Some of us are software developers. Punch, u should have done ur own investigation. Imagine how lazy Nigeria media can be. U simply interviewed inec staff and that was it.
Did u try to check what type of error was the 500 code?
Did u do secret interviews of top inec tech staff?
I trust foreign media, they can do way better.

Ur country runs a unitary system of govt, so the state of the FG is the state of the federating states. If we do away with this system, u would see how many states would be forced to work very hard and fix things.
Electricity drives industrilization and when u have proper industrilization, the state govt can have enough fund to carry out critical infrastructure. For now, over 95% of Nigeria federaring states are poor.

Nigerians are all equal irrespective of gender, social status, religion and geographical location. The people of Abuja are not superhuman, they are not different from the people of Ekiti state according to Nigeria constitution. 25% in FCT is not mandated to become president. Infact, one can score zero votes in the FCT, get the required 25% in 24 other states and become president. Tinubu presidency has come to stay, accept this fact and save yourself from high blood pressure and depression.
Unfortunately, the constitution made a mistake and used 'and'. That is the issue. There is no emotion in law. And no ignorance in law.
This can be capitalized honestly by strong team of lawers.

Are this people shere or shiere?

Where in the electoral act is transmission of election results is mandatory to be transmitted electronically? Dem wan bend Nigeria electoral act law in their favour.

According to new electoral law, the determination on how to transmit the election results shall be determined by the committe which is INEC an independent body.

Prof Yakubu and Inec was so smart not to transmit the results in the public portal in real time but instead have them in their own server which they waited for the physical delivery of results by both Rec and Scope and compare to what was sent to the Inec server before posting on public portal.

Do you know how confusing it would be if a Candidate A is leading in online portal while candidate B is leading in results declared by INEC.

Those who have evidence of rigging should head to court and present their case without disturbing Nigerians. We go see how concorted results will be admitted as the original results in court
Results taken to state collation centers undergo compromise. No dey cap nonsense baba.
The right thing to do was to upload the result directly from the polling units and sort them out publics using a giant big screen while the whole Nigeria watch.
Nigerians can cap nonsense Shaa

No doubt they can live better, get dewormed etc , but this is a typical village setting with poor child spacing. Ogun state govt can move in to assist them.

If the picture of that old woman was taken bare chested without her permission and told that her picture will be displayed publicly in this manner, the Ogun state govt should get her justice and prosecute you.

See kwashokwor below, taken during the Nigerian civil war in the liberated Eastern Nigerian villages in present day South East Nigeria. You can see the difference is much.

And when network wasn’t good enough for uploading, INEC adhoc staff should sleep at the pooling units for days till they can upload, right?

Is there any significant difference between what has now been uploaded and the results announced at the polling units all over the country??
That is the law. It has to be followed. U are giving reason for not uploading it. I am also giving u reason why INEC can tamper with the data. So, can u see, logically, we are both making a point and both are legit.

Once the results were not uploaded the same day from the polling unit, the integrity has been altered, then. INEC was supposed to ensure that the machine doesnt face network challenge. We gave them 400billion for this.

An election where thugs chansed people away from the polling units and openly, in the presence of police, told people not to vote for another party aside APC. That is not a due process. Infact, APC should be the last set to ask for due process. lol

Why do you guys enjoy lying to yourself? Go to Irev and check if the results have been uploaded or not. All the results are there already so what’s your point?

We have governorship and house of assembly elections to conduct on Saturday and BVAS will be used. The data on BVAS will be transferred to the backend storage unaltered. What else do you guys want?
The point is that the law stated that it must be uploaded directly from the polling unit and not days, days after election. So, what next would you say?

How do I know that it wont be tampered? Like I said, the least the court could do was to grant the IT team of the applicants to monitor the transfer of data, period.

I’m glad common sense prevailed at the end of the day. The judiciary must continue to defend our democracy from parasites and anti-democratic forces who want to grab power at all cost even after losing the election.

The request from Peter Obi’s camp was a senseless one knowing fully well the governorship and house of assembly elections cannot hold without reconfiguring BVAS. We really need sincere and selfless leaders in this country and not characters who don’t mind ruining the entire political process just for their selfish and self serving ambition. Kudos to the court of appeal.
Oga, the process is simple... upload results from the polling units to the INEC server. That was the INEC electoral law which wasnt obeyed. How can someone who candidate won by breaking the law be talking about due process?

How?
The law further stated that if there are issues arising from the result, the INEC chairman was supposed to suspend the declaration until the issues are resolved. Was that attended to? No!
Tell me how there was due process in Tinubu's victory or u guys simply turn a blind eye?

This matter is simple. We have an issue on ground, allow the data transfer to be done while the applicants IT teams also watch and monitors it. That is it!
Allowing INEC to do the uploading alone is wrong.

Nope, if you dont want to burn down your country, Nigeria should practice justice. You can't keep cheating people and because of the fear of chaos, we let it go.
The greatest threat to Nigeria is injustice and must be discouraged.

Nigerians budgeted huge amount of money for this election from their sweat and wanted electronic transmission of result. INEC had fund, I mean, they had massive fund that even universities struggles to get, yet, INEC failed. And we should let it slide?

The only we to let it slide is to get justice.
Either INEC chairman, resignes, get tried in the court and sent to jail. We can not continue like this na. Haba!

If Nigeria can get elections rightly, we have solved 60 percent of our problems. The entire world has been complaining about the election.
How can u transmist national assembly results electronically and failed to do same for presidential? How?

These politicians take us for a ride. I mean, the money budget for INEC is our sweat.
This type of nonsense happened in Kenya and it caused chaos. The chaos it caused helped them to improve their elections.
We too dey fear for Nigeria.
How can thugs on video shown, in front of police men, tell people not to vote except they vote for APC.
Where is that thug? we want him arrested, sentenced to jail. These are the ways to avoid chaose.
As long as u keep letting stuff like this slide, we will surely run into chaos someday and it would be brutal.
To avoid chaos in Nigeria, we must practice justice system.

People like Joke Da Silva, Seyi Law, Eniola Badmus and other celebrities who didn't succumb to the bullying and intimidation deserve commendation.

Those who could abuse, bully, curse anyone online for their political choice are capable of doing same thing physically if given the chance.

The incidence at Lekki is unfortunate, but why close your eyes to the obvious one at Akwuzu River where bodies were clearly seen?

Lagos government even set up a panel of enquiry into the incidence and all parties represented. Guess what happened somewhere else, someone who should be questioned went to court to prevent being grilled by the panel.

I expect that the same energy deployed in dragging Lagos Govt should be directed to whoever was the Gov at Anambra when the bodies were found at Akwuzu River.

It all reek of double standard, hypocrisy and perhaps a path towards a predetermined agenda.
when I read about bullying, I laugh. Abeg, who started online political bullying if not APC from 2014. There are countless tweets showing core APC supporters bullying people. Do we really forget so soon? Omo, I weak for this country. U bullied people and they bullied back and u are lamenting. APC bullied so much online that they hired specialists to do this since 2014. They now met set of people who learnt from them and gave them same energy and they are tagging them bullies. lol! Nigerians can forget shaa.
We can show tweets coming from core APC supporters and even Buhari led government with tribal tweets. lol!

And how come Obi became an Igbo thing? Omo, this country weak me. People were tired of APC and wanted a change. People wanted younger people becus of what Buhari's old age did to this country. People also wanted to teach Nigeria political class a lesson that power belongs to the people. These were some of the factors that made Obi a selling products and he pulled such incredible results within such a short period of time of moving to an unknown party without teaming up with other parties. That says a lot. So, if only Igbos could pull such results for Obi, that means Igbos are strong then.
Oga, make una no dey decieve una selves, Obi is not about Igbo, Obi is about the three things I listed up there and there were countless millions of non Igbos who came out to vote for him.
The key factors that made Obi to sell:

People were tired of APC. And yes, APC failed in all statistics which I can give u and everyone knows
2: people were scared of another old man ruling Nigeria and it is obvious in his campaigns as he messed up with speeches and made funny blunders. Judging from Buhari's experience, people wanted a change from such
3: people wanted to take back power and teach elites a lesson that the masses can decide who rule instead of rigging. And the coming of Obi into the picture made the election tougher.
4: people were worried of a candidate who avoid debate just how Buhari did. Buhari was a failure in everything from security, to electricity, to water, to education, to health, to roads, to tribalism, to corruption, etc. The list goes on.
We wanted a leader we can ask questions, who can address us, etc.
I cant count the number of people from Edo, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Kogi, etc who carried Obi matter for head. They arent Igbo.
Make una dey talk truth for this country. No wonder after 60 years, this country has solved no single problem. Every problem we had since independence is still here and even worse. Shame. We are liars as a country. Shame.

Oga, this is not about Tinubu or Obi. It is about Nigeria doing the right thing. Are you Nigerians not tired of doing the wrong things and still struggling with ordinary electricity in 2023? Are you Nigerians that shameless? Come on, do the right thing. Get elections right and elect the right people thru the right process and not through fraud and you will have a working country.

As long as elections, census, are all done in fraudulent ways in Nigeria, we can never ever get it right.

The electoral act wasnt followed for presidential election but was adhered to for national assembly election. Can't you sense fraud written all over this?

Like seriously there’s one thing very annoying about obi supporters n if they aren’t careful it might put some of them in trouble

It’s like they have all been programmed to believe tinubu is coming to kill them, that’s what u hear from them in different places they talk.

Two annoying scenarios have happened here today

The first one
Imagine we all went to eat at a restaurant, 3 men were talking about election on a table n from their conversation u know they are friends n they had election bet, 2 was supporting tinubu n one peter obi, they we’re having their discussion without insulting anyone.

One girl on another table that doesn’t know them n they don’t know him just said “na u go suffer am”……..na so one man from d 3 guys just stood up n told the girl

I have been a millionaire in my 20’s n now I am approaching 50, I am d ceo of this n that n I have this n this n I have never been a politician so what’s your problem. The man was so annoyed that it took d intervention of people there to calm him down, the lady couldn’t even wait to finish her food before she left………even d man supporting Peter obi among d 3 friends was angry but he just had to caution himself

Same thing happened here not quite long, d same line of “na u go suffer am” is the same thing this girl dropped when she’s doesn’t even know d people discussing

It’s highly annoying

Imagine another one saying here that Igbo man will go back to his business or work after election, so na other tribes no get work or business?

These people are highly annoying

It’s like they are intentionally looking for ways to get people angry
So, Tinubu supporters are not annoying too? All of them are saints? All Tinubu supporters are Saint, don't abuse, don't insult, are polite? Answer me.
