Why are you bringing up worn out excuses... U can't claim every Christian dying of hunger is lazy... There are events beyond the power of these people but your god does nothing to mitigate their poverty....

Any Christian that dies of hunger is a lazy Christian and should not blame God. God taking care of one doesn't mean that God will throw food from Heaven to you. God can take care of you by connecting you to a lucrative job or business and it will be your responsibility to take care of that which God have provided for you. If you mismanaged it you're on your own.

Your assertion is based on facts, research or what?? There are Christians who die of hunger caused by events beyond them, for example, famine... U know your comments means the widow who only had two denarii was poor because she was lazy?? That's a myopic way of looking at things

You missed it, it's not by financial, material or earthly possessions that you know who's a Christian. You should bear in mind that prosperity isn't answerable by fasting and prayers alone but by given; (Luke 6:38 says Give and it shall be given unto you...). Any body who operates on this principle of giving unconditionally shall prosper. But the best prosperity is the prosperity of the soul, that's been born again. What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul in HELL. A true child of God does not influence prise to get riches but an Atheist can do it, this is also another FACTOR.

Does god promise prosperity in the bible?? Yes, it does and u as a Christian should know that. And not everyone who gives prospers.. Even the widow in the bible that dropped all her money was still poor.... There are committed Christians all over the world who also give and are still dirt poor...
U are yet to reconcile the promise of prosperity in the bible with the fact that there are Christians in this world that are dying of hunger

Before Christians start complaining that atheists only attack Christianity, try to understand that since I was once a committed Christian, it's the only religion I truly understand.

Christians just like adherents of any other religion believe they are special and held favored. However, this idea doesn't seem to have any truth in the actual world...

Let's consider Financial wealth.

Are Christians significantly richer? That doesn't seem so. A large number of the poorest people in the world are Christians. In fact, the richest countries have very high populations of atheists, while some others are Muslim dominated?? There is no single shred of evidence to suggest Christians are less broke, or have better financial convenience... In actual fact, there are Christians dying of hunger...

How do we reconcile this with the idea that God provides for Christians

The concept of light in the universe was created on the first day. When the light was yet not created, "darkness was upon the face of the deep."(Gen. 1:2). I admit there are things GOD has not revealed to us, for example, how He was able to make the sun a source of light(finding that out will probably answer many questions). When we get to Heaven, we will know all these, anyway.

It was on that same day that GOD ordained the "day" to be the period when there is light, and the night to be the period when there is darkness.

I don't know why Christians can't just take the bible at its word... The bible says light was made on the first day and sun on the fourth... U should take the bible at its word, it's called faith

Is the sun light? The sun is simply a source of light. Just like a torch is not light: it is a source of light.

GOD declared "Let there be light" and there was light. He did not say "let there be light for the earth" on the first day. He simply said "let there be light." You get it? GOD created the concept of light in this Universe. And He ordained it to be that when the light is, there is day, and when the darkness(which is the absence of light) is, there is night.

The sun was created to give light(to be a light-source) to the earth(Gen. 1:15), and it was created for times and seasons(now the earth revolves around the sun, and this revolution brings about seasons).

The sun was created on the fourth day, but light was created on the first day... So if the sun is the source of light, where did the light of the first day come from and how come there was day and night on the first day?
