Guy calm down. I believe you are still a jambite or 100level student. A graduate won't be coming up with this kind of useless list because they know out there it is a different ball game. It is all about grace or who you know. I know a medical doctor earning 75k(and he's being owed 3 months salary as we speak), and I know a sociologist earning almost 400k monthly). I cant begin to tell you how many pharmacist around town working as drugs dispensers in pharmacies around town and earning 45k monthly. Everything in Nigeria is a scam just beg God to pick your calls or have affluent parents to help you to the top. |
They've successfully rubbish the integrity of this award over the years. |
Quality20:A young person just lost her life here, instead of you to sympathise with her family and pray for her soul, But no; that is not your thing. You are more interested in ethno-religious correctness. God help some of you in this country, the evil in the heart of most Nigerians scares even the devil. You have lost your humanity on the altar of religion and ethnicity. |
PoliteActivist:Please calm down its just a motherf*** moniker on a faceless forum. And those trying to send me PM should not even bother I'm not going to respond. Pls save your breathe. |
SATANlST:Bros, I be confirm Jew man and proud of it . Forget that moniker i am an anthropologist with interest in the Norsemen of old. I don't understand the reasons behind cultism it sounds stupid and awkward to lose all my freedom because of some secret cult that don't bring money into my account. Please be guided biko nu. |
I just stumble on this thread this morning and i have manage to read some of the post here, i have been on nairaland for a while but I have not seen any thread this dark, 'so tey' it involves someone being killed. And this are future leaders, this country is truly irredeemable. The worst is that some people are defending cultism and openly saying they are members. "I am outta here abeg" |
As someone said above delegate some duties to friends. Be assertive and stick to your plans and budget don't allow new ideas to slip you into debt. |
I can relate, I had the same experience with NCDC in 2016 or so. I came out as one of the top 3 candidates but our names were swapped in Abuja. I was even asked to bring 500k but around that time to even feed was a big challenge, not to talk of raising 500k. The level of injustice going on in this country is heartbroken, you need to grow a thick skin to beat the odds in Nigeria especially if you are from a humble background. But God has been faithful so far sha. |
You won't understand how bleeped up and useless this country is until you have lost opportunities online just like the OP. 3 years ago i had my own unfair share of being a Nigerian, i met a German man online who was interested in starting up a renewable energy business in Nigeria-he agreed to set up an office in Abuja and i would select 10 primary and secondary schools in Nigeria where we would install solar free of charge, we had a lot of meetings via skype and everything was going on well, until he consulted the wife who was from east Asia. The wife told him to cut the deal off, in her words 'Nigerians are difficult to do business with. Of cos i know what she meant because she was just trying to be civil. If you meet an average Nigerian the first thing he wants to do is to cheat and short change you. They don't believe in honesty and hard work. They are terribly corrupt but would go to church or mosque and give thanksgiving/testimony and call it grace or miracle. Have you even tried to give your job to some Nigerian craft men? They would collect both the money for service and materials and abscond without doing the job. If i were not a Nigerian i won't want anything to do with them. |
mrvitalis:You have a point though. I have always have the feeling that Nigeria's population of 200m+ is exaggerated. But you need valid data to proof this. |
King monada - chiwana And so many others. |
Vulcanheph:The song is by Ritchie Valens. Nice song, even listened to it some days ago. |
Went into a huge project that gulp most of my funds, not much in the bank to smile about but no regrets though. But i am bouncing back so strong. I know next year would be better with emphasis on my personal development, and having other stream of incomes. |
2012. One hell of a stupid year. |
ominilongest:Mbappe can not win 3 world cups, that is 12years bro. Its not champions league that is being played every year, and Mbappe might be talented but he doesn't have that discipline to stay at the top for long. |
It is Pele for me, it takes a miracle for a player to participate in 4 world cups in modern football, not to talk of winning 3 of it. the lewandoski, ronaldo, and messi records are all breakable, rules in modern football is making it easier for strikers to score more goals these days. |
Whazar:You get bad manners, wetin done bring insult for wetin OP post now. You need to re-appraise yourself and character. |
Validated:So what are you going to say about the so called institutions that are not doing their jobs? Nigerians are just so use to illegality and corruption that if you see someone doing his job judiciously you would call it eye service. |
Andrew999:Thank you very much. I have sent you a dm |
Andrew999: Please OP what are the benefits of the bolded, does it bring good luck? |
I hope she finds help, people are actually going through alot. |
But seriously you would be shooting yourself in the leg if you marry a woman without an education or some basic skills that can help make money on her own without depending on the husband. What if(God forbids the husband dies tomorrow?) how would she cope? So a woman should have skills, learn a trade, and have an education. |
Allow the guy be a young adult abeg. Each time i see facebook remind me of my old post when i was in my early 20'si just smile at myself, because i won't post them now(not that the were bad but i prefer a very private life now). Life is a stage, Osimhen is being a young adult let him enjoy his young age joor. |
32million naira for one vehicle. What is wrong with this people? They just steal unnecessarily. The must painful thing is that this wastage is from borrowed funds. I tired for this uselessness i swear. |
White wedding is truly a waste of time and resources, though i did it because i am from a family that likes faaji, they pleaded i do it. |
They all have two things in common; terrorism and Islam |
This 'hook up' thing is more rampant than it is being talked about. You need to see how ladies confidently chat guys up on telegram especially asking for hook ups. |
If this is real I hope he finds help and get out of it. But if this is just for the grams as they do these days, then it is quite unfortunate because this would deplete attentions from the dangers of depression and extend help from those who actually need one. |
Investing is better anytime and anyday. This year i made a major financial mistake by tying up my funds in savings, and not tangible came out of it. I won't make the same mistake next year. |
Eteka1:I think you should stop having this mentality of always seeing the problems instead of the opportunities. It will distorts your growth. |
I served in this community in 2014, it was a relatively peaceful community. There is a corpers' lodge behind the police station(I lived there) i just hope the corp members are safe. The South east would sink itself(just like what has happened in the North) if they don't come out and speak against this miscreants. Yes, we all want a way out of this contraption called Nigeria but you can not do it destroying yourself. Interestingly 80% of the police officers in Unwana police station were Igbos when i was there and there are two community primary schools close to the station too, and also a town hall. |
