Yes my lady did it, focus on the class and participate, what you should do:

Focus on UI/UX Research Journey, Personas and Case Studies, then you should learn Adobe XD and Figma, with time you will be given assignments, continue to do them and build your Dribbble and Behance Profile as you get good, then you can start applying for jobs and doing side-gigs.

Google doesn't want anybody using java for Android development, java is second class citizen in Android.

There's no reason anybody should learn java over kotlin for android development, same way you shouldn't learn objective-c for iOS development but swift.

Personally I want to start with Java too.

I migrated to Manifest Version 3 and updated some code. it's still not working.

Why ?

Has to do with chrome.runtime failing, so someone at SO mentioned injecting the script into the dom. it's all confusing because naturally a ContentScript has access to the DOM, and chrome.runtime.*, it failing makes no sense.

I took over Svelte-devtool from RedHatter

There is no official Svelte Devtool, and the author has stopped maintaining it, I had to fork it because we need it for work, our debugging workflow is too slow.

Since I forked this Project I have migrated to Manifest Version 3 and re-writing some deprecated API to work against version 3 the only goal is to have it running.

The concept is the same as ContentScript except

Devtool communicates with Background , Content Script talks to Background Worker which talks to Devtools. I will attach some notes here

C++ is the hardest for me

Like I said anyone can change it, I copied Reddit's CSS and applied here just to illustrate my point, I can even attach custom behaviours via JS too.

So what are we saying ? , all it takes is for someone to host on GitHub and people can build an extension that swaps CSS for their own personal use on Nairaland.

let me try and see if I can make Nairaland look like Reddit. I will share here so you can see what I mean, that everyone has the power to change the UI. It's not a big deal it's just CSS and Chrome API injecting CSS into Nairaland.
