lawfree638: Hello,
First, determine the course you want to apply for. Also, ensure it relates to your experience or previous education at least.
Then this will determine the duration of the course and province. Yes I have... Applying for PGD in HR,that is my BSc course of study and that’s where I have experience. Most schools in ON offer it in 2 semesters, hence my question |

Cyberknight: The options are to either apply as a family or you apply alone and your husband and daughter come to visit for limited periods on visitor's visas. This will mean that they cannot reside with you in the UK.
Holding a US passport doesn't confer UK residence rights, so irrespective of which passport your daughter uses, the residency permission granted will be the same. Thanks but my question is still not answered, must my husband be resident and working in the UK to be a dependent? I read on UKVI you don’t need to show prove of funds if from certain countries which US is a part, but that’s not so important. |

Hi guys Please if my husband does not intend to work in the UK can we still apply as a family? Or he should go the visitor route?
Secondly,my daughter holds a US passports, should we use that for her or do we apply as all Nigerians, any advantage? |

Bs On Saturday evening,I took an evening walk, while at it,I was on the phone with my sister and she had been telling me to take castor oil,so I summoned the courage that evening bought castor oil on my way back home, took about half the bottle immediately I got home and infact the effect was immediate,I started stooling,I did a couple of times then managed to get a little sleep though I could already start feeling light contractions. At about 3am I just couldn’t stay in bed again,I knew that was it,I walked around, then started timing the contractions,at 4am I woke DH to get ready,5am we left for the hospital. When the contraction comes I would shout ‘stop the car’!...when he stops I’ll still be the one to shout do you want me to have this baby in the car Just move! and make sure you don’t shake me! HOSPITAL: Water broke while they were getting vitals,I was 5cm,I had requested epidural, they tried discouraging me since I was progressing fast and it would slow me down but I no gree oh,epi was fixed but mehn...I was till In pain. I had told hubby I wanted videos, when he tried to make one I was like “you that’s what you came here for abi”? Just go outside...lol,plenty other drama,I was just begging God,doctor, nurses, everyone for help till 9:15am when my baby boy popped out after about 4pushes leaving mummy with a tear.We are fine and back home...Thank God for mercies.Safe and swift delivery to everyone. Boots hung....signing out |

somehow: like pay for double ante natal, na so I rich? where such money dey? pub is 16k and 13k2 while pri is 45k You don't have to pay for antenatal again at the private hospital just register and most likely they would want to re-run their own test,so just pay consultation fee once, have that sorted and continue your ANC where you are already having it |

TWoods: People were using fake bank accounts to obtain visas years ago too... oftentimes loopholes go unnoticed before someone figures it out and stops it. The fraud is not on the part of the health system here, i feel that is the excuse Nigerians have come up with to give themselves cover or assuage their own guilt.
Even if such fraud existed, it is not up to you to exploit it. American hospitals don't require visas, you do. I can remember the hospital made copies of my data and visa page,so explain it Only you VO,CBP,FBI,hospitals rep what more are you? cos you over know and this thing is paining you more than your president sef |

123JohnF: The child condition doesn't give you a visa for the whole family. 1 child and 1 adult to go to the hospital it's enough. If the sickness can be treated in your country, the visa can be denied also. Even if the sickness cannot be treated in your country, you may be denied. So many people in troubles, sick and disabled, USA can't accept everybody. The backing of a charity organization may play against you, it tells you have no money. Don't you see how many are denied just because they paid the half for giving a birth in US? You wish to go to the American hospital for free. How do you think the consular officer will see it? I will tell you, the whole family wants to go to America using a sick child as their anchor, this family doesn't have money and wants a medical service for free, then this whole family try to stay in US forever using again the sick child, no money to return, no money for living, food, etc. Do we need more immigrants on welfare? Your visa will be denied. Okay Mr VO but I read where the lady said she can't make the trip coz of work and nursing a baby. |

EkunKekere: Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't mathematics a mandatory subject for admission into Med School?
Admission into any of the top tier Southern universities like UI, UNN, UNILAG, OAU will be very tough even with a fairly decent result like this one. You'll be competing with literally the sharpest brains on the African continent, the overwhelming majority of whom are Southern Nigerians.
But if you're not too picky and you don't mind lowering your standards, you can waltz into any Northern university with that result. You'll be the one eyed king in the land of the blind. so you didn't see Mathematics in that result? |

Abuleoshi: I don't know if you didn't see "hardly" in my post. Another word for hardly is rarely. I never said they don't give people who apply with Hotel reservation. The fact few people get Canadian visas with hotel reservations from the multitude of denials justifies the hardly I used in the statement. You people can't read and understand simple English hence Canada and Australia will continue to ask you guys to write IELTS even though Nigeria is meant to be an English speaking country! Oga whether rarely, hardly or whatever you are still wrong I follow this thread closely and so...many have gotten using hotel reservation. |

Iamajoyfulmothe: I think some of us need to start telling ourselves the truth. While I agree that the US appears to be reducing child tourism, this discount issue is a VERY valid matter.
I contacted a hospital in the US and they sent me a self pay bill of about 5k. When I called to get confirmation that it was not discounted, the staff I spoke with at the billing department, confessed that the actual hospital bill is 21k but they make the 5k offer available for self pay patients. She also opened up to say the hospital does have a way of getting the discounted bit back from the government.
Granted, it isn't the fault of those who were ignorant of this but the US embassy is well within their rights to clamp down on this. Imagine how much taxpayers are paying yearly for self pay Obgyn patients like us. E reach to vex
Not everything is a baseless vendetta.
Meanwhile I am guessing some of us here don't realize how difficult it is for foreigners to obtain Nigerian visa or citizenship. Please what is Nigerian citizenship? What is it for? Is the 'finder' from Niger?....(lol,na joke I dey oh) make 'Nigerian' people no go vex |

Missvenus1: I know about the 6 months rule. That's really not what I'm worried about, I have other concerns as per my original question. At 5months old, my baby is due in 4months time. That still gives me extra 2 months before my time is up. You should be more concerned about your response to the question: so why are you in the US today and how long are you here for? Isn't better to have more than 2months after birth that to be short of time. |
