There are somethings in this life that are naturally the norms at which our lives must be evolve around. One of it is that you must respect old age. And the religious books back it up that a man must provide for his family needs (Though, that's debatable in today's reality).

But I can categorically tell that I've had to do with this in some part of my life where I dated and fell in love with a lady obviously older than me in age but not in appearance.

So would like to ask if it's just the norm, that a man is older and more mature than his lady, wife or whatever the case maybe or it's so because of the responsibilities expected of a man to play in consensual and affectionate relationship. Or we've been giving too much preference to the norms and should have seen it the other way round?

I've you had similar experience? Was it worth it or toxic?

Last week I won 500k+. To withdraw it have been war... From verification to otp etc... Anytime I request code for email it will give me error. I still try sms code sent thing....

Am in my 30’s, My wife and I have been living in separate locations about 4yrs now. With intermittent visits 3-4months intervals.
Few days back wen she visited, I exchanged one of my new fones with her so while I was checking out the fone so I could delete some stuff and familiarize with the fone(her previous fone ,now mine)I casually stumbled into her FB & WhatsApp and saw sex chats with different men including her ex. This will be first ever I would be checking her SM, calls, SMS or whatsoever.
When I confronted her with these evidences, she rather than apologize to me, began guilt tripping me with how she’s been ignoring my own philandering (but no evidence, she’s just basing them on speculations).
She dragged the fone in a bid to snatch it from me at the Mall in public.
I told her point blank how disappointed & angry I am and am separating from her.
I arranged for for logistics to take her to our house in the town she stays.
She’s called my dad. I have no idea what she’s told them, but I got evidences.
We do not yet have a child together.

Did I overreact??
How do I deal with this situation

please I need more insight on this from our matured and experience couple's in the house.

I am planning on divorcing my wife and we have a baby together (she will be a year and 3months this month) and she's threatening to have custody of the baby and I want to go pick her up and take her to my mum but I am a little bit confused so please I need more insight on this....

NB: after our marriage things got worst for me and I had to move her to her parent house after she declined going to our own house reason because she feels more at home in her parent house (that's what she said) but once in a while she visits our own house. we finally finished our own building with furnishing and i insisted she move to my parents after complaining Everytime about money and things not so well at her own parents( she's the last child of 7children 4 girls 3boys and she is the only one married and they all still stay at home, with there parent, the girls) but she always find one excuse or the order not to go stay at my parents..my mum is a very kind woman and she always want to help in her own way but I still don't know why she can't leave her parent house..well this is not the reason am divorcing her anyway bexause this is just a tip of the iceberg..she believes she is a feminist and can not be told what to do anytime we have an argument...well don't want to bore you all with everything have been going through...

I was previously heavier at 90kilograms but I didn't look very big. He told me at the time that he liked it. And that he liked my body.

But recently I have lost weight. He told me I have done okay but to not gain anymore weight. But to lose more if I can. Even though I am feeling sick from lack of food. My medication is what keeps myle chubby. So I have to eat very little just to lose weight.

I said "I thought you told me you liked my fatter body?" He told me "I was just trying to be nice. I'm not a mean person. But I didn't like your old body. But this one it bust my head!" I felt really upset by this. So I asked him if he was still attracted to me back then and he said "yes" and I asked if he would leave me if I gained more weight. And he said he would never leave me if I'm skinny or fat. I asked him again why he said he didn't like my old body, and he told me he "never said that" 🙄🙄🤦 after he got super excited about my new body for another 20mins, he told me to stop bringing it up and that he needed to get some rest. So I let it go. But part of me still feels hurt. Feels self conscious. My husband is igbo and lives in Owerri and I am a white westerner. So maybe I am misunderstanding or the cultures are clashing here?
