RomanceRe: Etisalat Sales Girl Has Put My Relationship in Trouble by Qmab: 9:26pm On Jan 26, 2015
True or fake story isn't what matters but good human relations. In a safer world, taking advantage of someone's bathroom shouldn't be such a huge deal but in ds current world we live in, it calls for skepticism. That said. Also finding a member of the opposite sex in one's spouse personal space shouldn't have resulted in fist fight but calm reasoning and enquiries. That's how to have a healthy relationship.
RomanceRe: 9 Reasons Most Nigerian Ladies Don't Get Married by Qmab: 4:14pm On Jan 26, 2015
Creamish:
@Bolded...i was just going to ask whoz been getting married every weekend to the men....if only OP & co know the number of weddings that occur weekly...they'd desist from over-reacting.

If the ladies u date are nuttn to write home about, then its their headache. U truly have no idea how many African women exist...talkless of the justification to use that word "MOST". Granted the aforementioned are bad traits but pls...how many ladies na? How many have u actually dated that are like dat?

Personally, i feel both sexes need to work on themselves. Guys believe this is their world..so they can do whatever and not have "10 things this or 10 things that" listed about them. Datz bull. Decent ladies dont need Mummy's pets, thugs, dirtbags, NFAs (No future ambition)etc.

U know where to meet decent ladies. Dont go to clubs expecting less makeup or fully dressed chicks.

Remember...birds of same feather..
I u dey para gaan o. Any ways, i agree with you. My boyfriend used to belong to the carefree category until he met me. So pls less generalization @ d o.p

Keeping constant tab on my boyfriend's phone once saved from a horrible triangular relationship - to include his ex. So ever since I do it to give me heads up when trouble is looming on the horizon. That way, i can squash it from afar

PoliticsRe: Transformed Oyo State (PHOTOS) by Qmab: 1:17pm On Jan 24, 2015
At the stage in which governance stood in Nigeria currently, anyone who mounts d stage of power and does something people can actually see and positively talk about should be given kudos. I know ajimobi's tenure isn't with out flaws but it isn't without gain either. I av experienced worst government than his in the state. That's why i believe given a second shot at office, things will change for better. Besides, he's oppositions r in my own view, not even worthy competitions.

I know there's a nigga out there craving to have this space but I'm sorry, you can't
Actually, there ain't no nigga craving dt space you got. I think d fact dt u always have nothing to say on d threads in which u jst occupy spaces means ur must be mentally derailed. and my advice is for u to book a space in the appointment book of a good shrink.

TV/MoviesRe: Should Adults Play School Children Roles In Nollywood Movies? by Qmab: 11:22am On Oct 18, 2013
nollywood actors nd actresses takes d 'fun' out of funny wen it comes to dat. Age is crucial and shuld be put to appropraitre use durin actin. If a adult is to act a younger part they shuld b made to truly look d part.
Besides why minus kids frm movies entirely. They r part of life nd dt shuld also reflect in movies.
FamilyRe: Things Parents Should Never Say Around Kids by Qmab: 4:18pm On Oct 08, 2013
A kid will always turn out watever way they r meant to b regardless of d environment in which they grew up. This post will certainly help in some ways. So, i think its important we do our best for them before we let go on their own.
I'd love to have normal well adjusted kids.
RomanceRe: How Can My Sister Marry A Security Man? Tufia! by Qmab: 7:44am On Oct 08, 2013
frm wat d op posted, d guy is a good guy whose only impediment is d nature of his job nd financial standing. In lieu of ds let me share ds wt u: my dad was averagely wealthy(he works as a transporter, mind u) wen my mom gt married to him. He was generous to her in d first few years of their marriage bt wen he brought in a 2nd wife, he changed nd life became tough and tougher for her. But instead of givin up d fight, she worked hard, changed business and was resilient. Nw she jst completed her second house and has old earnd bck my dad's respect. She's my role model. So, i believe a woman doesnt need aman to survive. Period!

crackhaus: Countries fighting over nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, United States government shut down because it's broke, Union strikes everywhere in Nigeria, North Korea is still called a country.... And now, the corpse of an ex-governor doesn't want to be laid to rest until it carries along other people to have a party with in hell (which it has succeeded in doing).....

Please tell me people, are these not the Signs of The End Time huh Are they not huh
makes one to wonder. Things r really takin a down-hill slid everywhere. God, protect me.

RomanceRe: How Did You React the first time You Met Your Blind Dates? by Qmab: 3:49pm On Oct 02, 2013
50calibre: My first & only blind date was like magic, it happened in Nigeria 5 years ago, It was middle of the year, & I had just balled into Nigeria.

About 10 days into my stay, I got a call on the MTN number I was using, I answered and it was a female voice, asking to speak with someone I didn't know. I told her it was a wrong number & then she apologised & hung up.

About 4 hours later, she called back & said since she called, she hadn't stopped thinking of my voice, & that I had a very nice voice, I was surprised. That was the beginning.

We started talking hours upon hours, everyday, then MTN allowed free calls in the night. Night after night, we'd spend hours laughing and talking, she was 2 years older than me. Then the issue of meeting each other came up, I suggested we Skype, to which she refused, saying she didnt want to spoil the surprise. I then asked her if she didnt want to see what I looked like, she said it didn't matter as she already liked me because of my voice. I began to wonder why she wouldn't want me to see her & vice versa, I played out many scenarios, many reasons, I was just confused.

I discussed this with some friends, some implanted fear in me, some assured me it was nothing, I then took a leap of faith & invited her to lagos ( she was in the eastern part of Nigeria, I think Delta state ) so she scheduled her travel & told me the details, I said no worries I'm waiting.

The day she was to arrive, I & my friend already planned to go to the bus station at least 30mins before she arrives, so we could get a good vantage point where we could see what we were dealing with. I communicated with her & got her precise location, then after calculating her ETA, we set off early (to avoid lagos traffic) to pick her from ojotta. When we got there, she was just few minutes out, we took a good spot, and kept out eyes & ears sharp. She called & said she was at the park, she described where she was, & we craftily made our way there looking out for anyone answering a phone call, then lo & behold we saw her. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, she was smoking hot, of reasonable height, clutching a moderately sized hand luggage.

I approached her first with a cheeky grin on my face, smelling & looking fresh. i was fairly confident i looked OK enough, i could see from her eyes she was also impressed. we exchanged pleasantries like we've known each other for years, we drove to my friend's house, as that was where I planned to stay for the one week she was to be around. My mum was around, & I knew she would be a nuisance to us so u didnt even take chances.

The one week we spent together was one of the best of my life, all we did was go out, do the " dance under the sheets ", eat, watch movies, visit friends, come back again & then more dance. On the fifth day, I was in the bathroom, & then I looked at myself in the mirror, I looked thinner, I then weighted myself to discover I had lost about 9 lbs in 5 days, I told the girl & we laughed about it.

When she was due to go, I gave her her transport To & Fro with enough spilling over, she already knew nothing long term could happen between us because of distance, we saw her off to the bus station & I bid her farewell. For days I keep reminiscing about our experience, feeling nostalgic. we still spoke on the phone for sometime as well, & then when I was leaving Nigeria I misplaced my SIM card & lost her contact. I've been looking for that sim ever since.

I've been praying for similar experience to happen again, to no avail.
lolzzzz, sounds like real fun. Pity u lost her contact. Perhaps something great might av come out of it
RomanceRe: How Did You React the first time You Met Your Blind Dates? by Qmab: 11:54am On Oct 02, 2013
I had my 1st nd only blind date at 15. I was actually on fone wit a friend (an older guy) in my area who was intent on wooing me and i was steadfastly refusing wen he passed the fone to his friend. And dt was aw it began. We started talkin every night wt eachoda mainly because i enjoy talks wt him and he spoke better english than his friend. Though while talkin he told me he knw me bt i didnt knw him. So, one day he passed by my parents shop nd showed himself to me(he jst waved at me). He want exactly dashing and he wasnt ugly either. He later asked me to meet him there. I did and we talkd nd wen i was abt leavin he asked to kiss me. Nd that was how i got my first kiss. We began dating after dat bt i wasnt too okay wt d relationship because it didnt feel very right to me. Threee months later i broke it off nd we went our seperate ways
