In a way, this my statement could be misleading because l am not the kind of christian who is so much fixated on heaven and hell, not that l do not believe in them, but because l do not see Christianity simply as a means of escaping hell and going to heaven, rather l see it as a doctrine borne out of the desire to have God's rule on earth as it is in heaven, that even if we die fighting for this we believe that we would rise again to experience it. I dunno about others but this is how l read my own bible, l may be wrong but it's how l see it at the moment.

U are simply a reasonable person trying at the same time to be a Christian. Tough but appreciate the intent

You should have deciphered from my reply, that biblically speaking going to the so called hell is by what you do, not by what you profess to believe or not to believe, at least that's the way l see it. In that sense no matter what you tag yourself, if you do deeds worthy of death, then you die. Besides not all Christians believe in hell, and even those who believe may have differing views on it.

So based on your beliefs, good Muslims are going to heaven??

I believe they are wrong, but l do not believe they are going to hell simply because l disagree with them, same with the Muslims. The concept of hell is a topic for another day, but it is not just belief and doctrines that saves one from the so called hell or takes one there, but rather it is how you allow these beliefs or lack thereof affect your ways and your deeds.

It is not about what most Christians believe, but what should you believe. Did Christ condemn the Samaritan woman to hell, no. He simply told her ..you know not what you worship. He told her salvation is of the Jews, this is thesame Jesus who had problem with so many of his fellow Jews. So if Jesus did not behave this way and Christians behave this way( according to you) then it means something has gone wrong because many are not listening to the Holyspirit OR Jesus never even set up the so called system you talk about to begin with OR Christianity was always going to be diverse and Christians should just find unity and love in diversity.

Another reason why religion and the concept of God is so flawed. Forget atheists, there are millions of people who honestly believe they're serving the true God and are ready to do anything for their god. Take Jehovah witness for example, these people are the most committed set of believers I've seen. I know some personally and u can see that their belief is real and their enthusiasm for their gospel is indefatigable.
But most Christians believe these people are false prophets who are going to perish eternally in the lake of fire. It doesn't matter their actual intentions or state of mind, it doesn't matter that they actually believed what they were preaching, they are going to burn in hell all the same.
Same applies to Muslims, Buddhists, e.t.c. and this is a system created by an infinitely intelligent being who is also supposed to be benevolent... It just doesn't add up

So looking for objective evidence that sets Christians apart would be difficult. If there ever was, it has been copied already albeit in a subtle manner. The purpose of Christianity is not to raise our ego that we are in the right religion but to challenge us, hence l cannot help but give you abstract examples such as faith, hope, love, light and darkness.

It's amazing that it's the Christians in underdeveloped and unstable countries that are not true Christians but the ones in developed countries like USA are actually true Christians, that's why they don't starve, right?

Again, the statement of the three Hebrew boys have nothing to do with provision so the question remains why would god allow his children to starve to death despite promising he would provide for them

Our GOD is able to protect and provide for us. But even if He chooses not to do so, we will still trust Him because we know its the best for us.

I've not heard of Ellen White but I've heard of Benny Hinn, T.B Joshua, Pastor Adeboye e.t.c. Each of these people have their fail prophecies...

As regards Jesus failed prophecy...
For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds. Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.“ (Matthew 16: 27, 28)
Matthew 24: 25-34, Mark 13:26-30, Luke 21: 27-32 all repeat this prophecy so..

So your god can choose not to provide for you and protect you even though it doesn't cost him anything... Meaning, he can allow his child to starve to death or get their heads smashed to pieces while watching on??... Apart from the bizarreness of this declaration, what is the basis for it in the bible

I as a person don't want to live longer than GOD has planned for me in this world where I'm surrounded by sin. I long to be in that holy city and see my Maker face to face.

The Holy Spirit guides me. I'm a testimony. He also explains prophecy to me. Jesus told us that we will have tribulation in this world. But then, we are not afraid because He overcame the world.

U say, I lack peace of mind but how do I know your claimed peace of mind is not a total fraud... Muslims also claim peace of mind... It's the go-to response for religious people trying to show the actual value of their religion... But I don't see any evidence of it.
All in all, u have failed to point to anything of note that u enjoy as a Christian, just the usual things everybody claims including atheists...

Prophecies?? Really?? ... All the major "men of God" have one failed prophecy or the other. Even Jesus himself has his failed prophecies...
The gift of prophecy didn't help Christians prepare better for the recession. If anything, prophecy was a disadvantage because major men of God prophesied that recession will end before the end of last year ..
U are mentioning totally abstract things that can't be measured or valued... Is it really that difficult to point to benefits derived from Christianity... There are clear promises of protection and provision in the bible. Those count for nothing??
