PoliticsRe: Pictures: States Recorded N264.38bn IGR Growth In Q3 2018 by PVision2020(m): 7:25am On Feb 02, 2019
Their are some people who always boast of having the highest numbers of Billionaires and Millionaires but their IGR is always competing with that of war ravaged NE. I don't seems to understand why these states will be allegedly populated by this wealthy individuals while the igr of these states needs an electronic microscope to be visible.

Investing 30m dollars of state funds into your family business. Are there no more infrastructural development to be done again in the state, or why not invest it in SME's in the state?
When does it become the job role of states to be shareholders in the governor's family business?

No wonder Soludo called him a voodoo Economist.

What? Your alternate 'facts'?

Even Kadaria admitted tonight that Atiku is the second biggest employer of labour in Adamawa State. A whole state depending on one man who isn't even the Governor. Thousands of families depend on Atiku's businesses to feed.

Tonight, Kadaria gave further credence to the fact that Obi is a good administrator. She never questioned his adminstrative skills.
Go and read my initial post again, this time carefully.
Was Obi more articulated than Atiku tonight?
Did Obi answered any of the questions head-on?
Did either of Atiku or Obi provided a clear blueprints and steps towards achieving their plan?
Provision of 5million job.... how? vague answer
farmer /herder clashes issues... how to stop it? Vague
Explanation on 16b spent on power ....? gibberish

Kindly explain to me any workable blueprint that Atiku or Obi highlighted today.

Atiku is far more articulated than Peter Obi who is always finding it hard to articulate his thoughts. He ended up answering non of the questions kadaria asked.
Overall Atiku didn't provide the "hows" of his manifestos, he was vague without providing details hence all his Dubai plans are mere fantasies.

PoliticsRe: The Constitution And Removal; How PDP Thought APC The Suspension Politics by PVision2020(m):
There are too many lacuna in our constitution, same thing happened when Audu of Kogi died before being declared as the winner, the constitution was silent on on what to do. The National Assembly is expected to collate all this grey areas and lacuna arising from either outright constitutional gap or discrepancies in sematics (removal/suspension) and fix them ASAP. This will safe Nigeria from the constitutional crisis that we presently finds ourselves.

we can't afford to allow the Executive trample on the other arm of government simply because the NASS are not rising to their responsibilities hence giving the Executive the legal leeway to have their way.

I chose PMB because I hoped he will do things differently, I hoped that some of the fundamental issues we face as a nation will be addressed by his government, but those hopes have not been met, and it will be insane to continue hoping going by his current antecedents. You know very well that the Nigerian political parties do not practice or follow any collective ideologies, so saying PDP did this or APC did that is just a futile exercise. Nigerian politics revolves round individuals, that being said, is it not curious that the very people who were in PDP are now in APC and these same people turn around to point accusing fingers at PDP?

All being said, each one of us is entitled to choose his/her own candidate, but let’s stop this comparisons and trying to differentiate between PDP and APC. They are one and the same set of people.
Yes Buhari has failed to meet expectations, but expecting him to be a miracle worker, turning things around in the space 4 years under a democratic settings with lot of bureaucratic bottlenecks will be asking too much.
And concerning the similarities of both pdp and Apc. Yes, it's a slim line separating them and that thin line are the people that make up the core of the Apc. I also believe humans are not utterly corrupt but enabling environment and system provides the fertile grounds for corruption to thrive. Most of the looters of yesterday that has turned activists overnight are people that have been forcefully weaned off their breast of lucre.
Finally, we constitutionally vote for parties, only the name of parties appears on the ballot. If the court finds fault in the primary election that produced a candidate even after winning the main election, the first runner-up in the primary election becomes the beneficiary of the position because the position belongs to the party and not the individual.

This election is between APC and PDP. both have held the country's highest office. so it will be unfair to judge APC on 4 years and choose to write off PDP"s 16years of misrule (which includes Atiku's "vpship"

Let me correct your misconceptions, I supported PMB over GEJ. As regards looting, are you saying it has stopped in your saintly APC party?
Neither did I voted for him (pmb) in 2015, I consider him and GEJ two bad choices. But only kids, biased and people who have forgotten yesteryears will allow PDP rewrite their history.
And YES corruption under this government can't be compare to that of pdp, we're witnessing the least monetized election in recent times, this period 2015 we're all aware of dollar flooding the nooks and crannies of this nation, for every corruption allegation under this Govt. I will give you 20 under pdp. Mr man I'm not a kid.
Atiku of all person aspiring to become the president of Nigeria is an aberration of the highest level.
I will choose APC/Buhari this time around over PDP /atiku a thousand times over.

TraderMoni is a BIG SCAM!!!!!!

This is the biggest shame of the century.A Vice president going about sharing money to buy votes all in the name of TraderMoni.

I cant fathom how a Prof of Law will stoop himself so low just to please Buhari.

A pastor in RCCG going about to different states to share money. This has never happened in the history of our democracy.

This shared money cant be accounted for.No record.

This is more than corruption the dullard is fighting.

Now both Buhari and his co Apc thieves are attacking OBJ,but the internet cant be defeated.
When you allow hatred and ignorance take the better of you, it's inevitable that you spew trash.
First: The Trader moni was duly appropriated and approved by both arms of the National Assembly, under the social investment program. Osinbajo only go to states to launch the program, the same way all other government projects are commissioned in each state.
Secondly: The Bank of Industry are the one in charge of the Trader moni.
Thirdly: If the VP's interaction with the masses is giving you migraine, then your situation is helpless.
Finally: Every projects (including the trader moni) of governments all over the world is geared towards earning the electoral favor and good will of the electorate. So if you call it vote buying, you're not far from the truth, the only difference is that the trader moni is Legal and people centred.
GEJ/PDP had the chance but choose to share their own trader moni with DASUKI, DIEZANI, BAFFARAWA, MAMA PISS, ORUBEBE, OMOKORE, AFENIFERE, OPC, MILITANTS etc.
Bikonu allow the beneficiary to enjoy their little bite of the national cake in peace afterall PDP didn't gave them crumbs.

To think Atiku will share Buhari's vote in the core North it's a fantasy taken too far.
Only southerners who have not been to the north will argue otherwise. The best Atiku can/will get is 30%.
Buhari will defeat Atiku with not less than 3m votes.

Both Buhari and Atiku aren't solutions to our problems.

firstolalekan:
So you think sharing of so-called national cake recklessly will add value to the public?
There are no other social amenities that can be put in place that will benefit every populace?
Putting social amenities in place is a long time plan in ameliorating poverty (this is one thing aregbe failed to understand, building roads while the citizens are hungry), Nigeria is presently the poverty capital of the world, social amenities will take decades in putting out poverty.
China and India (even while infrastructurally developed) succeeded in pulling a sizeable number of their populace from abject poverty by investing heavily in their Social investment programs.
That some of us can afford to spend 12-15k on dstv subscription doesn't make it worthless to some. There are families who have no hope of what they will eat tonight, building railways, roads and providing electricity won't feed them tonight.
That woman selling fruits, Boli, maize, soft drinks on your street can feed her family from her business of less than 15k capital. If 2m families are taken care of, I think it's a plus.

And mind you, The Bank of Industry (BOI) are the ones in charge of the trader money, so the question of reckless sharing is untenable.

This is one of the areas this government got it all wrong. Sharing public money to very few - a way if stealing much more for themselves.

This is corruption!
How did they got it wrong?
Social investment programs are norms all over the world, even developed nations like the USA.
A fund that was appropriated and approved by both arms of the National Assembly can't be wrong. The fact that the downtrodden can at least get a piece of the national cake (no matter how small) is the right step. Before now we know those who had the exclusive right to the national cake without leaving crumbs for the masses.
The mai tea mallam, the aboki selling fruits, the akara and boli sellers, the soft drinks hawkers etc will testify to the wonders 10k can do in starting or growing their businesses, and mind you they make an average of 1k profit/per day. Their are graduates earning 15k/month.

Buba Galadima is really pained for not being rewarded with a ministerial post. He has every right to be annoyed though, because most of the current Ministers are not better off than him (Buhari assembled the worst set of ministers in Nigeria history), only few of them will qualify to be Commissioners in Lagos.
Who would have imagined that one of buhari's closest allies would turn out to be his worst enemy. You can feel his deep hatred for Buhari in every of his utterances and gestures.

Nigeria is left with two bad options (just like 2015).
But I'll still prefer a Buhari presidency to that of Atiku anyday, anyways, anytime.
Atiku only appeal to kids born around 2000 and bias folks. No sane and unbiased Nigerian that witness the inglorious Obj /Atiku era will pray for an Atiku presidency.
