About final year projects, you see those lecturers , they win research grants alot but will never use the money judiciously. They'll rather buy new cars, build houses, students hostels and carry young departmental and faculty girls, take them shopping, buy suya worth 5k for them and look for a nearby hotel for hot sex. It's the same reason why some lecturers will cancel your project after going a long way. It's because they want you to work on another thing or you're not doing what they really want.

After you've graduated and they've finished extracting the important things from your works, it suffers the same fate as the picture above.
