Nice analysis, but you seem to miss 4 major factors that make it impossible to defeat PMB.
1. In all the 3 occasions PMB was defeated he wasn't the incumbent .But now he is! Or do you think GEJ can get 12m votes if he decides to contest in 2019.
2. Back then election results were easily inflated because there was no detail of number of registered voters in every state. Not to talk of number of accredited voters on election, all of which makes inflating figures near impossible. Therefore PMB's 70% in Northwest is greater than 90% of SS+SE!
3. PMB lacked nationwide structure and belonged to a the opposition party which controlled much less number of states compared to PDP at then. Today he has appointees form every state all ready to work for his reflection.
4. All the times he contested he has always secured more than 10million votes regardless of the party he contested in. No any other politician comes close to that! In fact most of them that have contested before lost to him in the primary election by about 300% margin. People like Atiku who even lost in his own state of origin.
There are actually more points.

Difficult to achieve this since south west always work with north..
