Nothing wrong with having your birthday in london, you never know the club may have sponsored it, meanwhile when the bouncers and security guards are not trying to get frisky with you or sticking their hands in your knickers a good time is maybe possible. I however no longer think its worth the risk, there are other clubs in london. #thatisall |
AH AH, I dont believe this story? Isn't vulture meat going to be rare and more expensive than chicken meat? Meanwhile this isn't helping the matters we currently have in london. The BBC racist reporting that Africans are passing off rat meat as chicken, we all know very well that Grass cutters are not vermin and the meat is a delicacy across africa. |
what secondary school did he go to sef? lets see how much owo his papa possess! :p |
akpu nku: D'BANJ MADE ME DON JAZZYwell if he thinks that then who are we to argue! i always believed don jazzy made dbanj but here he has announced the truth to the world. congratulations dbanj for your talents in. . . . . . . . .(only jesus knows) . . . .the dude is probably the least talented nigerian artist in the history of african music. anyways #NEXT! |
LOL! One very smart cookie once said on this forum that people often mistake arrogance for confidence, you should know most of these men are overcompensating with bravado and they normally don't feel how they want others to perceive them. They need the validation. I don't really buy into the whole PMSing thing (even as a woman who experiences the monthly discomfort) but it does make sense that the body changes, your experience coinciding with the pain will put you in a depressive and negative mood. It's normal to feel bad about yourself (esp if like me you get all sorts of spots randomly) but you should reassure yourself that it's only temporary and when the time is over all those feelings will be gone. You can counteract some of the horrific symptoms with pills & creams and when you feel the time coming, beautify yourself. Do your nails, your hair, eyebrows before the time. Buy a nice outfit, some sexy lingerie, a nice pair of shoes a handbags. Things that make you feel good, wear make up, adorn yourself with hot accessories and go out with friends. Sometimes when our girlfriends compliment on our looks an style we feel better .Confidence is really how you feel about yourself, take the time to understand and appreciate yourself, give yourself the benefit of the doubt, understand different situations cause different things and love the person you are. Make an effort to love yourself and everyone else will love you. and try to appreciate that everyone feels the way you mentioned once in a while, it makes us human ![]() |
I just want to know what the I in LGBTI written on the banner stands for? Incestuous? |
naturalwaves: .Not at all, that was an outline but the conclusion still holds. There is no automatic translation in disease there are only indicators, ones we can assign to causative epidemiology. naturalwaves: .You can't read, I didn't write anywhere there I carried out research, and if you read the argument well you will see that point was in response to Dankas claims the americans are spreading cancer through Africa. I don't even want to indulge you with the rest of the nonsense you have posted since you quoted wikipedia, thats evidence enough to me I shouldn't bother wasting my time. But do read over what you quoted again, the use of the word CERTAIN!! look that up in the dictionary, and revise your argument. |
It does depend, if your partner minds. If not you do need to respect his/her privacy. A phone is a private thing and some appreciate having things to themselves. That being said if you have nothing to hide you won't be bothered, but going through your partners phone knowing he/she has a problem with it is wrong and disrespectful. It shows you have no regards for his/her privacy, which he/she is definitely entitled to. Just because you are the partner doesn't mean you can have unrestricted access to his/her life. He is entitled to not want to privy you to certain things. My partner is quite open, so he normally gives me his phone to read his texts and what not which I'm still abit uncomfortable doing, at the same time I don't really mind if he goes through my stuff he won't find anything anyway he'd just be wasting his time. We've taken the fun out of snooping! ![]() |
Why do they like to disrespect my davido omo cocoa farmer like this ehn? Omo baba olowo, you people no looku face at all at all. Disrespect ![]() |
ogugua88: It all started with this thread. Once the promoters found out I was modding the celeb section, Uwa told me to write what's transpired in the last 14-15 months. There's no better platform than Nairaland as Nigerians, home and abroad, frequent here. Other bloggers and websites took what I wrote and used it on their sites, making this story bigger than Uwa or myself even imagined. I guess EME was pressured as Banky W called Eche personally and told Eche to give his email address to people who haven't been refunded. Eche called me and gave me the address. I proceeded to emailing Banky W, who apologized several times and forwarded my email to the "appropriate people". He forwarded the email to them about mid-to-late August. Banky was actually going to send the money by mail with a CD as they were stalling, but I finally got my refund on the 2nd via Paypal.good girl! we need more nigerians like you! |
Danka7777: What a very nescient and silly comment. When someone makes an allegation, all you have to do is to go and do your research. Don't draw up any conjecture on your own IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE YOUR RESEARCH. This is one common problem with a lot of Nigerians, they say things that they have absolutely no clue about. How could you say cancer is a disease for the wealthy?...this is the most selfish, ignorant and below standard comment I have heard in my life. What's your educational qualification if I may ask? Otherwise I will be wasting my time trying to educate you.I cannot be the only one reading this absolute coonery? This is hilaaaaaarious! it is amusing and I am very amused! You are a joker and all this is a joke- you obviously assume yourself and the blogs that propagate nonsense in the name of spreading conspiracy theories will know more about cancer than anyone who has studied cancer biology or specialists pioneering in the field? Shut the Bleep up and learn obviously nullifies the whole argument and justifies the rubbish you keep repeating. You are definitely no scientist as none of what you wrote is technical. What on earth makes you believe it? Your research is not scientific it's speculative, you cannot speculate disease physiology. I'm obviously 50x more qualified than you in this field. . . . you are not one to teach me anything. Black Soilders indeed, even if george bush himself murdered abacha, cancer is not infectious. You cannot compare cancer and aids!! 2 different diseases, the higher incidence of certain cancers in Western regions shows us that it is a disease of affluence. I won't even bother to ask you to read a book because I'm sure you wont even understand it. It's not for children you see . . . . . |
It doesn't seem sensible- but it has been said everything isn't straight forward. Your husband obviously knows you are without work I just hope he understands he is going to be taking care of the both of you. IMO marriage should involve 2 income generating parties, esp with a Nigerian man simply because I can't imagine having to deal with any biases that might arrive as a result of the wife 'not working' or 'earning less' automatically turning her into a domestic housemaid whose only place is in the kitchen. Unless the husband is bastardly rich of course hey I did say everything isn't straight forward! ![]() |
Danka7777: Reading all these comments, I think we have a long way to go in understanding the global and regional politics and THE few people that control this world. Don't be surprised; of course, I wouldn't be if she (Deizani Madueke) is diagnosed with cancer in few months. She has stepped on the toes of many international oil companies that have interest in Nigeria's oil and they are out to get her out of the way and permanently if it means. You guys think cancer and Aids are mysterious ailments; we have a long way to go in massive re-education of Nigerians. These ailments were invented in the laboratories, and for cancer there are radiation-type technologies that can get you infected with cancer. You guys think the death of Yara'Adua was God's willing? The death of Atta of Ghana was God's Willing? The death of President Bingu Wa Mutharika of Malwai was God's willing? The death of Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia was God's willing? Is it a coincidence that all these leaders besides Yara'Adua died in 2012? This is called modern regime change and done through death. All passed away, rather rapidly under mysterious illnesses. Why are we so gullible to think deep and reason? This is a very ignorant comment please remove it, you cannot compare cancer to aids. You cannot transfer cancer between people and even after repeated exposure to cancer causing radiation the damage caused to ones vital organs will kill well before cancer does. If we are going to propagate conspiracy theories lets do so in a sensible manner. Cancer is actually known as the disease of the wealthy and is associated with lifestyles adopted by those that have money. There is no power or control over cancer, let that belief stop there. @post This sounds like a cancer scare, the way it sounds its not too serious and can probably be curbed with early treatment. It can always be a cyst or so but I can imagine if she was rushed to london its pretty serious (malignant). |
ogugua88: UPDATE: I originally paid 22 June 2011. Today is 2 September 2012. I have finally received my refund. I'm too lazy to count how many days I've waited. All I know is that it was too long. However, a result is better than no result. They have all apologized for the long delay.this is brilliant! well done! you have done well. Please talk everyone through the process? So others can also start pursuing the same. Did you get it from Paypal or directly from the promoters? |
slimojas89: I have been waiting for such comment..people still serve in companies, only God knows how they do it but I know people currently serving in big companies.Really? then there are ways around it and this whole hulabaloo from that nuisance of a president has all been gas and air. Like always floridam: Are u sure this policy is not again meant for the children of the poor and the 'non-long-legged-people'?God bless you for this! That is what I'm trying to find out, will daddy long legs still work? The directive has been issued and I think the larger companies will follow it, but since most corpers are going to end up getting rejected from their postings I assume private companies will still have to get involved. Do the corpers directly apply for the work or is there some 'non priority' list NYSC then use to find them alternative placements? Is it worthwhile for one to still make an effort for a placing in a private company in spite of this new directive? |
ujchief: The new posting policy has its pros and cons.Thank you for this you have actually hit the nail on the head, service wouldn't be a problem if not for this factor. NYSC advises that corpers will be posted to sectors relevant to their degrees (which makes alot of sense so the state can make sensible use of human resources)but if these sectors have been restricted, how is it going to work? I can imagine the country is in need of teachers but not that many, and like you said there is currently a high rate of rejection. jhydebaba: Good step in the right direction.Actually it doesn't make any sense- they say the new directive was employed because there is apparent abuse of the programme and corpers are meant to be serving their state not receiving work experience, it doesn't make sense to say, under the same breath, that they will force companies to employ graduates full time? The supposed reasons for this new directive are completely contradictory. |
The Lagos State co-ordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), Mr. Ladipo Laniyan, has said that the Federal Government’s decision to post corps members only to four sectors will ensure true service to the nation.Source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/04/new-directive-in-force-on-posting-of-corps-members/ |
chucky234: Why she was flown to Germany to treat mere food poisoning still beat me,is that to say that not a single hospital in Abuja can treat food poisoning?this is the thing!! I've never heard of treatment for food poisoning! food poisoning you have to wait out, then re hydrate, there are no pills or treatment or whatever! Your body is already treating it by getting rid of the food! This is what I don't understand, there is nothing the doctors in Germany will do? Unless the whole thing was a lie like some are suggesting. |
moonraker: I believe that she was talking about the Galaxy note!!!ehn hen! yes op get that one! its sexy! Not sure if thats a valid reason to get a phone- but that is all one needs! lol |
God forgive me- sometimes when i read news like this I just wish they *** there. . . . look at her, sick and flies to Germany. Because her husbands incompetent ass cannot manage an efficient healthcare system. kmt. . . . . :O FOOD POISONING? THIS WOMAN WAS FLOWN ABROAD FOR FOOD POISONING? THERE ISNT EVEN ANY BLOODY TREATMENT FOR FOOD POISONING JESU KRISTI. |
God almighty phones are cheap in the US it makes me want to cry, which samsung is like a mini tab, that big massive one? get that one- its too sexy! ![]() whatever you do don't get a bb, definitely not the new bold, the phone freezes, i wanted to flush it down the toilet once, the fustration that basterd of a phone gave me! lol |
Graduates of south bank university, someone should have told these trolls they have no business associating themselves with the word intellect. Sagamites stupidity is painful to observe, a troll does what a troll can. Wasteman. #dismissed. |
Kobojunkie: It is not a matter of "why should anybody bail on their responsibilities?". It happens, regularly, and I don't think getting the police into our person lives will make this go away.No-1, that is what the police is for. that is why we pay them out of our personal monies. no2- the woman, plus everybody her child comes into contact with and influences, and if the hard life leaves them little choice it is bound to be negatively. no3-, just because it happens regularly doesn't mean men are not responsibly for their parts in such. if you get a woman pregnant you are responsible for taking care of the child. no4- obviously, how can the women learn when they are not educated? That is why they are meant to be educated and empowered, so they can make these decisions for themselves. All they have now is the rubbish culture and the rules that culture goes by. Which dictate they follow men up and down for better lives. I dont get what you meant by the last paragraph? Nobody is debating who will be left with the burden? then again like I have said the criminals have to steal from somebody? once the dots are connected we are all inevitably involved. I don't know why you think she was taking pills to have more kids, I didnt read that one in the article. |
kuntama: I'm confused. Why should we glorify our mothers for "suffering for us?"lol! |
Valto: did i hear u say compensateah ah? they cant even use it for personal use? what of going to the farm? or selling it in another state? |
