It's everywhere now, not just Adamawa. Nigeria is under siege. Tinubu needs to be careful. He should not forget what happened to GEJ. I wont talk more than that. God help us.
I’m the only bachelor in my neighborhood, three rented apartments. I’m in between two families, they both have three three kids each, they are all very nice people, they rendered assistance to me in any slightest opportunity that presents itself, they pack my washed clothes under the sun fold it and well arranged before I returned home. They always sweep my surroundings, when they are doing theirs.
One of them, her husband is not always around. He goes and comes once in a while, she will always like to engage me in conversation any little chance she finds me outside, knowing fully well that she is a married woman, I don’t give room for such familiarity, she always offer me food by giving it to her children to give to me. (Make I no lie I need the food cus I no fit cook) I’ll also get things for her children too.
I noticed her getting me food was getting too frequent, I started given her attitude and being very official with her, and she took caution.
The other lady is here with her husband, she will join me in my car if I’m going out maybe coincidentally. It happened she was going to my direction, also, there was a faithful day I left my apartment keys at a barbershop in front of my estate, I came back that evening looking for this barber guy his number was not connecting, I went to my neighbor's house to ask her if he knew where I can find this guy, the man was not in the house, the wife came out that she will lead me to the guys house, and me I don’t know where the guys lives.
On our way going the husband was coming back home, he saw us walking in the street of the estate, he confronted us and we told him, just yesterday I came back at about 11:30pm when this woman with her husband here came knocking at my door that her husband is accusing her of having an affair with me, that he threatened to send her parking if she dares disclose the information to me and it happened that I’m close to the husband, we both discuss about politics a lot, the other neighbor who’s husband is not always around also came out, I had to confront the husband why dragging me into ur family issues did u seen me on top ur wife, why this allegation? He said is his family issue that he will take care of it.
A this point, I’m considering taking a legal action against him for character assassination, did I do wrong for given my Neiboure’s mwife a lift Or asking for where I can locate the barber guy? I’m guilty of this)? The husband has the right to suspect, but since nothing going on between me and his wife what I’m supposed to do, should I proceed with the legal action?
Matured advice please.
You are careless and reckless. Keep interacting with people’s wives thinking your conscience is clear. This is a dangerous issue you are toiling with. You went to look for a barber, and in the whole neighbourhood only your neighbour's wife will know where he stays. around his shop, no guys there to ask, you went home to ask your neighbour's wife, Guy de playing. Maybe there is a part of the story you kept away from this post. But becareful. That is my own. You want to sue abi? I hope you are prepared to handle the scandal that will follow even if you are not guilty, this is a scandalous matter. Look , respect yourself and find another accommodation or get messed up there.

Baba OBJ is a man i RESPECT so much! God bless you sir. You love Nigeria too much. Many stole and took the money abroad but you invested, remained here with us and even wrote books to guide different governments, but they ignored them, see where we are today. Live long, sir.
You can see that even the oyibo themselves, most times after all the so-called research will still warn you that they are not sure of the result and that more research needs to be done. They too are confused walahi, only God knows everything.
Dwightventures: These are the pictures i took at an area called Gate 2 weeks ago. My dear brodas if you know how jampacked people and vehicles usually are in this area ehn! When coming from Mapo/Beere road once you reach the beginning of thus Gate till you exist, it will take sometimes over 30 minutes in traffic. IN THIS ERA OF FUEL UNAFFORDABILITY!
Expected news is that THEY ARE BACK, not fully but they've crept back.
Nigerian govt, let me tell you since you wouldn't allow me help develop this nation: it us FAR CHEAPER to use money to civilize near-animals so they continue to behave properly than to spend on white elephant projects that they will bring down and hence waste the money, because that's how they understand life to be lived. EDUCATION, not going to university to learn nothing. Real knowledge acquisition with a focus on primary and secondary schools. The bastard at the top now is the first to take schools away from government control that our dear Gen Obasanjo made govt policy in 1976, and encouraged private profit-driven individuals to establish "schools". The private schools in every corner are now a weekday extension of Sunday School and the other religion has also done likewise.
God knows how much i hate this nation. Every decade we go from bad to worse as a society
But no matter how good a thing is, common sense should let us know that whatever threatens your being is not worthy of sticking, despite the advantages. Do you know what it means for someone to lose it?
Gistmedia10: A Nigerian man was left stunned after being slapped with an unexpected N400,000 surcharge just two hours after purchasing 10 doors for N1.6 million, sparking a heated quarrel with the seller. The sudden hike, attributed to the economic challenges facing Nigeria, escalated into a tense confrontation between the buyer and the store staff.
The buyer, who had already paid for the doors at the initial price, returned to the store for pickup only to be informed of the shocking price surge. "I couldn't believe it. The seller demanded 25% (N400k) more, citing the economic situation," expressed the buyer, visibly upset by the unexpected demand.

The luxurious car, known for being very expensive, was parked by the side of a busy street while the driver poured fuel from what looked like a regular container.
Shared widely on social media, it surprised many Nigerians. In the video, the man recording couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the driver carefully pouring fuel from the keg into the fancy Rolls-Royce.
blazer2018: Hi guys, please I really need your help.
I have a twelve years old son who is very lanky, he looks d*mn too malnourished for comfort. He was very robust from birth till around the age of 8, when all of a sudden he started depreciating, initially, we thought it was a normal thing, as he was growing taller too, but now, I can't even bring myself to post his pictures on my status. He looks just like 7up's Fido Dido.
Now, this is a boy who eats whatever he wants, he's well fed, and lacks nothing. But with his looks, you will doubt that he's even fed at all. Although he looks far from being healthy, but he rarely falls sick. He's so skiny that whoever sees him, asks us what's wrong with him. Another thing, he always leaves his mouth opened, something that has now affected his teeth. We tried every tricks in the book to stop this, but to no avail, he can hardly keep his lips shut for more than 30 seconds.
Now, he's is a very hyperactive boy and finds it difficult concentrating atimes, but he's well above average in school.
Kindly help with solutions to this problem, it brings tears to my eyes as we have done everything we can think of to reverse this. Recently, a doctor suggested we place him on egg regimen, he now eats 3 eggs daily, but there seems to be no changes whatsoever. Recommended medications, specialist or hospital we can take him to, preferably in the South West would be highly appreciated.
He's my only child, please help a desperate father!!!🥺
I didnt see where you stated that you ever took him to the hospital for examination, or its me who didnt read well. First of all, let medical science examine him and generate a comprehensive health report on him. It may just be that he lacks certain elements or vitamins. Also, i hope you dont use to take him to public hair shaving saloon to use public clippers. look into that. The medical test will give more info that will help. After that we can now know what else to suggest or look into. No need to panic.
You start out not liking a particular type of music and then one day you hit a song you like and from there, you start liking other songs by the singer.
And then new songs from the genre.
It was like this for me with music.
Rap songs was never my thing. I could remember back then in 2010 or 2009. I just wouldn't listen to rap songs.
For one, I didn't think it was music. Rap never felt like music to me. And Secondly, I don't want to struggle to understand what was being said.
Anyways, I listened to Eminem's Not Afraid and became instantly hooked.
I listened to the song almost all through the day. And then I listened to more of his songs, pick a lots of favorites which became my Playlist.
I then started searching for more rappers like him and stuffs.
Back to 2024 now, I want to change my taste of music. And there's a huge reason for this.
Music sends messages to our subconscious. It dictates moods and thoughts and can easily influence how you view yourself and the people around you.
I have gone very deep in this rap culture, started listening to songs by the likes of Meek Mill, NF, Juice WRLD, and so on.
But when I look at the lifestyle of these people, the way they talk, act and behave, I always have one single thought: "these are not the kind of people I should be drawing my inspiration from"
Not to judge but most of these people are not the kind of role models I want or would ever want to look up to.
Secondly, their songs nowadays are always very depressing, deprecating and self focused and I didn't like how these songs make me see the world.
I realized this was a problem a while ago but I kept listening to these songs because I've grown accustom to them or should I say addicted.
But for the last few months, I've been making changes to my music taste. I've included more gospel songs to my library. Thanks to Chris Morgan and others, I now force myself to listen to gospel songs.
And it has not really been easy. But I'm happy to say that even though I subconsciously miss those rap songs, I'm glad to be making efforts to listen to different genres now.
I'm also listening to more Nigerian songs especially Afrobeats. I judge these are "feel good" songs and most of the time, they keep you in high spirit and probably make you want to dance.
This to me feels a lot better than the depressing feelings I get from western raps.
Honestly, you'll never know how things are if you're not trying to leave it.
A few days ago I saw a friend listening to NF and the first thing I wanted to tell him was to leave these types of music that causes depression.
But then again, everyone had their choice and I just kept quiet.
In the days of pac, biggie, Pddy, naughty by nature, DMX, etc that was when rap was deep and heavy. That said, i think you are a guy with self control and a sense of decency. Leaving any habitual music at will is not always easy. In all, the gospel music is what puts anyone in the right focus and direction. You made the right decision. Keep going ahead.
BAT my boi! elections are over, you are now in the field of play. leave poetry and work. 2027 is still far. Stop campaigning and get to work. The night cometh when no one shall work. Now you have a golden opportunity .
Barth has spoken, it is now the duty of BAT to act, after all he holds the yam in his left hand and holds the knife on his right. If he likes let him say it came from a tribe.e x so its not important. I know he (BAT) asked Nigerians to support with ideas that can help to move the country forward.
