Otherwise I’m in 100% agreement.

scholes0. I noticed you haven’t really said much as far as most populous tribe in Nigeria goes once it was established that Hausas are actually the smallest. You running out of ways to degrade Igbos?

bigfrancis21:
Igbos are not excessively sizable in most of those cities you mentioned because economic opportunities are not plentiful compared to Lagos (former nation's capital) where 6 or 7 out of 10 migrating Igbos would go to. That explains the difference.

You are yet to tell us, for the sake of history, why Oba Rilwan nearly peed in his pants over '5% Igbos' choosing to vote in Agbaje. The lion isn't scared of a cat, is it? wink tongue

Aunty scholes0 is getting worked up like her twin sister sisiekoorioda....sorry ma o. But once again, 30% to 45% is more like it, ma. cool
I’m with you for the most part but calling someone female shouldn’t be used as an insult.

I've been to Lagos a couple of times and I know what I observed. A proper census in Lagos will shock you. cheesy

There's a reason Oba Rilwan and Yoruba alike were shaky and scared when they thought Igbos would vote massively for Agbaje. They knew we had the population, coupled with SS groups, to topple the ruling class, for a free and fair election. Go figure.

Once again, anywhere between 30% to 45% is more like it. cool
Any official Nigerian censuses conducted by half-civilised people (aka non-Igbo haters) available for reading, you know?
Culture › Re: Why Can't People Embrace Pan-africanism? Why So Much Hatred On This Forum?? by Probz(m): 5:37pm On Oct 08, 2018
Because most black peoples have a deeply rooted inferiority complex. And it’s not entirely without cause.
Culture › Re: Most Populous Tribe In Nigeria by Probz(op): 11:52pm On Oct 06, 2018
Bump. Bearing in mind that the real Hausa population (Fulani excluded) has been established around the order of 25 million.
Romance › Re: The Libra Female- Personality Traits And Love by Probz(m): 3:18am On Oct 05, 2018
bigfrancis21:
Lol, you need to understand that zodiac characteristics are not always 100% comprehensive to every one. At least 70% to 80% will apply to you and the rest may not due to influences from your environment, culture or even certain tendencies/habits a soul tends to develop over time from several past lifetimes. I'm a Libra male myself and at least 85% of what i've read about Librans on literally all zodiac websites apply to me. Some do not and this is because they may be more applicable to the writer of the article due to cultural or environmental difference between where I grew up and where they grew up.

Zodiac signs and their influences are real and tend to have a greater influence on people born under them. Depending on certain lessons a soul needs to learn in an upcoming lifetime, some souls choose to be born under a prevailing zodiac sign just for its influence that they need for that particular lifetime. Think about certain babies suddenly being born prematurely by a few weeks or a month early, or overstaying by a few weeks or a soul finding the perfect pregnant mother due for delivery in a zodiac month of their choice. There's quite a lot to this world than meets the eye.

Anyway, my 2 cents jare. wink cheesy
Libra huh. Happy birthday season.

Igbo women appear to have a long history of being... "headstrong" (for lack of a better word). From the powerful Umuokpu/Umuada to the Nwaobiala Movement of 1925 and the Women's War of 1929. There is a common trend.

They have always been assertive.
Imo State women in particular.

If you're respectful and co-operative when pulled over, you'd have little to no issues at all. For the few times I've been pulled over, i've never gotten a ticket. The officer always comes out with a warning (don't do it again), and I must admit that all those times I was pulled over, they were because I had been slightly over-speeding or I had switched lanes abruptly (trying to make it to an appointment) etc. I've never been pulled over while driving 'simply because i'm black'. Also, Nigerians understand very well that the police has power and they are doing their job so they defer to authority.

Also, I've noticed that my accent tends to help me also. On several occasions, upon walking to my window to speak I've noticed the officer's countenance as one of caution or fear but as soon as they hear my accent, they all tend to relax and become friendly. Been driving for several years now, never been ticketed for once.
Speaking akata Igbo now are you?

I don’t know how many Nairalanders are in need of specialised help but in here can go anything and everything allied to mental illness.

I’ll kick-start this topic by challenging some myths about psychiatry but like I say this is the thread to discuss mental health and illness. Ask your questions.

People from either side need to accept that we share foods in common’s the bottom line I’m trying to get across at least. I like a lot of Yoruba food putting aside the stereotypes. It’s never that deep.

Yoruba people whose egusi can’t even pass Hausa’s own.

People from either of the main sides need to allow their attitude of superioriry and learn that common soups and words are share between Igbo and Yoruba because we share the same Igbotic root.

And either way Igbos do better justice to egusi soup than westerners ever can. Tell your Eko and Ibadan squad to stick to gbegiri and ewedu. Your egusi’s so rank I wouldn’t even let a dog eat it. You people are absolutely useless when it comes to real ofes. Have your party jollof rice and your efo riro stew but your egusi is jokes. That’s a fact.

It’s shared between Igbos and Yorubas.

They did pretty much universally until trousers were invented only a century or two back.

And so did your ancestors before the white man came. And so do traditional village men.

It’s funny watching you people hang onto Eurocentric dress codes that have been in existence some 200 years.

Unless it’s standardised by Mensa IQ tests are useless.

100’s bang on average as far as IQ goes and there’s only a select few countries that can boast of an average IQ reaching into triple digits. Nigeria’s not one of them (unless you’re Igbo).

That’s not exactly true though is it. Jellof rice has been cooked in Igboland since time immemorial. And mai-mai.

The rest of Nigeria know these things as jollof rice and moin-moin through the Yorubas. But jellof rice and mai-mai are as Igbotic as food comes.

Stay in your Yoruba lane when it comes to shared foods.
