Well said,those pics are quite funny but still contain some meaningful messages. The principle of reducing or eliminating belly fat cum overall weight gain is this "eat less and exercise more". "Eat less" here means consumption of healthy meals in moderate proportion as well as minimizing the consumption of unhealthy meals. Then exercise more. Exercise could be in form of weight-lifting(my favourite), cardios, resistance training(pull-ups, push-ups and the likes), yoga, dancing etc. Suck your belle, make your shirt fine for body. |
How is her diet like? Loosing belly fat is not and will never be a one day affair. It is a lifestyle approach. You said ur fiancee does not like exercises. What are her reason(s)? Exercising cannot be over-emphasized as well as good diets. Forget those weight-loss drugs, they are all hog-wash. |

A kid should not subject himself to the stress and rigours that come with intense work-outs. For crying out loud, this children are still growing and they could end up with their bones fused together and calcified prematurely. The ideal age, a kid should start those workouts should be in his late teens (18 or 19), by that time, he would have a high level of testosterone (male sex hormone) responsible for muscle-building. That is not take anything away from the kids though. They are doing great but need to pipe down a little. |

@kindredspirit, sorry about the slip in the bathroom. Yes, i know how it feels when it seems as if you are not making improvements in your phsyique cum muscle development. From your post, i was able to deduce that you try to workout five times in a week. That is too much for a beginner. 3 times per week and on alternate days is ideal. I hope you have a programme you are following, it is very neccessary. You talk about ur tight work schedules. Well, it is quite understandable but i must say kudos to you. It shows you are indeed determined and resilient. One thing is this, no matter how busy one is, there must always be time to indulge in things he or she loves doing. So like i will always say "create time". Also try to work on your diet because i know people with tight work schedules rarely eat nutritous food. They mostly eat "food on the go" or "junk foods". So please eat right. As for the shoulder injury it will heal. Just minimize the range of movements that cause you severe pain to the shoulder. A month plus is too short to throw in the towel. Provided you are doing everything right, you will definitely build muscles. Patience is indeed an important virtue for building muscles. |
Wow, it's been ages i last updated our thread, no thanks to my ........ But i am back and better. I believe we are all keeping it real in the iron room. No jokes, those muscles must always be pumped up. I will be making an update tomorrow. Remember that weight-lifting is a lifestyle approach to permanent bodyfat loss. You cannot be weight-lifting naturally and still have low testosterone level,it is not just possible. Why should you have diabetes when you are in the iron room doing your thing with the iron and consistently burning fats and using up blood glucose. Please and please, you cannot be a real man and not lift. Muscles are meant for us and how do you get them, JUST LIFT. |
Are you for real? What is bum bum in the first place? The buttocks is purely adipose tissues(fat) and water. So what is the fuss about having uncalled for "fats" that will become riddled with cellulite later. Moreover an increase in a woman's body weight will surely make her butt bigger. So there is no food that will make a lady's buttocks bigger without making her have overall increase in body-fats. |

Hmmm, over 3 decades in constant pain, something i would not wish for anyone not even my enemy. I saw a man with this condition some weeks back and i was amazed at the sight of the huge tumours popping on his face. God i thank you for my life. |

Very informative. But it is very neccessary one focuses on the value or the need ones' product or services is satisfying before having or developing a brand name of high repute. Most businesses in nigeria can't stand the test of time, reason been that they don't offer value and quality for their merchandise. So many substandard goods sold at exorbitant prices.The earlier we wake up to these realities and thrive to make amends the better for us. |

madeinnigeria:If you are very conversant with lagos, you could go to surulere(national stadium), there are some many sports shop where you can get good dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands and so much more. I just purchased a pair of adjustable chrome steel dumbbells both wearing 60kg together for 36,000 naira at surulere. You could still go the "local" way of using heavy flywheels for constructing barbells. |

Nice and very informative post. But some of these are just generalizations and not established facts. But all the same add this 13 ibs of muscles to your arms to post more good stuffs.

The irony of life. As a person is looking for ways to add weight, so also is another looking for "ways" to shed it. If i may ask you, did your bodyfats come upon you overnight? I know your answer would be a definite "no". So why look for quick ways to shed your body-fats acquired over a long period of time. Do you even know the side effects of those slimming drugs, they can mess up your body metabolism. You want to quit jogging. Are you one of those that jog and after go and eat burgers or pizzas with soda drinks? Am afraid because that jogging of yours is just an exercise in futility. Like i tell anyone that wants to shed bodyfats. Shedding of excess bodyfats takes a lifestyle approach and not a one-off thing. Make sure you are eating fat-burning foods on a consistent basis as well as increasing your physical activity. You don't need to sit down for more than 3 hours in a day least to become a "couch potato". Rome was never built in a day. Thank you. |

The guy with the stripped shirt of course(shorter guy). He has a more matured muscle development and i can even see his abs from his shirt(meaning low body-fat percentage). His pecs are more pronounced. Muscle wise, the shorter guy nailed it. The white guy should shed some bodyfat to look leaner and meaner. |
