I went there for the diagnosis of a Honda Accord V6 2003 model.The car was scanned and the DTC were explained to me. However, there is this particular sound coming from the suspension that I complained about. While being test driven the lower ball joint of the driver decided to pulled right at entrance of the outside car park. That is how the car slept at Radautos.

Aunty Radu I need your advise concerning the car.

Did they manage to get it inside or is it outside and did they diagnose and give you an estimate?

Ours cost. N89,790 with a one year warranty and I'm sure you can get a cheaper one but what is the point when you're not even sure it's the pump. Take it to a good shop or even to the person you've been taking to and get it dealt with once and for all.

First, take your car to another mechanic. Then, check in this order again for counterfeit parts (if they've already been replaced) and replace with better parts or for dirt or faulty parts:

Sparks, ignition coils and wires, oil filter, fuel injectors, oxygen sensors, fuel pump strainer, fuel pump.

Those I'm almost certain it's a combination of the first three. And remember...

You only need 4 quarts but cheaper to just get 5 quart jug than four 1 quart bottles.

yes it can. It's just touchless carwash which is common here. It is murder on the paint in the long run. In Nigeria they can't even operate common pressure hose without damaging it. Even the NEPA will destroy it for you We should now bring this one?

Also, Nigerians currently wash their cars the best way- by hand. Tender loving care. All people need to do is wax as well.

Glen happened to walk by and we got talking, it was he who told me what was going on.

Oh, okay thank you. Techs are not supposed to explain. Only shop manager or his assistant so that part is good but repair should never have started with explanation. Thank you so much for this information.

Technically it's not stealing and you have the key so I would personally get in the vehicle, drive to a vantage point and wait to see who comes to look for it then call the cops. I'll have to ask my mom if it's legal though but I would think yes.

Before Radautoworks came on board New Parts has always been available. Albeit expensive. OEM parts are expensive. Briscoe, Star, Denso, Aisin are readily available , unless one does not know where to shop

I just laugh when people say Toyota is cheap to maintain. If you are using OEM, or quality Aftermarket parts. They don't come cheap. Unless you are getting a Chinese knock off

I'm not saying parts were not available in Nigeria before, of course they are.

What they mean to me is that they are a USA franchise. That might not mean something to most but to me I put tremendous stock into that from a serious business perspective.

Since I will also have an auto repair facility, a very small one, maybe 3 bays at most, that caters to specific unpopular marques, I will of course be bringing in parts too on as needed basis. But if I can get it from Lekki from a reputable IS franchise within hours then why waste time ordering online.

This is jaw we do it in the USA, auto repair shops don't have to have a parts department. They have account with parts sellers like Pep Boys, AutoZone, Kragen, etc and parts when ordered before a certain cut off time are delivered the same day. You buy form them at a discount, add a little bit on top.

What I've noticed in Nigeria i most feel that they have to do point to point merchandising to make profit. My model is different.

That's exactly what we are trying to do. We actually have a few shops already who have accounts with us and order parts at a different rate from the general public.
