jay bee: No matter what you teach them usually gets thrown outta the window once they start to taste freedom.next we will be hearing 'spaghetti tops lead to rape'. A national cleansing is needed. . . . . national cleansing. Am I the only one seeing this? I can't be the only one. . . . .it just can't. . . . . |
I'm jussayin, you already believe women are 'somehow somehow' that mentality will be passed down onto your children. No matter how many 'magazine phrases' you ban in the house, or how much you tip toe around her 'fragile' mind (and i know you don't believe the same for your boys'. She's already going to think she is somehow somehow, paranoid reactions to raising girls aren't going to solve it. |
'most girls can't cook'? you people make me sick. I just vomited all over my laptop. eurgh! |
it depends on how you define prosperity, owning a car isn't a major deal. You can buy any odd banger and drive it about. If fashola really said that he might have meant it in commercial terms. The presence of soo many cars reflect a healthy amount of economic activity. |
chaircover: I guess you didnt read the first and last sentence in the post you quoted 3 times.good luck with all that. |
eurgh no, they were all bush rats. . .eurgh i cannot even imagine. . . . . .eeew |
lol- bhet why? |
looool! |
well guessin the op is just one of those looking for all the fame and glory from the male them. 'why are all these females materialistic and only having sex for money? I am not materialistic and will feed you the coochie for free. everybody look at me i'm not your average woman' well done! |
chaircover: After yet another few days of heartbreaking threads where our ahhh's and e-hugs are too late for some people, I have decided that we should have a chat about catching this serious problem from the root.I sure do hope you do all this for your sons, abi what message are you sending? Women are retarded so we must treat them special. well done. Meanwhile there really is no self esteem and self respect when one believes women are 'somehow somehow' you know when they get hormones and all that. . . . . . I am amused. |
This is all very fishy, no1 a man is dead, unless he randomly fell over from a heart attack somebody must have killed him? Who is that person? The fact Bella Naija reported it is also dodgy, bella naija ? This all sounds like damage control. Nigeria is that type of country- people get away with murder. but this photograph as evidence? all na wash, this is nonsense for all we know it isnt even the victim in the photo and the photo was taken this morning. i hope the family of the victim continues to pursue justice and see the the right people are punished |
Just forget the guy abeg, the whole matter is unfair on him. Leave him for him to meet someone better suited for him and you also move on to someone better suited. Stop trying to force relationships that are never going to work, it will only end up making you unhappy. Women who do this end up complaining about stupid things that don't count. You have even started early using the salon example- you don't love him, end of. Marrying him will be a mistake and you will regret it, you will also drag the poor man along into the misery. Ignore the trolls chatting nonsense about marriage after 30, you will find someone else. just focus on being happy and forget this guy. |
Ad hominem when they run out of points to make. It shows you have whooped them very well. It just means the person is trolling. |
oboi i smoked that shit last weekend and never again! I had a bad trip, It was the worst experience of my life! why do people do that shit! Still i don't mind if my man smokes it. . . I will make him do outrageous things when he does. . . . ![]() |
Rocktation: What I don't understand is why it is okay for married men, when it isn't for the women. Hmmmph, una matter taya me.I definitely have to be more grateful, females earning 70p for every pound is really no comparison to what women are going through in Nigeria. What I experienced at a church in lagos will be classified as assault and harassment in this country. Meanwhile- men still think they are in a position to dictate to women how they should conduct themselves in the 21st century. They still assume superiority and treat their women like inferior beings, while the women just sit and take it. Well. . . it is a step forward from slavery. |
^^ omg omg!! i actually cannot get off the floor! |
Oleros: Why is it so hard for people to stick their necks out and help a fellow Nigerian in need except if there is a direct benefit being derived from such people. When the needies are pushed to the wall, they take to social ills, and when the arm of the law catches up with them for commiting such offences, the people that could have made a difference in such lives by giving N1,000.00 or so begin to blame the needy.it's this sense of entitlement people have that bothers me. I have no problem helping out when i'm in the capacity to do so. I just don't want anyone demanding for it. |
Ujujoan: I bet you are not even married and yet you want to teach women here (mostly married) about marriage!and the fact they are not married is obviously through no fault of their own. Only everyone else has a problem. . . there are no more marriageable women left in the world. . . .the girls in this country are too ugly. . . . seriously they all need to stop it. |
maclatunji: It's a manner of speaking. It applies to every woman that does what I described. It's a question to understand why women do that, I seriously think a married woman should not initiate any activity that draws the attention of other men to her in terms of sexual attraction. It's a process, after the pictures come the compliments, after the compliments come the "toasts", with the toasts come temptation and with temptation anything can happen.just stop. please, just stop it. |

Even with a 1st Class degree in Physics from Oxford University and parents that own a clothing factory in tottenham hale. 76k starting salary is far fetched. and no just because I haven't seen this job before doesn't mean it's non existent. . . .it just means there is a high probability that this is all gassss and aiiiir ![]() and yes, IB does put a hole in my argument, as does doctors and those working at clifford chance (and alot of Nigerians do!) it's still pretty far fetched. I believe someone in that pay bracket (for an entry level role) will at least hold an MBA or a PHD. |
Lady Dee: Not sure Ive seen anyone talk sense here...well we obviously don't have the right 'friends' something certainly went wrong somewhere I didn't collect 'friends' on 70k graduate schemes.. . . These are people are gassing its hilarious! ![]() |
My mother was asking me what exactly my problem with Nigerian men is, I responded with 'even if he is the nicest guy, he seems perfect, handles all his issues right, is open, is honest blah blah- there isn't a day he won't come out with bulshit that will make me divorce him in a split second' This topic is a prime example- the op may be the most innocent, polite nicest man or whatever, but his mentality and his views are 1st world sickening. Does marriage=bondage? is putting your photos on a website simply a means to attract attention? You never heard of sharing? I guess you also believe your wife shouldnt have male or unmarried friends and if they are they should be ugly and or crippled. Nigerian men are inherently insecure, the insecurity is translated into all sorts of nonsense standards to be upheld. Its nothing but hogwash and bulsh*t |
