YorubaMyKids: If you check the history of Nigeria you'd realise that Igbos are actually the most 'unity conscious' tribe in Nigeria and other tribes can't say the same about themselves.
We hate no one but we are hated so our quest for Biafra is really justified if you take a critical look at it. Okay *hugs* No one is against you getting your country, but while doing so, endeavour to be at peace with others. |

Arda1000: be sincere to urself, you know the saying that water and oil come never come together, that saying apply to igbos and yorubas, didn't you help slaughter us in 6os?, you stabbed us in the back and presently anything we oppose that's exactly what you'll propose, we can't be one Nigeria or one anything, many countries are identifying igbos as who they really are, if we tell we are Baifrans we mean it not because of any selfish reason, its because we cherish freedom, am telling u because just mentioning biafra guys like will start to convuls,we are not slave so its our right to call our self what we want Nobody called you slaves and the problem is both igbo and yorubas' mentality about the 60s. Why don't we just forget about the 60s and move on? We are different from our ancestors, we are different from those people. And no one is against you being a country, just be a country peacefully and while you are still Nigerians, endeavor to be at peace with other tribes. I have hatred for no tribe whatsoever. And about that stuffs that you guys are everywhere and do not need other tribes or have no weakness blah blah blah. Sincerely, if to say you guys have no chance to be in other tribes or those tribes do not exist, will you guys strive or make it as much you do in other tribes in your tribe alone? |

FortuneDeGreat: See this one ooo, those other tribes who are against us are they in any way good better than us? Do you think we bloody care if you love or hate us? And see who's calling Igbos tribalistic, we are the most detribalised group in Nigeria, we feel at home in all parts of the country, we invest, develop and promote our host communities, have you ever seen a Yoruba man's investment in SE or SS? Anywhere in Nigeria you go and do not feel the presence of Igbos then know that the place is totally inhabitable. It's because he asked why people are always against Igbos and you should see I wasn't bias, I was talking about all tribes, neither do I say you guys shouldn't feel at home in any part of the country. And to whether you care if I or other tribes love or hate you is actually none of my business. I did not love you because I want you to care. |

We are hardworking We are intelligent We are handsome and beautiful.(Good looking) We are innovative We are creative We are independent.
What else?? Okay, I don't even have the time for argument. Keep being tribalistic and complaining, in fact, you guys can isolate yourselves and decide you are no longer Nigerians. Your tribe, your beliefs, your whatever. Good night and have a happy night rest |

Arda1000: Igbos are industrial in nature, we are not only in yoruba land, there is a saying that any place where you go and you don't see any Igbo man there run 4 ur life, I have brothers and sisters in different parts of the world, so we are not only in yoruba land, so why do you always have negavite things to say or do towards us even when its not relevant like this case of hail in Enugu? I've never said anything bad against Igbos, in fact, I have igbo friends that I love so much. But sincerely, you guys are tribalistic, you are quick to remind us about you being Biafrans forgetting the fact that well are still Nigerians. If you can remember we all are Nigerians before talking about Biafra, it would be better and you guys look down on other tribes a lot which is why they are always against you. We have nothing to prove to each other about one tribe being better than the other, because to other countries, we are a country, we are Nigerians and they think about us the same way, irrespective of whatever tribe anyone belong to. Other countries address us as a country and not according to our tribes. So why not make ourselves one? The truth is no tribe is better than the other, cos we all lack in one way or the other. Each tribe has her own strength and weakness. |

alBHAGDADI: That is the beauty of the Gospel. But guess what? If you go about doing all those things after accepting Jesus Christ, God will continue to punish you but will never cast you into hell fire because you are his child. Isn't that the same treatment you will give your child if he disobeys you continually?
Hebrews 12:6 (KJV) For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
The question now is: Do you want God to continue scourging you?
If no, then stay off sin.
Please I beg you, read the link below for full understanding.

alBHAGDADI: Hell is the destination for sinners who do not believe in Jesus. Their sin is the rejection of Jesus Christ and his precious work on the cross. Children of God often commit such sins but still end up in heaven because they are already saved.
The severity of a sin is judged by the severity of its punishment here on Earth, not after death. A murderer's punishment from God here on Earth is different from that of a thief. If both men die, they end up in hell. But if the thief believed in Jesus, he will end in heaven, but before then he faces his punishment here on Earth, which is never the same as that suffered by a murderer. So you mean after accepting Jesus, I can go about lying without repenting and still end up in heaven, I can commit murder and still end up in heaven, I can steal without asking for forgiveness and still end up in heaven? Really? this is so nice, really nice. Wow, this is just wow |

alBHAGDADI: Hello,
Your post says a lot about what you believe in, which you have been deceived with. I believe you attend a Pentecostal Church, because they are the ones who preach this kind of false message which you have believed in.
Now, you gave refferences to a movie and also a pastor's account. I will tell you that both the pastor and the movie are utter liars. That Sister A that took salt without permission will make heaven as long as she died believing in Jesus as her personal Lord and savior. Jesus already died for her sins which include taking salt without permission. Had it been she died without committing any sin, then what you are saying is that she was a perfect human being and therefore didn't need Jesus since else could love a life without committing a single sin. But guess what? All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We are all sinners and will continue to sin knowingly or unknowingly. It is the Grace in the blood of Jesus that saves us from the condemnation of sin. We are saved from sin at death because we believed in Jesus. We make heaven because of that believe, not because we didn't sin. Can you name the holiest pastor you know on Earth? If you love with him for a week, you will be able to point out at least 7 sins of his. Are you now saying it is difficult to make heaven? No, it is the easiest thing, just believe Jesus paid for all your sins. Now, I might sound like I'm encouraging you to sin because you now know that sin cannot prevent you from heaven once you've accepted Jesus Christ. No, I'm not encouraging sin. Note that of you sin, God will punish you just as you will punish your disobedient child. But God will never stop seeing you as his child just as you will never stop seeing your child as your child. You are his forever.
Sister, I beg you to read the below link. That link opened my eyes to the true wonderous work Jesus did on the cross for our sins. The link got me saved. It is very lengthy, but exercise patience in reading it and you will be saved for all eternity. You will no longer fear sin, death or hell fire. Of you can't read it, then download the video there in.
http://faithfulwordbaptist.org/once_saved_always_saved.html
thank you I don't attend a Pentecostal church, you are wrong and I never said sister A doesn't believe in Jesus, you saw where I said she's a born again christian. I told you since she became born again, she has been living a Christ like life, I never said she doesn't have Jesus, read again. Neither did I tell you I fear sin or I don't commit sin. What I'm telling you is it's not in our place to decide which is the greatest sin or not neither did I say God will stop seeing you as his child if you should commit a sin. I'm telling you that as much as both lying and murder can send you to hell, then you shouldn't judge which is the greatest sin or not. Please read what I wrote again and understand, thank you. |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Do You Understand By Blaspheming Against The Holy Ghost? by queenitee(f): 9:03am On Mar 03, 2019 |
twosquare: Well, for someone to be a blasphemer of the Holy Ghost, it means that person was once an Holy Ghost child. To be an Holy Ghost child is to have been raised by the H.G. It means the Holy Ghost has led you out of the flesh, just about to hand you over to Jesus, and then you turned, denying the truth of H.G, spoke evil of the way even though you have being raised by the truth. You don't reach the stage of a blasphemer one day. Anyone who says anything against the Holy Spirit now doesn't really mean a thing. Why? Because heaven knows that he doesn't know what he's saying. Such a man is ignorant.
However, there are people who know what they are saying. To first be a blasphemer, you must have arrived at the threshold of being a mocker. I believe that blasphemy is the last stage of perdition. Remember the prophecy of enoch, he said, and all the things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. That is a realm of blasphemy. Remember, the beast in the Book of Revelation has the name of blasphemy, and guys in the Book of Jude spoke evil of dignitaries... Those are blasphemers. I believe this answers your questions as well as sheds more light on my own understanding. You have to be a born again christian, you have to already know the Holy Spirit and have an understanding of who He is before you can blaspheme against Him. Anything said while you are not born again, when you don't understand who the Holy Spirit means doesn't count as blasphemy. But once you know who the Holy spirit is, you are born again, you really understand who Jesus is, then speaking against the holy spirit counts as blasphemy . smartzee01: Please somebody should throw more light concerning the unforgivable sin with more examples and biblical references.
Does that mean after committing such sin even if one repent, he will not be forgiven?
What if we have unconsciously committed such sin, are we then doomed forever? |

alBHAGDADI: Do they all receive the same punishment here on Earth?
No. So you see, they are not equal, else you would be saying that God is not a righteous judge giving the same measurement of punishment to a pencil thief as with a murderer.
it is only one sin that sends people to hell - the rejection of Jesus. Well, that point where you said we accepted Jesus Christ and all. Lemme tell you a story or a christian movie I watched sister, accepted Jesus, very fervent, never committed a sin(genuinely born again) . She lives in an apartment with another sister. Let's say this sister we are talking about is sister A and the other sister, sister B. One day, sister B went out and sister A wanted to cook, she found out she doesn't have anymore salt left and took little from sister's B salt with the hope of telling her when she arrived. Unfortunately, sister A was murdered before sister B could come back.(Note, this was her only offence since becoming a christian) When sister A gets to heaven, she was sent to hell on the account of taking someone else belonging without the person's permission which amounts to stealing. So you want to tell me sister A wasn't a believer or she doesn't know Jesus? Again, a pastor once told a story of how God said he would go to hell if he should die because he gets annoyed a lot at home, like get annoyed with his family. Let's say God didn't reveal this to the pastor and he died and went to hell, was it that he did not believe in Jesus? Based on these stories, I would have said all sins are equal before the lord, it's only we humans who classified them based on their gravity. If not, why would someone who committed murders accept Jesus the same way someone who only lies does? why would they receive the same grace?, but the thing is we are not in the position to judge which is the greater sin or not, lest we fall. Even the bible says all our righteousness is like a filthy rag, so who are we to judge which is a greater sin or not, even you that think you stand, should be careful. We are all sinners, we only pray for his grace and mercy. But one thing I know is that all sin can be forgiven except blasphemy against the spirit. |

Since you can allow influential people to enter the town with dogs that means the sacredness of the town is mere deceit You are wrong uncle. They never said they allowed him to bring the dogs into town. He brought the dogs unknowingly, the dogs might be sent back immediately but since the dog already touched their ground, they considered the ground defiled already and the director for Maritime and the king had to provide for the stuffs required for atonement because the governor was their visitor. I believe if one of them also had a visitor who brought dog into the town(cos no one from that village would want to go against their culture), it's not like the visitor would be killed, the host only had to provide the stuffs for atonement for his visitor defiling their ground also.(mostly out of respect for his visitor, since he couldn't tell his visitor beforehand not to bring dogs into town, it would be rude asking his visitor to pay for the atonement which was the king and director for maritime did) So it's not like they allowed an important person to enter the town with dogs or they kill people who entered the town with dogs(except the part where he said some less reasonable people can mobbed people to death for bringing dogs to the town, and you would see he said less reasonable people, which means it's not the right thing to do, but you know we surely must have some stupid and mentally ill individuals.) and it wasn't like they ignored the atonement that should be done for Amaechi entering the town with dogs. That part of "if he were a less important person" means he would have been asked to provide the stuffs for atonement immediately they spotted him with the dogs, it never meant he escapes from paying for the atonement even if the payment didn't come directly from him. At least it wasn't like he should be beaten and he wasn't beaten. Trust me, those people value their culture and traditions a lot to, so if he ought to be beaten, forget about him being a governor, he would be beaten. You probably interpreted what was said wrongly. |
