At this Point, even if we don't support him, what are we to gain??, hope lasted until may 28. After the day of the inauguration, Nigeria became once again, a "business as usual" country.

So Daughter of our Presido, Any how things go, we will do our best to support and survive, because I don't see the next presidential election been any different, my PVC is back in my pocket and will only be used for Confidential or "Japa" purposes, God help us all

There is this very rich man close to my house . Through out yesterday night he was just lamenting, wishing Buhari is still in power. His lamentation is that Tinubu is about to crumble his smuggling business. This man makes cool cash smuggling petrol across the border. He said, with the current price he can't make gains anymore smuggling petrol. He wished Buhari never left. I just told him straight up that I wish Peter Obi is the one in control. I know Peter Obi won't be this heartless. He will be very considerate of both the rich and the poor. The rich man was seriously lamenting. I was just laughing. Is it not you that voted Tinubu. grin

Tinubu administration is about to kick off in a bad note
Imagine federal ministry departments and agencies have not been payed may salary

Before they usually gets thier salary Before 28 of every month

It is about to get worse for Nigerians

The truth and happy thing about Tinubu's administration is am not gonna pity anyone anymore since have realised that the masses are the problem of Nigeria
A south African friend told me that if tinubu gets more than hundred vote in this election then it means Nigerians are sick and the tribalism hidden in us is out openly

Nazgul:
Don't blame them. Nigeria isn't working so once people see any business that gives money, everyone would dive into it and over saturate it.

Look at POS... around 2016, you can rent a shop and run POS and make reasonable money. In fact you could live comfortably with POS business. Today, you'll find over 20 POS operators on a single street. So if you're planning on going into it, just be prepared cos whatever you make from it obviously wouldn't be able sustain you.

Look at Uber/Bolt. I know someone who is in Canada today courtesy of Uber. He started out as an Uber driver as far back as 2017. Today because there are no jobs, more and more guys (and even ladies) are going into uber. This had made Uber become over saturated . And if their drivers are honest with you, they'll admit that it's not as lucrative as it used to be.

Same with provision shop, you can find more than 20 on one street all selling the same thing. How on Earth would they make profit?

Is it korokpe or danfo bus...that one is worse, there are some routes you'll ply, when you reach and park, before it reaches your turn to load again, it might take up to an hour because there are lots and lots of other buses ahead of you.

In the late 90s and early 2000s, one of the fastest way to make money as someone who wasn't fortunate to attain university education was to do hire purchase. Find someone who would give you a bus, and within a year, you've paid him back and you have the bus all to yourself.

Today, bad economy and inflation has made it impossible for these guys to deliver, so even though they're in possession of the vehicle, they would find it very difficult meeting their daily target.

It's not that these businesses aren't lucrative, they are but because there are so many competitors, profit becomes very slim. This is why so many of them aren't making it.

If the country is working, people wouldn't be eager to do any kind of business, this means that businesses wouldn't be over saturated, so those doing it would easily prosper.

My only regret and mistake in life is not leaving naija so early as soon as i finished my secondary school
55truth:
Let's discuss as a family, those mistakes you made which you later regret and you wouldn't want your children to make.

Mine was going to the university without learning a skill and solely hoping to land a good paying job with the certificate after school. When "Nigeria" dawned on me, I realized I made a mistake by not fortifying myself with skills while going to school.

My children will not make such a mistake. If God approves, they will go into sports and entertainment from tender age.

Let's learn from each other.

Karlifate:
She will manipulative all them & get away with it.

Machiavellianism, dissociation and rationalisation lie at the root and core of female behaviour.
Female manipulation is about as natural as much as it is instinctual.

It comes easily.

Some women are comfortable with this aspect of themselves, others are not. Some may freely admit this to themselves, others may need to see themselves as good; such women seek to maintain a pretence of virtue in order to prop up whatever semblance of sanity they possess.

When a woman cannot accept what she is, she lies to herself about who she is until she believes in her lies. A lie told long enough feels like the truth, women know this truth quite intimately.
