That is the only record Jesus wants to see the church breaking and not crowd because politicians and musicians can gather crowd as well but they can't do "greater works."

Yes, it makes perfect sense and if you read from the beginning of that chapter, you will see why he promised them the spirit of truth.

"My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

The reason was because there was not enough time for him to teach them everything because he was leaving. Hence, the need for the spirit of truth to come and dwell with us and to reveal to us all that Jesus wanted to tell us.

Within a matter of second, the power of God hit the church and a woman began to bounce like a football, started confessing saying "beg my son, i am the one that locked the wife's womb...pls beg my son because i am the one that uses his wife's face to appear in his dream.." Now, the "zoe" pastor who went outside was hearing confessions from the loud speaker and he tiptoed into the church to see who was confessing and lo and behold, it was his mother....Zoe pastor remembering the pain, frustration, hardships that he has gone through in life, broke into tears.

When it was time for judgement prayer, the pastor told the congregation to command them to die and the zoe pastor faced his mother and said die, die die and the deliverance pastor told him no pastor, the greek word for die is ...(zoe pastor interrupted him and said no prophet, forget greek word, mama die, die, die).

He went further in verse 36 to explain his statement, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:36

So therefore, when he said and which you quoted without understanding, "you shall KNOW the TRUTH and the TRUTH shall MAKE you free" He was simply talking about himself.

In other words, he was saying "You shall know ME and I shall make you free"John 8:32, because "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:36 (If I shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed).

Or simply put it this way "you shall KNOW JESUS and JESUS shall MAKE you free" (personal relationship).

As for your other question, a document that sets someone free can exist but if the person does not know they will still be in bondage. Imagine a prisoner who was wrongly accused and imprisoned yet a witness has come out to provide evidence showing that the prisoner is innocent, if a judge does not ratify that evidence, that prisoner will still be in jail even though evidence exists that SETS him free. But as soon as the judge accepts the evidence and declares not guilty, the prisoner by right will be asked to leave jail. Which means the evidence has MADE him free.

Because you are forcing the scripture to say what it did not say. And you are not setting anyone free. Nobody sent you to set anyone free. Jesus said you shall KNOW the TRUTH and the TRUTH shall MAKE you free.

The first preach is different from the second one.
This is how other translations put it:-

He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom to the captives.

Hopefully, the picture below will give you a better understanding of the word CAPTIVES. You can't set him free without breaking the chains.

18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.


So Paul deliverance of this certain damsel wasn't genuine because he didn't "preached deliverance" to her...he simply cast the demon out.

The charge to heal the sick was given to all Christians. Not once did Jesus refer to it as deliverance. You deliver unbelievers by preaching the word to them. The rest of your point is unnecessary because nobody is against healing the sick. At least not me.
