International Energy Insurance (IEI) was around N2 when it went for share reconstruction and came back at around N6. Now the price is around N7+.

Can one imagine what the price will have been now if there was no reconstruction? Definitely not around N2.40 which is the equivalent price at which it is now trading.

By now it would be in the region of N4 or even higher playing catch up with others stocks in the sector. This would be equivalent to N12-N15 Naira.

I know say them bin dey make loss in the last few years but they made net profit in the last 2 quarters and could be in the black by the time the full time result is out.  Even at that based on the quarterly net profit being sustained, the forward PE ratio will be over 50 which is expensive. Of course it will be a different story if they now start growing profit.

I believe the recent run was based on sentiments and folks are just taking profit. If you have the heart for risk, time yourself using the candles and enter.

It is only luck that can make you catch a stock at it's lowest point. If you miss 50% because of 5% u no go feel bad? As long as the stock can rise again, no wahala.

Unic is one of the good insurance stocks. Hold am tight. Everybody must hold something in this sector and this is one of the good ones.

Even if na CICO you dey, just keep your ears and eyes open in case of TS. Otherwise, no shaking on UNIC. Make you hold your own tight.
