A good friend of mine will be spending another year at home because of federal university otuoke (fuotuoke). She scored 238 in jamb and 307 in pume yet they didn't consider her for admission, some one that scored 182 in jamb and 172 in pume was given admission on merit list..... Abi to score high na crime again?


Is there any way she can sue the school? Or any ministry responsible for such case?

She is dying, heart broken..... She needs your help guys.

It depends on the course though... The score may not be good enough for her chosen course, Let say Elect/Elect or Medicine based on the competitiveness. And the other guy with 182 may applied for like Special Education, Foresty, Agric courses or less competitive courses, so he got admitted.

Wrong UTME subject combination may also be responsible for your friend not getting admitted.

And Most Universities gives priority to their "pre-degree" candidates....

All the stuffs you mentioned there is child's play compare to living off-camp. Come live in my house, and in my area(Eleweran/Aregbe)... You will learn more. You will learn what it means to be independent, you will understand what it means to be tough, you will understand what having neighbours means... You will understand, how to mind your business and learn to respect people(by fire by force, the area dons will teach you that) .... You will learn what survival means... I don't just wanna start... I've lived in Hostel Before-FuNaab, and I've Off-Camp. I know what it means... If you are not an adult or mature enough... you may not survive it. You can't just understand. This is where you learn how to survive the real world without the protection of Parents or School Authority. You learn how to wake early, and hustle for transport to get to school.... face the traffic, just like real world when going to work. This is what we called Introduction to AdultHood.

I've seen students that relocated to school hostel because they couldn't survive it.

wow 10.0.10166 feels like centuries Ago...windows 10 mobile its alot beta and stable...though am still on 10.0.10536 atm but will be upgrding to 582 ...now u can update directly without rolling back

As a result of our constant pressure on the university management on the issue of fly, the management in the last senate meeting has approved the procedure for next year fly and it will be as follows.
1. The program will run for 9months out of which 7months will be spent in school and 2months at the existing FPY locations
2. All students will be in school in the first 1month for registration and orientation likewise the last 1month for rounding up and examination by all students
3. The entire students will be divided into three groups A, B and C in which each group will spend 2months each at the locations consecutively while the remaining two groups will be in school
4. 80 hectares of land has been approved for the FPY program in the school
5. certain percentage has been given to FPY students for hostel allocation in the school unlike when it was zero percent before.
My fellow funaabites you can retain your accommodations for those who will like to stay outside the school.

Well, freshers will resume this year even if na Dec 31st. lol . but staylites shudnt get dier hopes up. I doubt if funaab is prepared for a new session.

The calendar is on the school website, http://www.unaab.edu.ng/index.php/academic-calendar It states there that the new session will begin on Friday, December 18, 2015 which means the first week of January for Returning students. This is just first week of November, so why are you guys in a rush to resume... Last session ended October 26, 2015 and the break should last like approximately two months. So Chilax....

You guys should be happy, you have enough time to make/save enough money till school resumes, enough time to gain or build on new skills.

I remember the lady I was dating in my part 2, she usually spent like 3 days, 2 days and over night. But at the end of part two, when were planning for part 3, Then she came up with this idea of Cohabitation for part 3 and she's really serious about it, and that shht scared the hell out of me. Though I love the food, the company keeping, being there whenever I'm broke and the other stuffs, but I can't imagine living with a girl for a full 4 months and another 4 months , and the fact that I will not be allowed to see other girls is even worse. I decided to call it quit.

I don't really like the idea of Cohabitation(Personal Decision, not saying it's wrong or right) but 30% undergraduates engaged in this.

What do you mean by serious programming? I write botnets, email bulk senders, keyloggers, sms senders, design websites and am still trying to learn more. I write them for free and i know many G guys that use these thiings everyday.

You would have done better if you could show me....instead of saying. For now, I still assumed you don't know what programming is. If you've hard-coded some great apps all by yourself, It will be impossible to say "Programming is overrated".

I used to believe Graphic Designing is overrated, but after working with a graphic designer on a project , I concluded the assertion is false.
