Don't blame the woman... He threw her properties out in the middle of the night three months ago... Its too early for the parents to aprove her return. She has dignity as a woman... As long as she even agreed to meet him in the village and accepted money from him, I think she is a good woman. Besides the reason for her props being thrown out of the house would have been flimsy, that's why the man had to go back to beg her... Some men are irrational and treat women badly as well.

PoliticsRe: No Need For Biafra by publicenemy(m): 4:52pm On Jun 30, 2015
Kollyman:
I have been seriously struggling hard to curtail myself over the recent agitation for Biafra state by our brothers from the Eastern part of the country.

Lately, some people floated a radio station called “Biafra radio” located in Aba & London where various lies and hate messages are being broadcasted to the innocent people. Some even went to the point of producing Biafra I.D, Int. Passport, Number plate to mention but a few.

My question is; why the sudden re-echoing of Biafra state after Jonathan’s administration? I could remember vividly that some top Igbo leaders (Political & cultural) come out to strongly condemn Henry Okah for his agitation for Biafra state during Jonathan’s administration saying “Nigeria is one & we are part of it”. Biafra campaign has taken a new dimension but I have not seen an Igbo leader coming out to condemn it in the recent time. Should I just assume that “the call for Biafra state only get pronounced when the Igbos are no longer popular in the game”.

This action can be termed as INSURGENCE which is capable of generating civil unrest where several souls of innocent people could be wasted. I am tired of people’s lives been wasted on daily basis. Something has to be done now before the matter degenerate into something messy. Remember, Boko Haram started from a harmless agitation but today several innocent souls have been wasted. To an average Igboman on the street, you would hear “we want Biafra no matter what it takes” but they have forgotten in a hurry what happened in 1967 (6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970 -2 years, 6 months, 1 week and 2 days). Perhaps most of them have not been born by then. Before you open your mouth to say ”we are prepared for anything to get Biafra” just look for an elderly person in your neighborhood who went through the thick and thin of Nigeria Civil War for a proper ordeal and re-appraise yourself if you are truly ready for another episode of it.

The fact that ex-president Jonathan loss an election or the current president is not from the South is not enough to pitch your tent against Nigeria as a nation. Even GEJ has overcome the trauma from the loss of election, how come we refuse to allow the wound heal. Whether we like it or not, Buhari is the president of Nigeria and he would be there till he either complete his tenure or he is voted out (if he doesn’t meet our expectations). All that the new administration need from all Nigerians is cooperation and not ethnic based criticism. The recent protest in Onitsha over the relocation of some Boko Haram suspects to a Federal Prison in Anambra state is not called for. Do you know that we have several Boko Haram suspects in Prisons in Lagos& Ogun state (classified info)? Ever since their relocation from the North in 2013, have you heard any issue about it? Definitely NO! The federal government owns the prisons, they can decide to put any suspect they so desire in it at their own prerogative. The protest in Onitsha is a perceived way of antagonizing any decision or policies of the current administration. Please pardon some of my words if I sound so harsh.

I am not saying that you should not negotiate for your disintegration; all I am saying is that; the negotiations need to be done in such a manner that would not bring about blood bath. I know one thing for sure that, if Nigeria gets better today, hardly would anyone be talking about Biafra again.
We need to move away from ethnic or tribal politics if we want the best for ourselves and our unborn children. Nigeria belongs to all of us, let us see, take and accept Nigeria as the option we have. I admonish everyone (Yoruba, Hausa & Igbo) to come together for the unity and progress of Nigeria.

Nigeria Koni Baje ooooo

PoliticsRe: FG Stops Paying The School Fees Of N’delta Students In Foreign Universities by publicenemy(m): 4:48pm On Jun 30, 2015
ducii:
President, Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, Mr. Udengs Eradiri, has raised the alarm over the plight of over 6,000 Niger Delta students on Federal Government’s scholarships in some foreign universities.

He said the authorities of the foreign universities had started delisting the students, majority of whom were Ijaws, due to the alleged Federal Government’s failure to pay the students’ fees.

Eradiri, who made the revelation at a news conference on Tuesday in Yenagoa, appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari and other well meaning Nigerians to wade into the matter to save the students.

He said the students’ plight was compounded by the vacuum in the Presidential Amnesty Programme because of absence of an administrator for the programme.

The IYC boss said the amnesty programme had of recent been beset with a lot of bureaucratic bottlenecks due to absence of an administrator.

He therefore urged President Buhari to appoint an administrator for the programme or do whatever he could with “the executive power he wields to ensure that somebody begins to take responsibility in that office.”

He said he had been under intense pressure in trying to maintain the peace in the region because stipends to ex-agitators had not been paid for the last two months.

Eradiri said he and other Ijaw leaders had been appealing for calm and for them not to take to the streets, nor go back to the creeks.

He stressed that they had been appealing to them to give President Buhari an opportunity to run government.

“I want to use this opportunity to call on the Niger Delta leaders, well meaning Nigerians and President Muhammadu Buhari to the fact that the cause of the vacuum in the presidential amnesty programme is as a result of the change in leadership.

“It has begun to tell on the lives of our young ones that are undergoing university training as a result of the amnesty programme in various countries – America, United Kingdom, London, South Africa and other African countries where we have young Nigerians.

“These young Nigerians who are undergoing education and training scattered round the world, because of the bureaucratic nature of the programme, the funding used to be month by month, most of the upkeep of the students is usually on a monthly basis.

But for two months now, the students have not been paid; the financial obligations to the institutions have not been met and so we heard the shocking news that some of the institutions have started delisting some of the students studying there.

“As for the UK, we know that rents are paid monthly and when the stipends are paid, these students also pay their rent. As I speak to you, a lot of them now are being thrown out of their accommodation; they are all on the streets.”

He said the matter was getting to a breaking point where they could no longer hold them (youths) back because “we have been doing that with just the word of mouth and the goodwill we enjoy as leaders. But when government fails to do their own part, then very unfortunately, we will not be able to maintain the peace as it was in the last few months.”

For a man to abandon the human in him and lie under a vehicle in the public means so much. Am sure if that guy is a well to do or an average individual, I think it will very humilating for a normal being to act that way. From that show, it is most likely that the man is a very low citizen, hence my take on that show goes that way. I will not want to return the insult to you, nor because you will win if we start off but today is not the actual day for engaging each other. Like to stay cool today.

RomanceRe: 19 Kinds Of Friends You Don't Need In Your Life by publicenemy(m): 1:17pm On Jun 30, 2015
emmyagi:
There are friends who change your life for good and then there are those toxic friendships that leave you emotionally drained and disappointed. Some friends are amazing but we gotta let them go because they’re not right for us. Maybe, it’s time you evaluate some of your friendships. Here are 19 kinds of friends you simply don’t need in life.

1. Those who never have time for you. Yes, that one who has all the time in the world to party seven days a week but is apparently ‘too caught up in something urgent’ every time you need him.

2. Those who never initiate making plans with you. If you’re the only one making plans and showing interest in hanging out, it's time you stop. Chances are, they won’t even bother if you stop calling them.

3. Those who always take you for granted. Those who enter your life and exit as they please, hurt you and assume you’ll forgive them each time. No matter how much you love them, if they don’t value you, the friendship isn’t worth it.

4. Those who leave your side the moment you’re going through a low phase in life. It is during these times that we need our best friend to be there for us and tell us it’s all going to be okay. But if they’re so emotionally unavailable, they don’t deserve a place in your life.

5. Those who flock to you when you’re at your best. They aren’t around for you, only your success. And the moment you hit a low point in life, they’ll be gone before you know. They’re never going to be there for you when it matters.

6. Those who make you feel like sh*t. Being truthful is a great quality in a friend but there’s a thin line between being honest and being cynical. You don’t need unnecessary criticism about everything you do in your life.

7. Those who want to hang out with you only when they have nothing better to do. You’re as special as anyone else, you don’t deserve to be so low in their priority list.

8. Those who don’t trust you even after so many years of your loyalty. There is only so much you can do to make someone trust you. If it hasn’t happened after all these years, it probably never will.

9. And, those you don’t trust. You would never be able to be yourself in front of them.

10. Those who neither forget nor forgive. We all do things we don’t mean, commit mistakes that hurt people around us. But if that friend isn’t ready to forgive, forget and move on, there’s no happy ending to this friendship anyway.

11. Those who are just too competitive. A healthy amount is motivational; anything more than that results in spite and jealousy. If you have to think twice about telling a friend about your success in the fear of them getting competitive, it is time you step out of this toxic friendship.

12. Those who keep making promises but never fulfil them. If they’re always disappointing you with false hopes, maybe it's time you shut them off.

13. Those who expect you to be all ears when they’re feeling low but are never interested in listening to your problems. Sometimes, all we need is someone we can speak our heart out to and if not your friend, then who?

14. Those who are so negative in life, their depression starts to rub off on you after a while. Be there for them, help them out, do whatever you can, but don’t let it depress you.

15. Those who always have their way, without even considering what you want. Seriously, it is time you stop being a pushover.

16. Those who feel good by pulling others down. They’re doing it to them right now, they might start doing it to you too.

17. Those who try to control you. Some people just want everybody around them to function the way they want them to. It is your life and nobody but you call the shots. So, if you think your freedom is at stake, walk out.

18. Those who don’t understand your silence. The true mark of a friendship is when you don’t need words to communicate. But some people just don’t click on that level and there’s no point dwelling over such hollow friendships.

19. Those who are ashamed of you. These are the worst ones. Real friends are those who love you for who you are, who accept even your slightest flaws. If someone is constantly trying to change you, they’re not worth being your friend.
