeria would have measured up the level south east has attained at the moment if they had gone through same fate that south east experienced.

They lost about 3million souls coupled with total halt on economic activities and destruction of buildings(residential and industries) for 3years.

Though, much work is still expected but other regions should appreciate them rada than throw banter whenever south east thread is sighted.

Exactly what i keep saying! South east has done well for them selves. North east is not facing a full blown war like south east faced, north east is getting massive fund and FG funding, south east didnt enjoy any of these after the war, rather, many deliberate policies were enacted to hurt the region, yet the region and her people are not the poorest in the country. Unfortunately, it is the same north that is today the poorest region in the entire Africa. It is funny.

I always say it, no region would av survived what south east survived if south easterners are not naturally hardworking.. i mean, u can barely see any FG project in the east, barely. What makes the east is her people! The people are extremely hardworking and the easterner states can compete with any region in Nigeria today...

In general, the entire country is same: it is full of under development. But in per capital income and development, give it to the easterners, they have done well.. Small boko haram war, the entire world is funding north east, north east even has development commission where our collective wealth is been pumped in to help them stand. East didnt have anything like that. So, I say, bravo to the easterners.
