Bleep off ashewo! grin cheesy grin tongue

@Jackal

That is what you get when you try to change your style of play. However, its just temporary. Don't get too excited just yet. cool

@Nateevs

Exactly. Carvalho and Terry haven't played together for ages. Leave Jackal. He'ld never say anything positive about Chelsea even if we win by 23 goals to nil. grin  He hates us that much. grin cheesy

You have a tough game tonight. I've read a little bit about Lisbon, and from what I've read, they are a stubborn side. They'ld be a tough nut to crack, so don't even think for a second that you're g'onna just walk over their heads. grin cheesy

I no blame you o. Na UEFA's fault. They should have fixed your match against Sevilla at the same time as our match. Then we would see who would have been gloating this morning. grin cheesy

Anyway, like the adage says: -'He who laughs last, laughs best grin'. You better go and consult all the oracles you know and go join the Muslims in their fast, because with that your SUSPECT defence, I would love to see how you escape your impending trashing tonight in the hands of Sevilla! grin cheesy

It's not spurs you're playing o! grin cheesy grin

I would be watching every bit of that match and expect me to give you hell afterwards!

@Jackal

Who the Bleep is Larry Izamoje? huh

Anyway, about Jose's interview: I can't really blame him. He's been under a lot of pressure and it might be showing, but I feel like hitting you with a sledge hammer for saying he should be sacked! angry  There was nothing wrong with any of his tactics last night! Nothing!!!

I don't even undertstand why a manc should be slating us sef. Was it not your team that Reading held to a draw just recently? And what were your excuses after that match? huh You said they packed a bus. grin Well, Fergie should have been sacked after that match. grin

Well, we have more excuses than you did, so please stop gloating. grin We have a bizzare list of injuries, so you would have done worse in our shoes. tongue

As for the half empty stadium, I would attribute it to a poor marketing strategy from the administration of the club. It isn't my business. grin cheesy

All I'm interested in is watching good footie, and trust me, I wasn't the least bit disappointed last night.

Even Roman enjoyed had so much fun. Did you see his face? They kept turning the cameras to him and he seemed to be having a jolly good time.

We are in a building stage. We are building a new style of play (exciting and entertaining footie) so give us a break. At least now we know where our problem lies. We are just a step away from being perfect. cool

I just can't wait to face you guys on Sunday.

Anyway, good luck with your game tonight. Hope Lisbon wouldn't be another Reading. grin

@Nateevs

Thank you jare.
You won't believe this though - During our match last night, a gooner sitting next to me and praying desperately for us to lose confessed after the match that if Chelsea continues to play the kind of exciting footie we played last night, he would dump the gunners and become a Chelsea fan. cool grin cheesy

By the way, there was a turkey lipsrsealed on this thread screaming last night about how boring our game was. Some people just love to slate us, but never watch our matches. Its sad. sad

I can't belive it! A bloody scouser running his mouth!! shocked  For your infoa, we played a hundred times better than you last night, so shut the Bleep up!!
If not for old mother luck, we would have won!
Besides, we didn't have a dumbass Pennant on the field. grin cheesy grin tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Razorr(f): 11:49am On Sep 19, 2007
@True Chelsea Fans(Chelsea fans only grin)

There were a lot of positives to take from last night. First let me say this: I am not in the slightest bit worried about us progressing from this group. The level of shyte, bad belle and bullshye talk(even from Chelsea fans embarassed) this morning is unbelievable and disgusting. sad I love a bit of doom and gloom myself (dropping points is never a funny thing), but there wasn`t much. . .  I repeat - NOTHING MUCH, wrong with last night's performance to be honest. cool

Rosenburg had one half chance and scored it, and we should have won the game by four or five goals. Our approach play was excellent, crossing was very good, and we looked dynamic, solid, and never really under pressure from Rosenborg(It was a gig for those guys. they came to party. You could tell frm their rection after the game grin). We hit the post twice and Kalou on his own should have got a hattrick. He didn`t, and we managed a bizarre draw against a team that we will comfortably beat away. You get those games sometimes, when there seems to be a magical forcefield around the goal and you just cannot score. Our bad luck last night was incredible. We'll play worse than that and hammer some teams, but the the god of Luck was against us and that`s all there is to it. It cannot go on forever. cool

Ballack, Carvalho, Drogba, and Lampard would all have played if fit, and we missed Pizarro's strength up front last night too. That is easily half our goals right there, and yet we created so many opportunities that it seems incredible that we only managed to score once. Take Alonso, Gerrard, Agger, Torres and Crouch out of the Liverpool line up or Scholes, Hargreaves, Rooney, Saha and Vidic out of the United line-up and see whether kasala no go bust. grin People argue we should still be able to put away a team like Rosenborg but they did exactly what I knew they would do and park the bus, look for breaks, and niggle the life out of the game. Not saying Liverpool or United would have struggled but neither did we really. Poor finishing and colossal bad luck. sad  I suspected before the match that we'ld get held last night as I was expecting a worse performance and a continuation of the run of bizarre bad luck we've had of late, and I was right about the luck and the fact that we'ld not be as clinical without Drogba in the team, but we played much, much better than we did on Saturday and looked dangerous throughout. I am happy enough to be honest. You get these games sometimes. We'ld still go through so no worries. cool

Malouda and Kalou were the worst culprits in the poor finishing stakes but they did what they do - they create chances and they put balls into the penalty box. undecided  Both played better than of late(I was impressed cool).

Sheva is not a target man and never will be, and the lack of a target man up front to hold the ball up is why JT went up there for the last fifteen minutes. Shevchenko took his header well and probably also should have had a hattrick. I thought he played excellently considering the pressure he is under from everyone. Good movement, good pace, good awareness, and always made a nuisance of himself on the shoulder of the last man. He is still short on confidence but looked good last night and with a couple more goals under his belt he should find things a little easier. Joe Cole continues to improve and although perhaps a little selfish last night on occasion probably justifies his place ahead of Shaun who was also excellent when came on. Essien played well and dominated the middle of the park but his shooting was absolutely woeful. Alex looked class and had another good game alongside JT.

Man of the Match I thought was Belletti: he looks absolute quality. Great runs, good on the ball, good passing, and doesn't stop running up and down that flank. Really impressive and I hope the people who were slating him for not being Dani Alves before he'd even kicked a ball for us are feeling suitably daft. God Bless Barcelona for selling him to us! Frank must be biting his nails now. grin cheesy Did we really buy him for 3 million pounds? shocked

Rosenborg for their part will probably never play that well defensively again this season and that point was their cup final. We looked like we wanted it more, and that was pleasing as well. I have questioned the desire of the team in recent weeks but there was plenty of desire in this game. cool

The chorus of boos that greeted the final whistle were an embarrassment though. Why boo? I don't know what kind of asshole boos his own team but they aren't Chelsea fans as far as I'm concerned. angry We played well, looked hungry, were incredibly unlucky and you cannot boo that. angry We didn`t win. Big deal!!! We'll play Schalke and Valencia at home, and probably Schalke and Rosenborg away. We can probably afford to lose in Valencia as well. undecided No crisis at all.

The way the papers were going on about it this morning you would think we are out of the Champions League. The gloating in the tabloids this morning was absolutely shocking!!! shocked  The hordes of Gooners, Manure fans, scousers et al on different sites last night and this morning all coming to have a giggle at our expense: Bleep's sake!!! They obviously expect us to collapse and fall to pieces so let them grab their mics and have their laughs. These tabloid-reading ASSHATS(apologies Jackal grin) are rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of our impending downfall and loving the fact that they can come out with their witty comments and clever yabs. Gosh, aren`t they intelligent boys and girls?(rolls eyes) sad

If you haters think last night was anything other than a good performance and hideous bad luck then you are more stupid than we thought. So my dear blues, bite your tongue, keep quiet, don't waste your time mouthing off about it because the scumbags wont listen. sad

Just wait for the backlash. Starting Sunday. cool

I'm feeling so sorry for manscum right now. grin

Sweetheart, honestly, I'm not trying to yab or make fun of you or anything like that but please take note of the following facts: -

1. The word 'Descent' means 'the act or an instance of descending' or 'a way down' or 'a downward incline or passage (a slope)'.

On the other hand. . .

2. What you meant to say was 'Decent', which could mean, 'conforming to standards of propriety', 'free from immodesty or obscenity' or 'fairly good'.

Go back to primary school, or better still, go take adult education classes and then come back to yab me.
