American Presidents and politicians are generally elected by the people to serve the people; Nigerian politicians are elected by themselves to serve and enrich themselves. |
defemz:Gbam!Well reasoned piece. I agree with you 100%. You kept it real. These Northern Muslims reason under the dictates of their religion, and they want to use impose their reasoning on the nation. All those Malos in Abuja will not unequivocally repudiate the actions of that retard, Sani Yerima. As long as those Malos remain the majority in power, Nigeria will never progress. |
illiteracy in general is a mild disease; but when you have illiteracy among Northern Muslims, you have a malignant disease which will invariably become an epidemic. |
^^^^Bros, if Venus exposes all her backside as shown in the pictures, her backside is subject to the comments criticisms of fans. She didn't have to show all of her smelly arse like that. |
lastpage:I hope you remember you are part of the folks who are gossiping and mentally lazy. |
Ewww!!! Her arse stinks through the picture. Spray the air frehsner! |
Since she is ugly, assless, and hipless, and some may even make an argument that she looks like a man in that her excessively lean physique and facial features appear masculine, wearing a short athletic dress that easily reveals an undergarment that in turn not only practically reveals her privates but is also the color of her skin, thereby blending with her skin tone, is a worrisome, desperate attempt to bring upon her body attention that she may otherwise not have received. |
kazman7:This lifestyle is common to footballers from other nations, and to wealthy athletes in general, not just to Nigerian athletes. If you want to pinpoint the causes for the Super Eagles's poor performance, use your brain to pinpoint a factor that which is peculiar to Nigerian footballers. |
marry both of them on your wedding day. If Baba 70 (Fela Anikulapo) can marry 30 opekes in one day, why can't you man up and marry 2, only 2. |
Iyineda:The basis upon which I said that the statements on this thread shows why Nigeria is in its current state is that many Nigerians lack patience and want excellent results without adequate preparation, without giving merit, and without taking some reasonable risks. Today, Largerback was experimenting, preparing, and giving untested players a chance to prove themselves, all before he selects his final 23. The objective of today's game was not winning but to field untested players in a competitive environment, and some people cannot understand that simple rationale. If he wanted to win he could have used his best 11, and everyone would have been commending him without inquiring as to other untested players who may be talented. Bottom line, he is trying to provide the opportunity for all the players to showcase their skill, the results on which he would base his final selection. This is a mere friendly game for goodness sake, and what better way to test players than in a friendly game that does not count. At least he is unlike Amodu who makes his selection without merit, logic, reason, but on nepotism. |
All the posts in this forum show why Nigeria is in its current state. This is the first match, and considering it was an experimental match, it was not bad at all. The coach is doing what a rational coach will do--that is, give players a chance to prove themselves before releasing them. Now that he has played Kanu, he will be acting within his bounds if he decides to release Kanu and the other nonperforming players. Remember, he has 30 boots in his camp, and only 11 players will start. By the time he plays his third friendly, he will know which players whom are worthy of making the starting eleven. Then, all these criticisms will be valid if the reasoning behind the criticism are based upon representative data of three matches or so, not on only one match. But for now, these criticisms are without merit. Mind you also, Saudi Arabia is a footballing nation and a tough team; there are no longer any easy defeats in football. |
which kind of campaign after election is this? Why did this make home page after, or near to the end, the match. |
Why is this thread not on the homepage? The homepage is filled with lesser important topics. Na waa for out moderators, sha! |
Pharoh:You are wrong on two ends. Get your ish right, my brother. Argentina beat Canada 5-0, and it is elementary that Canada is not a footballing nation but a hockey and winter sports nation. Saudi is not small, for Saudi is a footballing nation. Shikenah. |
People are talking as though lawyers are the only professionals in Nigeria who receive such paltry wages? This problem of paying low wages affects all other occupations, including doctors, nurses, architects, and the like. I read about in one of the posts about how one driver makes more than some lawyers. Well, that is very possible because there is always an exception to the rule. Similarly, in the western world, it is not uncommon for certain chauffeurs, especially those employed by wealthy celebrities, to earn more than some doctors, but we all know that is is an exception to the norm. Lawyers, at least in Yankee, unlike other professionals, have a better chance of a high earning potential, which usually comes after years of hard work, and the money is usually earned by the contingency fees recovered after a favorable settlement or judgment. If you are a lazy lawyer, on the other hand, then you will probably not make as much money as a lawyer who gets his hand dirty, and you may work in the public sector or doing transactional work. But we all know that in Nigeria the economy is bad, and that is why lawyers, doctors, nurses, and many professionals flee the country in search of greener pastures. It is not just lawyers who receive paltry wages. |
Ask her for ori, and if she refuses to give you ori, tell to carry her ori and get the phuck outta here. |
The pitch on which the Sunshine Stars v. Ranch Bees match was played, together with its surroundings, is in a run-down state. I mean what does it take to maintain a pitch on which a Div. 1 Professional League match is played? Get it together, guys! |
Mazi, you don't need to consult the oracle to know why your girlfriend called your friends' names during intimacy. |
Mazi, maybe because you were not driving the caterpillar in the right direction, but your friends were controlling the eighteen wheeler very well. |
Mazi, why our boiz dey phuck up now? |
These Northern Muslims have shown that they do not intend to abide by the Constitution of Nigeria but follow Sharia Law. These Muslims never cease to stir up some kind of drama, whether it is religious violence or marrying underage girls, it is always something, and they justify these morally repulsive behaviors with the passages in "The Holy Koran." God help Nigeria. |

A lot of people who are fearing Argentina have inferiority complex, for all they fear is the name "Argentina," and not the actual threat of the team. The reason is that if you research the Argentine team's recent performances, you will realize that they have not performed very well and, just like Nigeria, struggled to qualify for the World Cup, losing 6-1 to Bolivia, losing 2-1 to Brazil, losing to Paraguay, and losing to a string of other weaker teams. The Argentine team, with the exception of Messi, is not as good as you guys seem, and since soccer is a team sport, one man cannot carry a team all by himself. You need 11 players ready to play before you can be successful, for Messi cannot be a striker as well as a midfielder and defender; he cannot do it all by himself. My point that is that anything can happen when we face Argentina, and it saddens me to see Nigerians assume that a loss is all but assured. If you travel to the World Cup with the mindset that you will lose to Argentina and not advance past the first round, what is the point of even going. Why not withdraw to give opportunity to another team that has faith that they can beat even the best? |
oyinda.:Because a girl is not playing hard to get does not necessarily mean that she accepts going to bed with every guy who offers to bed her. It just means she does not play yanga and childish games when she is genuinely interested in the guy, and she does not fail to show interest in the guy just because she feels that playing hard to get is the right thing to do. I get a feeling you are one of those chicks who play hard to get. |
supereagle:It is relevant because it may provide a reason as to why people associate left handedness with negativity. |
piggybacking on the poster's theory, there is no compelling or sensible reason to talk to ugly, shapeless (wowo) girls, for the ugly ones are more likely to play hard-to-get in the relationship and in giving up the kitty, in an attempt to compensate for the shortfall in their attractiveness. A pretty girl generally has nothing to prove. And even if decide to deal with the hard-to-get game, you might as well take it from a pretty girl because ugly girls will give you equal or greater amounts of drama with their hard-to-get game. |
Pweety4me:Respect her choices, huh! Yes. He should respect her choices but realize she does not really care for him. Because the story is usually that the mugu guy respects her choices until some other guy breaks the kitty repeatedly. |
The goats shall be placed on the left side, while the sheeps shall be placed on the right side. On which side would you rather be? |
dustydee:I'll rather believe in evolution--considering there are still some scientific basis upon which evolution is based--than worship the skeletal remains of a human being. Why should I worship the remains of a human being like me? Above all, this story shows the state of religion in Nigeria, where economic problems and the quest for material wealth have made people highly vulnerable to falling prey to the deception of false prophets and their senseless, ungodly doctrines. |
Movies showcase arts & culture, and if watching Yoruba movies enrages you as much as you proclaim, why don't you do yourself a favor by not watching them. |
Taye Taiwo should be dropped. He cannot maintain focus for 90 minutes, for around the 75th minute of play, he thinks of amala and ewedu soup with cow leg, which gives the opposing strikers a chance to score. |
