PoliticsRe: Aftermath Of 2023 Election: Are Old Naira Notes Coming Back? by profmallor: 12:49pm On Mar 01, 2023
This policy was introduced to stop Tinubu, now that that has failed can they at least allow us go back to living?. At least Buhari should endeavor to close quietly although he has been a colossal failure.

Those who confess suferring will suffer for the next 4, 8 years as they confess.

Godwin4444:
Like seriously there’s one thing very annoying about obi supporters n if they aren’t careful it might put some of them in trouble

It’s like they have all been programmed to believe tinubu is coming to kill them, that’s what u hear from them in different places they talk.

Two annoying scenarios have happened here today

The first one
Imagine we all went to eat at a restaurant, 3 men were talking about election on a table n from their conversation u know they are friends n they had election bet, 2 was supporting tinubu n one peter obi, they we’re having their discussion without insulting anyone.

One girl on another table that doesn’t know them n they don’t know him just said “na u go suffer am”……..na so one man from d 3 guys just stood up n told the girl

I have been a millionaire in my 20’s n now I am approaching 50, I am d ceo of this n that n I have this n this n I have never been a politician so what’s your problem. The man was so annoyed that it took d intervention of people there to calm him down, the lady couldn’t even wait to finish her food before she left………even d man supporting Peter obi among d 3 friends was angry but he just had to caution himself
Bros, all your see there is bitterness. The bitterness would not have been this much if Atiku won, the under tone is sadly tribalist.

Same thing happened here not quite long, d same line of “na u go suffer am” is the same thing this girl dropped when she’s doesn’t even know d people discussing

It’s highly annoying

Imagine another one saying here that Igbo man will go back to his business or work after election, so na other tribes no get work or business?

These people are highly annoying

It’s like they are intentionally looking for ways to get people angry
PoliticsRe: MC Oluomo Celebrates Tinubu's Presidential Win (Video) by profmallor: 9:21am On Mar 01, 2023
Toor, Obi finally made it possible for Tinubu to be president. While Obi sincerely brought encouraged many new voters to come onboard, the final outcome would have been different if any of the 2 had been humble enough to accept to be a deputy, but everyone wants to be the President due to ego and tribalist tendencies.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Wins Rivers State Presidential Election by profmallor: 7:41pm On Feb 28, 2023
Take it easy, this shall pass, we would all laugh at the end.

PresidentAtiku:
HOPER

You robbed people in this time of civilization are you are still hoping?

Maybe the military will kill everyone and leave APC supporters to build the Tinubu Nigeria

How about that
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Sighted today At the Asaba Airport. In High Spirits by profmallor: 6:53pm On Feb 28, 2023
Obi has done very well, I believe he has single handedly moved the East to LP and now they newly emerging leaders in the east must show they are different from the current bunch of corrupt leaders.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Defeats Atiku, Obi In Niger State by profmallor: 8:00pm On Feb 27, 2023
As much as Tinubu might be tempted to be vindictive post elections, he must appreciate Peter Obi's presence at this election as it was to his benefit, Losing Lagos would painful but thats a wake up call to them to roll up their sleeves and work.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Defeats Atiku, Peter Obi In Jigawa by profmallor: 3:41pm On Feb 27, 2023
You, did you vote for LP, no!. You voted Obi, the same way they have chosen to vote Tinubu and not APC. People voted for the person they believe would move them forward. Everyone knows Buhari is a failure, but that the north would line up behind Tinubu i am in awe.

FlawlessKarl:
shocked

The northerners truly deserve the treatment they received from Fulani herdsmen. I was here disturbing myself over the rate of insecurity in up north, pitying them when they're being slaughtered in thousands everyday, and the level of poverty there, blaming Buhari mostly for their woes, I didn't know they love all these ills that happens to them.

Tell me why a rational being after seeing the obvious woes of this administration will gladly vote for APC ? Northerners henceforth enjoy your woes and suffering. I can only pity the few rational ones and the few Christians over there.

I am waiting for any northerner to hold my hand here in uyo and beg for alms, as they are fun of that, the way I will unleash my anger on the idiot, he or she will live to regret it.
PoliticsRe: Labour Party Defeats PDP, Wins Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Reps Seat by profmallor: 1:33pm On Feb 27, 2023
Now that LP have structure, the tendency for Obi to become a God father in LP is now on the table, LP have take over the east, now the east have a golden opportunity to get it right and lead the country in reforms that would challenge other regions to follow suit.
PoliticsRe: Let Us Deliver Sanwo-Olu, Let's Do Door To Door Campaign- Dayo Israel by profmallor: 1:21pm On Feb 27, 2023
There are yoruba's in LP that are poised to take over, this whole thing is no ones fault but APC's they got too complacent and relegated governance to the background. They better get off that high horse and fight cause now LP people are energized. you need more than 20K to win lagos governorship.

Thedon22:
End Godfatherism by voting an Ibo that has no substantial track record, abi ? It's not your fault. It's the fault of those children using the left hand to point to their father's houses. You Ibos are simply protecting your interests while some dumb Yoruba youths are mortgaging theirs.
PoliticsRe: Let Us Deliver Sanwo-Olu, Let's Do Door To Door Campaign- Dayo Israel by profmallor: 1:18pm On Feb 27, 2023
Now you need PDP to win back lagos, see how things change. Now it depends on who PDP want to make Gov, LP have been energized, how the mighty are about to fall.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Wins In Lagos, Beats Bola Tinubu by profmallor: 12:26pm On Feb 27, 2023
Tinubu last lagos, now thats a lesson in not taking people for granted, at some point they will revolt.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Wins Gombe, Sweeps All 11 LGAss by profmallor: 10:15am On Feb 27, 2023
Sincerely, the greatest favour anyone could have done APC was to split PDP votes, its been obvious so far at least in the south.

Think9ja:
We told igbos to support Atiku so that they don't both miss out, they refused.
Now both Atiku and Obi are losing.
I voted for Atiku and I have no regrets whatsoever
PoliticsRe: The Biggest Winner Of This Election Is The North - Reno Omokri by profmallor: 12:36pm On Feb 26, 2023
I think it's best to separate this country. Obedient spent a large portion of their time smearing Tinubu while Atiku, a northern, was barely scratched, this created the impression in a lot of Yorubas and even northerners that this whole Obi thing was rooted in tribalism. Insulting Tinubu was unnecessary, Buhari has made the nation inhabitable for everyone so a focus driven campaign would have gathered more sympathy towards the Labour Party. The election was made to feel like the civil war all over again. Post elections, I doubt all that bad energy would just disappear.
PoliticsRe: The Biggest Winner Of This Election Is The North - Reno Omokri by profmallor: 12:28pm On Feb 26, 2023

The northerners are the true Nigerians.

PoliticsRe: Aerial View Of APC Campaign For Tinubu In Bichi LGA Kano State by profmallor: 11:01pm On Feb 20, 2023
5K with Buhari's ill-conceived policy is to much to gather such a crowd at these times. I received a 1K cash gift from a friend yesterday and despite me having money in the bank, its been a while I came across 1K and it looked so significant in my hands, Politicians need not spend so much to buy votes now, the suffering in the land is way too much. Buhari has created a stupid mess in his fight against vote buying.

Wow this man don spend so much of his looted funds
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Visits His Eminence Baba Aladura, Elder David Bob-Manuel (Pics) by profmallor: 9:29am On Feb 20, 2023
On Saturday Nigerians would vote, many would vote for their chosen candidates not so much of what they have offered or can offer but just solely because they dont want someone else in particular to win. Tribalism would play out, what a pity

PoliticsRe: Vote-Buying: Politicians Plot New Strategies To Bypass Cash Crunch by profmallor: 10:25am On Feb 19, 2023
The more suffering you inflict on people the less the incentives you need to buy them over. In the time of plenty people might not take N20,000 from you because they have a choice, but at times of lack, even N1000 might look so BIG. This situation would only benefit the politicians at the end of the day. An hungry man cannot think straight.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Vs Southampton (0 - 1) On 18th February 2023 by profmallor: 9:32pm On Feb 18, 2023
At least the owners should know by now that English coaches are crap in Soccer. Potter is a good coach, just not the sort of coach that can handle a team a BIG as Chelsea, we now have the players, we just need a sound orchestrator. Probably that would happen next season.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Out To Truncate Democracy - Governor Ganduje by profmallor: 9:28am On Feb 17, 2023
Therefore, this is even beyond not wanting someone to win the election; it is democracy itself they don’t want. They want to set up an interim government committee like that of (Ernest) Shonekan.

Those who think this is all about curbing Tinubu would be shocked when their opens to see Buharis is not planning to stop at the Peter Obi bus stop but looking to handover to an interim Gov, perhaps even the Military.

Buhari has plans that doesnt include any of the 3 big weights contesting at this election.

PhonesRe: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by profmallor: 12:44pm On Feb 04, 2023
Let me tell you what Amazon did when started to grow their market share and wanted to maintain the lead. They used price reduction to kill competition, people thought it was a great idea, they loved it, but guess what happened after most of the competition was dead. Amazon started to show its true colors, it increased fees, turned itself into a monopoly and today Mr Jeff is one of the richest people alive. Elon wont be any different. While I agree that the Telcos are indeed ripping Nigerians of their money, our fight should be with the consumer protection agency who are compromised and not the players. Every business owner if allowed will kill competition using price and then raise prices afterwards when a monopoly is established and Elon wont be any different if allowed, cause he has the mean. Nigerians most learn to demand for quality services and from the appropriate authorities.

airsaylongcome:
Shouldn't you be advocating for the telcos to match Starlink pricing? Or are you unaware of what DSTV and it's monopoly has done to Nigerian television viewing? MTN 5G should match Starlink at the least. I currently pay ₦170k monthly for unlimited Internet and would switch to Starlink in a heart beat as soon as I am sure of their QoS
BusinessRe: Customers Fighting Inside Banking Hall (Video) by profmallor: 8:58pm On Feb 02, 2023
Now that Buhari has successfully gotten everyone edgy and angry, they would roll out plan b of their evil plan which is to postponed the elections and cause civil unrest. Why would Buhari want to push for policies that would only result in unrest one may ask, well a divided Nigeria makes its easy to carry out the plan for an ethnic conquest. The earlier we all realize that our common foe is Buhari the better for us all. Any of the main 3 would make a better president, once Buhari can be pushed out!
SportsRe: Enzo Fernandez Undergoing Medical Ahead Of Record Move To Chelsea by profmallor: 9:42am On Feb 01, 2023
Its strange that there is hardly any play that leaves from Chelsea to Arsenal and thrives, but the same cannot be said when we purchase Arsenal players - they excel and shine. Would be interesting to see how the Jorginho journey plays out, most Chelsea fans wont miss him.

Melodydoctor:
Long before Kante got injured Jorginho has always been a loophole. Even with Kante on the field, Jorginho can singlehandedly ruin our chance of winning. Let him go to Arsenal and become a loophole for them abeg grin
SportsRe: Enzo Fernandez Undergoing Medical Ahead Of Record Move To Chelsea by profmallor: 9:39am On Feb 01, 2023
I disliked the new owners when they took over but now its clear even to the blind the sort of force Chelsea is building, and for a long term when teams like Man U, Tottenham and City layers are aging. Only Arsenal would boast of a youthful and formidable team like Chelsea's in the coming years. With Jorginho now Gone, I m almost certain Chelsea would resume winning ways immediately.

You will remember one day that someone on Nairaland mentioned that Government would ban them.

Magma101:
Bros, all these plenty grammer and panicking on top of Starlink? Oga chill na. Cool temper.

Actually, Starlink has an office in VI. They have a Nigerian tax ID and they have been collecting VAT in dollars for the Federal Government. Starlink already employed a couple of Nigerians and I'm sure that as subscriber base increases more Nigerians will be employed.

Starlink is targeting a different class of subscribers and your perceived economic apocalypse is not going to happen. The Nigeria market is quite large and the introduction of Starlink is unlikely to upset the balance.

Wish you were in Port Harcourt, I would have taken you to Lesukaa for a cold drink to cool this temper. Relax, okay? Relax. Entrance of Starlink is good for our economy.

Oh yes I agree. I would love to lay my hands on one if I could. However, from an economic perspective its a No no. If Elon Musk is allowed to disrupt the Telco space, at least 40% of the revenue generated by all the Telcos would disappear. That means layoffs, reduction in taxes been paided to government and the effect would cascade to all areas of the economy. All he would be selling are modems, he doesnt need any form of infrastructure on ground, he doesnt need staff, wont pay much as taxes and wont be needing to hire anyone either. Elon Musk is a very dangerous man if allowed would kill local competition if given a chance, he is ruthless. If he is serious let him come on ground and start to invest in some form of infrastructure, let him buy a 5G spectrum to start with and come to Nigeria, he has money anyway.

It's actually a much-needed relief for many Nigerians paying through their noses just to access the internet. Starlink is an excellent development!
