Boomboost:Nice one. But you need to add strength-training to your workout routine. That is the only way to add slabs of muscles. Just imagine you putting on some muscles on your arms, chests,lats,traps,delts and your quads, your abs is already done,just some fine tuning. You become the "GREEK GOD HERCULES". |
Very informative. I am giving you 12 lbs of pure muscles for this. Sugar in itself is not bad most especially the natural ones. The problem here are the refined sugars. I quit adding sugar to my tea and pap many years ago, this later extended to cakes, ice-cream, artificial fruit juice and the likes. And i can tell anyone for free that i have not for a single day regretted taking that decision. Recently, i was at a function and i was given cake. As i took a bit of it,it was just too sugary but i was suprised seeing people eating theirs with relish, most of them were asking for me. The kind of "epidemic diabetes" waiting to happen will be too bad. Guys stay from refined sugars, it kills sexual stamina. Your waist go lock as u dey ontop woman. |

You see dem chasing the "elusive" money up and down at the expense of their health. The little cheese they make will then be used to offset health bills and the likes. Explorer, i am giving you 12 lbs of pure lean muscles for this post of yours. Fats in itself is not dangerous because we all need fats to survive. The main thing is the location of the fats. Having large quantity of visceral fats can be very deadly. I see people saying i am not fat and i can eat anything i want. I pity you. Ever heard of skinny fats. A person might have a thin body frame but inside na fat full am. A woman having fats in her thighs,hips and buttocks without the "drum" belly is far healthier than a skinny woman with a "drum" belly. For guys, abeg una dey fall my hand. I am tired of seeing young guys(below 40) looking like a pregnant jagaban. Abeg go hard on your body and pump those muscles out. Kill the fats and eat healthy. This is very true. Truth be told anytime i engage in early morning sex before my workout, i feel so energised that my early morning workouts felt so good. I noticed the volume(sets and reps) of my exercises increased tremendously. I think this can also be attributed to the release of endorphins during orgasm. But for those suffering from hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases,don't try this. Na only guys wey get fitness, fit do this one. |
This post is so informative. The trend of girls wanting to look a certain way is indeed disheartening. Forget what you see on billboards, magazines and the likes. Most of those girls go through cosmetic surgeries to look that way. It is good to have a healthy weight which can be achieved by careful selection of good and nutritous diets as well as exercising. But not going the deleterious line of taking weightloss pills, vomiting, taking of diuretics, starvation and the likes. If kim kardashian, nicki minaj, j-lo and most runway models tell you what they do to look that way, then you would know that it is not worth it. We men don't have much problems. Mickey7:Why not? You don't need any support at all. The reason you have a barbell is not only as a form of resistance but also for support. You don't have to go down too fast. Also make sure the support below your feet is not too high. |

Always remember that for each exercise you must always use the maximun weight that you know your body can lift in very good form for 12 reps per set. This is very important. So take for example that you can bench press 90kg in proper form for 15 reps, it therefore means that a slight increase in the weight will see that your reps would reduce. Probably 5-7kg increment could yield a 12 reps exercise using proper form. |
Warm-up exercise will take about ten mins. Then you engagse in close-grip bench-press using the barbells, with sets of 3-6 with reps of 6-12. This is followed by back squats still using the barbells for 3-6 sets with reps of 6-12. Then proceed to bent over-row with the same number of sets and reps like the previous. This is followed by chin-up(wide-grip). Military barbell press comes next, calf raise follows and finally barbell curls. These exercises should take 3-6 sets with 6-12 reps. After this, a cool-down of 5 mins follows. You could still engage in some light stretching for 10 mins. Duration of this program should take between 6-8 weeks before progressing to the "split" programs. Frequency of the program should be 3 workout sessions per week with a one-two rest day(s) between. This depends on your muscle recovery period. Then a recovery time of 30 sec-1 min 30 secs between exercises during a workout session is prefarable. |
Like i promised before, i will be giving us some real good workout programmes to make use of. As a beginner, it is always pertinent to begin from basic programs. This will provide whole-body-workouts. From the basic program, one then progress to the split programs. When i mean split programs, i am talking about programs that hits on separate muscles of the upper and lower regions of the body separately. |
