Nigerians should rally round and stop depending on government for us to move forward.

It's no news that unless we increase our productivity as a nation in a larger proportion than our population we would keep experiencing countless recession regardless of the people in power.

It is just sad that we play politics with everything in Nigeria.

Govt officials are paid to make hustling easier.. For instance we need constant power supply, we need good health policy, we need massive investment in education, we need reliable means of transportation, we need high tech research centres, etc, the citizens are not the ones to provide these things since the nation's fund is not in our hands but in the hands of the govt. We pay them to manage our resources and provide these things. They are not to do it with their own money.

We can't grow as long as contracts are still awarded to friends, we cant grow as long as we still use govt agencies to compensate friends and loyal pals, we can't grow as long as we practice these system of govt that allows stated to depend heavily on the central govt.

Exactly what I do. I earn as a freelancer, I use part to buy goods from china, I use Alibaba because it is a bit straight forward than 1688. Though 1688 is cheaper but with good packaging, u will always make reasonable profit..

But bear in mind that igbos are the highest non indigenes who live in other regions.. So the number of voters u see in other regions has a good rate of igbos there..

Igbos in south west alone is huge. So, the voting powers of that region is still very much important..

Igbos vote similarly irrespective of where they are.. Igbos have large numbers of people in the north, south west and south south..

Guy, APC is the worse party I have ever seen or heard of in my life..

From their npower of 30k to this 5k, to sharing onions at election day, APC has shown that they are nothing but a party that enjoys the poverty in the land.

lecturers everyday and at least the VC dismissed the prof who was involved in the sex scandal a few months ago. this is possible
because he was identified , i'm not asking that the SARS be scrapped as such but there should be a way to check mate their activities,was it not
a few days a student was killed in iwo .osun state by a SARS officer that led to the station being burned down?

my point is...there are still good and diligent members of sars..

My point 2 is that we should channel this energy at our politicians, they are the root of these.

we are talking about SARS here and you are talking about lecturers, how many people complain about lecturers and their escapades with ladies? at least lecturers don't kill people anyhow, but gather 100 people to discuss about SARS and i'm sure 98 will say negative things about them.

Pls.. As we have bad lecturers, so we have bad SARS..

We should channel our energy at our politicians..

To kill someone is not only when u take his or her life..

If u forcefully take away someone pride, u have killed him or her..

And take a walk to an institution and u will hear many people complain too about lecturers..

He was coming from the mosque around UI, and they just pounced on him around the bus stop, while he was waiting for a bus, the usual random pick up of innocent people, he just maintained his cool, while being taken to dugbe ,they found his ID and discovered that he was a computer engineer for a company in Ibadan so tbey quickly decided to use the allegation of cyber crime against him in the process they collected the 10k with him, by time they got to the station one senior officer recognized who he was , ol boy ,come see begging ,the man begged him not to involve his uncle in the matter ,in fact they even offered to drop off at where ever he was going to. his 10k was returned sharp,sharp.
Good thing he was related to a top police office in oyo state ,if not na 100k go bail himout.

That some lecturers ask students to sleep with them for grade or collect money, does that make Nigerians glamour to end lecturers?

There are many lecturers who now criminals now, who molest innocent ladies up and down.. Etc.

the same SARS from dugbe office extorted 10k from a computer engineer who is a friend around samonda UI some time ago, was taken to their office where a fake warrant of arrest was prepared for him on the basis that he is wanted by effc, it was later that they discovered that he is the nephew to the Assistant commissioner of police for Oyo state that they started begging him and offered to return the 10k so as not to lose their jobs.

Today is my 5th day in Nigeria ever since I came for a vacation and I have never been harassed by any SARS or whatsoever

Instead, they gave me accurate directions when needs be, tell me more about Nigeria and the role of police in it, gist and laugh with me and even went as far as asking me what I brought for them from Abroad

I was highly impressed

So I gave them a riffle and a cane to beat the hell out of every stubborn Nigerian and continue the good work they've started

If u go to Ibadan, Duge office of SARS in Ibadan, u will see how market women, okada drivers, sellers etc laugh and play with sars officers..

No doubt, some of them are bad.. just like we have bad lecturers, good lecturers, bad doctors, good doctors..

etc, if there are people who need our hate and beating, it is our politicians

APC spends so much on propaganda and PR. It is so annoying how some few PR team love deceiving millions ..
