felixomor: U r d one raping logic here.
Ok answer these 2 questions in true or false. And if ur answers are different, It shows your logic is correct
If your answers are identical, U r wrong obviously.
Question 1:
Random believes Messi is not better than Ronaldo? True/FALSE
Question 2: Random doesnt believe Messi is better than Ronaldo? True/false Is this a mistake?? U are comparing two opposite statements?? I don't believe u don't understand this.... Lemme explain again 1. I believe Messi is better than Ronaldo... This is a claim that Messi is better than Ronaldo- 2. I believe Ronaldo is better than Messi... Again a claim that Ronaldo is better than Messi. 3. I don't believe Ronaldo is better than Messi... Now there are different possibilities in this statement.. i. Messi is better than Ronaldo ii. Ronaldo is equal to Messi iii. Am not persuaded that Ronaldo is better than Messi, therefore I don't believe he is... These three bolded positions are entirely consistent with the no.3 statements... Can u show otherwise?? |

When also did Adam started questioning Eve?? Before or After??

felixomor: We are all talking within the context of your belief.
Everybody's claim is is his belief. Theist: I believe there is God Atheist: I believe there is no God
U only putting "i believe"/ "i dont believe" before sentence in this discussion is tautology. It's not tautology and I already showed u... You are only repeating arguments because you don't know where to go from there... I believe Messi is better than Ronaldo is different from I don't believe Ronaldo is better than Messi.... So when a theist says I believe there is god, I simply say I DON'T BELIEVE there is god... If u or any of your friends can equate both these statements to mean the same thing, logically, then no problem |

HCpaul: Hmm.....
I think it's because God works in wondrous ways.
And he do as he pleases him.
In reality, there wasn't a time when man was without the knowledge of good and bad.
And if you think that I am wrong, why was Eve questioning Satan when she was convinced to eat the fruit?
Or have you try giving baby's biscuit and he/she starts questioning you that the biscuit has been poisoned??
If he/she does that, then it obviously vindicates that the baby is already aware of the knowledge behind good and bad.
Beside that, why should a law be given to two folks that doesn't even know the difference between good and bad?? What if they taught that the law was not OK enough for them and as a result declined it? At least, they are ignorant of the knowledge behind it as they didn't know the difference between the notion on which their decision/choice rest upon (whether good or bad).
Hence, their decisions toggles and even when God gave them the law, it was mere an illusion to them.
We morally evolved into existence and life forms, and the conscience of the notion behind ethical conducts has been in our trait right from our embryonic stage.
The law given in the garden of eden is mere an illusion. So god was lying when he said the tree would give knowledge of good and evil |

felixomor: Stop twisting definitions to fit your life.
Using ur example, ur 2nd statement is also a claim on its own. "I dont believe Messi is better than Ronaldo"
Also means
"Ronaldo is not inferior to Messi" Its a claim too. Logic is obviously not your strong suit... I don't think anything is... Are u equating "Ronaldo is not inferior to Messi" to "I don't believe Ronaldo is inferior to Messi"... Are they exactly the same statement?? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Conclusion : Atheism Is So Illogical , The Atheist Delusion by randomperson: 10:36pm On Jan 03, 2017 |
Atheism is not just the belief that there's no god... It's also the rejection of the belief that there's god, both the dictionary meanings and the strictly philosophical definitions reveal this... And they don't mean the same thing.... Believing that God does not exist is stating categorically that God does not exist, but rejection of a belief simply states that until there is ample proof or evidence of the existence of God, u are not going to believe... For example, if I say, " I believe Ronaldo is better than Messi"... Is different from saying "I don't believe Messi is better than Ronaldo".... The first statement is a claim in itself while the second is a stance of indecision or inconclusiveness until you are persuaded otherwise... |

I.mean, just under month ago, 200 innocent people had their skulls crushed by a falling Church building. Did you see any Federal response ? Any legislative response ? Any commission of inquiry ? Any arrests and prosecution ? Any relief or compensation for the survivors and families of the dead ?
The answers to all of the above is a big fat NO.
Just imagine the sheer amount of money Adeboye, Oyedepo, Olukoya or Odukoya, the presiding clown at MFM, Oyaks , Okotie and all the millions of lesser clowns scattered all over the country Rob the Nigerian population every single week. Just put your mind on the staggering figures.
Now, the most painful is that these parasites give absolutely Nothing back to the society, except for more empty, more fraudulent BULLSHYTES and schemes. U don't need to go that far... HardMirror: Now you must think we all stuppid.
Here are the bible verses
Matthew 27:5 Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself. Acts 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
So how do you fall headlong from a hanging position? Are you trying to rewrite the bible?
If a man was to commit suicide by jumping, do you know the proper way is to jump head first to ensure quick death? But here you are trying to twist things to suit ur nonsense fancies.
Again don't presume us fools here, I know ur church members wld applaud ur "explanations" to ease their confusion, but don't try selling ur bullcrap to us here. I don't understand how any one in his right and proper mind can claim those two verses are not contradictory... And felixomor is saying unless one of the verses says "he never hanged", it's not a contradiction.... Well, the bible doesn't say he never drank poison. Does that mean it's not contradictory to the bible to say that he drank poison?? |
